We contacted our bank (ANZ) six weeks after the filter we ordered (and paid for by credit card) failed to arrive and a "transaction dispute" was instigated. As soon as we did this, our order was dispatched immediately! It has since arrived and seems to be the genuine article. The bank was extremely helpful and the process was very quick, as well as effective!

Scam ripped me off no filters after two months and no reply’s to emails.

They ripped me off $149aud I didn’t get my product they never answer any of my emails hate people like that. I didn’t know it was in Australian dollars either as it wasn’t disclosed on the website. I don’t understand how after news reports they’d still be able to have an online website still running in New Zealand?? Some dumb blinkin protection we have.. this has been going on for years. Why isn’t there a no star rating?? And why aren’t these reviews coming up in the search browses??

Terrible company. Don't respond to messages except with generic ones saying they are busy and will. I thought I was dealing with a NZ company and then found it's converted to Aussie and more expensive. Took ten days to even process and say it had been sent after numerous attempts to cancel. Will never use or recommend again.

they are still trading, how can that be,$33.50.scam, if they take your money they must have a bank account,they can trace it but do they,they must be working together.buying online will die, everone will lose out.bad karma to them( scamers).

Do not buy from this company. As others have said it is a scam site. Took money but no communication or product.

Ordered a water distiller and it never arrived. I Emailed them and they said it would be shipped next week, this was late January. Still no nothing and they wont communicate back. 30 days later I was able to apply for a chargeback and eventually that went through.

Two weeks after the chargeback goes through they send the goods. Again they do this with zero communication. After the distiller arrives they demand I respond so they can get their payment back or that I send the distiller back and pay for shipping out of my own pocket.

These guys are pure scum and will do anything to steal your money. Avoid them at all costs.

This is a scam site. I wish I would have looked them up some more before ordering. They collected AU$59 (they’re not even based in NZ) and never sent the goods. Same experience here, dummy “we’re too busy” emails from Zendesk, and the phone line is not real.

As others have said.
Site is a scam. Take the money and no product, no communication. Fake telephone numbers and automated "we are very busy" replies to email requests.

THIS IS SCAM. Like many others here purchased from them and never received anything. Hope others read the reviews before paying money to these rats.

Ordered from them once before about 4 years ago and that order took 3 weeks to ship.
Ordered again Feb 6th 2023. Order still ‘processing 4 weeks later, numerous emails via their message portal- a couple of actual responses advising me to be patient, and giving two different future shipping dates- which came and went without shipping occurring.
March 9th, Cancelled the order - again- via their website message portal, requested a refund. A note appeared on my order on March 13 2023 saying the order had been cancelled, refund would take 1-10 working days….. is now March 31, no refund, rang my bank, no unprocessed transactions….
Can no longer access their Nz website- showing error try again message. Live chat never worked. Ever.
As well, prices are in Australian dollars, which is noted in very very tiny writing at the bottom of pages.
Have messaged the Truwater Australian website - appears to be the very same company - no response apart from the same standard ‘ high volume of emails we will be in touch in 1-5 days……’

I had the same issues as others. I paid for an item on 16 February and have not received it. This company appears to be a scam.

Horrible, absolutely horrible. Place an order for a water filter and a cooling unit on their website. After a week, tried to follow up via email as the status was still in process, no reply. Tried to do it via their chat facility on their web site, nothing. Also had a go at calling the number that’s in their home page, numbers discontinued. Try to go to their AU website to see if any other contact details that are different. Nothing. After numerous attempts of trying to see what’s happening, decided to cancel the order. Still no reply. Had to go to the bank and go through a credit card dispute process to get the money back that took almost 3 months. Complete waste of time. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!!!

I wish I read the reviews before dealing with these people. 3 months since I purchased my filter, no filter, no money and no contact. Now I have to look around for another one and pay again. It's not right for a business like this one to keep operating.

I purchased Anti Calcification Coffee Filter Cartridges and Espresso Machine Cleaning Tablets in November 2022, it is now March 2023 and have still not received. After sending multiple emails to the company about this order and requesting a refund, I have heard nothing from them. The number on their New Zealand website is no longer in service.

Ordered in January - despite many many emails and NON answered calls - NOTHING - just taken my money

Scammers. Don't buy from these guys in NZ or Ozzie. Same crowd. Same Scammers. I had to dispute the transaction with my credit card issuer and got a charge back.
