Toluna

Every day when I go to toluna to fill in surveys there are no surveys no matter what time of day I try. There used to be loads of surveys. The rewards are rubbish as they are for shops I don't go to. There are only 5 shops to get rewards for and the rest are lots of charities and planting trees. The shop most people go to is TK MAXX but this is not one of the rewards and there is only one paypal reward which is unfair for people who don't have a smart phone. I have to get so many points just to get a £35 paypal reward. Most people want money not a useless e voucher. No no no I don't recomend Toluna to anyone, do not subscribe.

They paid me the first time

They paid me the first time. $15 gift coupon. The second time they sent me a voucher that was EMPTY. Unusable. Trying to get replacement.
Still trying to do surveys. Like the rest of you, I get timed out at the end. They won’t take responsibility.
Have a lot of points waiting to collect.
They are pretty bad. Stay away from this site.

Changed the rewards system

I have had many £20 vouchers from Toluna for completing surveys. I tried to get £20 voucher as usual and all the vouchers were sold out. They have now added new vouchers but instead of being able to cash in at 110, 000 points for
a £20 voucher I now need 165, 000 points before I can redeem for a £30 voucher. The points per pound is still the same but trying to get to 165,000 points is very disheartening especially when most surveys time out, or fill up half way through, or I don't match the profile they are looking for. Has gone completely downhill

Constant screen outs, even after completing half the survey

After spending ages filling out profile screening questions, it surprises me that I should be invited to surveys that I am immediately screened out of- or worse I'll get halfway through the survey and they'll decide the answers aren't going how they want so they say "we're looking for something different". I just did a survey about washing machines, meant to last 5 minutes. About 3 minutes into the survey I am asked "who does the grocery shop in your house", and my answer of "I share it equally with one other person" got me screened out.
By this point I have already answered over half the questions.
This is the same for every survey I've taken, it's a bait and switch situation. Would definitely not recommend this survey site.

SCAM

Where do I start?
It was all right to start with, however lately:
- I'm constantly screened out
- keep getting error messges right at the end of surveys and no reward
- "no surveys available"
and now as i was about to use up my points my account misteriously doesn;t work - authentification failed and I can't reset my password.
so in simple words - SCAM!

Appalling website!!

Appalling website - they take your personal details, and then the site crashes. On my phone, or laptop, can never access the site to revoke access and delete my details. Buffers on surveys, not once reaching the end of a survey because it crashes every time on all devices. I've blocked and marked as spam. WASTE OF TIME!

Absolutely dreadful survey site! Don't waste your time.

Toluna cancelled a rewards redemption of mine THREE times, with no explanation until I worked my way through their not exactly user-friendly customer service portal, then said they'd done so because they'd detected 'unusual activity' and that I was accessing my account from a different location. Despite the fact the first time I'd requested the reward was from my home on the same laptop I always use. As was the third request, which was also rejected. When I tried to log into my account just now to start the laborious customer service process again, it had been deactivated. Just don't waste your time. You need such a ludicrously high number of points to get rewards, and then even when you have the damn points they just refuse to honour them anyway!

UNABLE TO REDEEM POINTS.

I have tried, without success, to cash in some points. After numerous attempts on 3 successive days to get a code sent to me by their 2FA system, I gave up. I had tried all the things that Zendesk suggested. Nothing worked. Tried 4 different browsers, cleared cache and cookies and still no joy. I worked for these points. Its like getting your salary withheld!

Great experience! I was removed, but after a through review they decided to give me another opportunity. I probably made some errors due to using a cell phone and the small key pad it has.

I really appreciate being given a second chance as I really enjoyed working with this particular organization. They only do this after a very lengthy review of your account to make sure that their rules were followed overall. I'm sure I made some errors on my part and that's how my account got flagged, but I really appreciate being allowed back and hope to be much more careful in the future. Thank you so much!!!

Suddenly no surveys,

Suddenly, and without any explanation stopped receiving surveys. Perhaps it was because I kept complaining when things went wrong (Often)? If I was a Company, I would give this "Market Research" Company a body swerve. It does not engender any goodwill in its panelists!

After a while I chose to claim a 'reward' with sufficient points but the website kept throwing me out.

Pretty much the same experience as many of the people leaving comments on here - on several ocassions have spent lot of time (and on one occasion over 25 mins completing a survey only to be logged out and told i didnt match the user profile....go figure.)
Recently I tried to cash in my points only to be told they couldnt process the cash out and the points had been returned to my account. Funny thing is that i have now been locked out of my account and can no longer gain access to my account. I wont be contacting customer services about how to reset the password - becuase it seems like this is a standard Modus Operandi by the company. So my advice is to stay far away and AVOID this company, who seem intent on withholding client points following survey completions. Wasted hours!!

Recently cashed in my points for a handful of £5 vouchers to start Christmas shopping. Logged me out, cannot reset password. Same set response from customer services about how to reset password and funnily enough my redemption requests have been cancelled and points returned to my account I can no longer access. Wasted hours!!

Spent a week completing surveys and…

Spent a week completing surveys and reached the first reward with added bonus points to purchase a reward. When I tried to log in to the account I had been blocked out. I emailed customer service and they said that they had suspended my account due to inconsistency in location against the device I was using. So I have now lost log in and access and any rewards I had gained.

Scam- stay away!!!

Just echoing same what others wrote - stay away and dont waste your time!!! Wish I read all that comments before I invested hours into doing surveys to then having my account suddenly locked because - showed issues (no explanation what issues). Obviously when I was close to redeem my points - go figure.

Dishonest

For the last few weeks, they have been sending me surveys but then coming up with the same message 'Would you believe it; we are currently out of surveys'! Is this their way of getting rid of me? Maybe I'm too old, but then why not say so? I'm 80. But other survey companies are honest enough to do this; round up your points hand them over and say goodbye and thanks, but not Toluna!
