7x9 hard to find
Our search for a 7x9 rug, an odd size, at retail outlets proved futile. Uniq fit the bill with a beautiful rug online. We were nervous about the purchase and overseas delivery, but the process was smooth and timely. Best of all, the rug is excellent quality and looks beautiful in our home. Highly recommend.

Follow-up - I still have not received my order
I still have not received my order. According To Fedex the item has still not been shipped. Very disappointed in lack of customer service and the delay.

To follow-up my earlier review from December 8, the shipping issue was resolved and reshipped using UPS. I have finally received my rug and extremely happy about the quality of it. I would definitely purchase from Uniq again and appreciate the efforts to ensure delivery before Christmas. Changing rating from 1 to 5 stars.

The colors on this rug were not as…
The colors on this rug were not as displayed on my computer screen. Instead of a red, the color was more of a burgandy. I was expecting closer to a white background but this was as slightly yellowish beige. The description also said hand woven but the perfection of the yarn ties on the end make that questionable. All that said, it is a pretty rug and arrived as stated.

This is the third time I have ordered rugs from Uniq in the past few months. They were were all delivered very promptly as they indicated and were all beautiful rugs.

The quality of rug was NOT good and it…
The quality of rug was NOT good and it had a very musty smell. It seemed it had water damage. Plus there was a big hole in it that seemed had been repaired before. None of this was disclosed at time of purchase. More upfront transparency would be better.
Customer service was very good though.

You purchased a hand-knotted nomadic rug made from natural sheep's wool. Due to the high humidity during transportation, it is possible for the wool to develop a slight smell. However, this typically dissipates after a few days once the rug is aired out. We apologize if this caused you any inconvenience.
Regarding the condition of the rug, we aim for transparency in all our product descriptions. While we strive to ensure our rugs meet the highest quality standards, we regret that the issues you described were not disclosed at the time of purchase. Ordered Gabbeh rugs for the first time. Rugs came in a few days and are absolutely wonderful! They are soft and a perfect fit to our newly renovated house. I am obsessed with these rugs and have bought 3 so far. Looking to order more in the future.
