Complete lack of communication
No one answers email enquiries. 500g bags have been oos for weeks. Ask about it and zero reply. Then up pops Black Friday and suddenly they’re available. Web site is awful, there’s no email to tell you alternative subscriptions are available. Beans great. Everything else needs to give its head a wobble.

Ueshima coffee
For those like me addicted to a particular Ueshima product, in my case Fuji Mountain, the periodic 20% offers are a good time to save a little more than this over supermarket prices - I earn free shipping too with my typical order of four packets of ground coffee and two boxes of Nespresso-compatible capsules.

the best coffee at this price point in the UK
This is, to my mind, the best coffee at this price point in the UK. Ordering directly was great and ensured I got what I wanted instead of a subpar substitution from a supermarket. In addition it was delivered by Royal Mail so it actually arrived when it was supposed to, and in a beautiful box.

I enjoyed the taste…..
I enjoy the taste (8/10) using the Nespresso pods but find it’s weaker than I would like. Personally I’d need at least 3 or possibly 4 pods on an expresso setting to get a decent & strong enough cup of coffee. Maybe I should have expected that as Japanese people like delicate things so probably prefer delicate tastes/coffee
