I have been using the app for a while, and now that I have tried to redeem cash back they have suspended my account and are refusing to help. I have sent emails and done chats and this is truly a terrible experience but I really hate to lose all my earned cash back. They have told me to reset my password and email them my credit card number and then it can all be fixed but I do not email my credit card information and the password reset email takes hours to come through so the code is always expired by the time I get it. I am so frustrated and am now convinced it is a scam since they refuse to help fix the errors.

I've had this app down loaded on my phone a few weeks and I've made several attempts to use my ten dollar bonus with the cash back every store I go in act like it's a sin they don't want to scan the code a few said upside doesn't want to pay.So it's not a good app in my opion I've had the worst luck ever with it today I finally just bought 30 dollars worth gas with it to see if I even saved on gas I know they won't scan for the 10 dollar bonus .

I buy gas 2-4 times a week. I would say a third of my offers show expired. I am a corporate driver. We have different cards for different vehicles. I buy a ton of gas. I’m normally sitting at the station when I submit the offer. Then they tell I was at the wrong station. I think it’s turned into a scam.

Was great at first. Processing was timely, amounts were consistent.
I check the amount cash back at home before shopping. Now, that percent changes once I get to the store. Or, "max limit reached".
I understand they can't keep the pace at high% forever. I think the number changing ( which has never gone up) when processing seems sketchy.
Tuesday, Fresh Market showed 17% when I was leaving work (10min from store). I went to process $45 receipt in the store. % dropped to 8.
Today, ordered Domino's delivery. Showed 30% at work. After $40delivery, went to process receipt. "Max limit reached". No cash back.
Should have shown that initially.

Joke! The commercials claim you get $200-$300 a year. I’ve been using for several years and the most I’ve gotten is $30. Don’t fall for the BS!!

Should be a zero I had upside app on my phone for 2 years and never got one dime back what a joke I do not recommend this app I do not recommend upside at all it should be downside

The company Upside has a faulty referral system—when you try to add a third person, your account gets blocked. And the support centre - responds poorly, refusing with standard phrases like “restart your phone.”

This is a SCAM! I did 3 gas purchases totaling $78,2 weeks ago
I have received no credit to my card.

Total Garbage. Don't waste your time. Heard an ad on the radio and was going to fill up the tank, so I figured, "Why not?". Well I found my local station and clicked Claim at which time it instructed me to drive over there. Filled up, went inside for my receipt and clicked submit receipt. At this point it was 5:28 pm and my receipt was stamped for 5:20. The app asked me if my purchase was made between 5:29 and 9:29, which obviously it couldn't have been. Contacted support and they told me that I didn't claim the offer before the purchase so it's my fault even though that wasn't the case. I claimed the offer before driving there and the only thing I clicked after that was "submit receipt" at 5:28. It seems to be set up so that they won't have to pay out even though they will still be compensated. This was my first time trying it and most definitely the last. Hope this review saves somebody their time at least.

I've used this app at least 5 times and only received money back one time. Either they"expired" or are"pending" for weeks and then "expired". I don't see the benefit.

I did not receive my $40 cash out gift card and have been attempting to contact UpSide to find out where it is. They do not allow you to reply to emails, their customer service email does not work and their customer service line does not give an option to talk to a person. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I have tried to ash out several times. I don’t shop at the places you offer so I want my money in my bank account. Watch out!!!!!!! Upside requires I give them my bank login and password to give me my money. This is fraud. I’m going to get a gift card and close my account. How stupid do you think I am?

They say it gives you cash back, but multiple times I have had everything they require, but after so many days it will state either issue found or expired, so not sure shy or what is up with this but it isn’t giving customers what they think they are getting, on an average family using it weekly, it hard to get more than just a few cents back most of the time on fuel especially, no a fan right now.

It's always something with the receipt O it's prepaid gas receipt... ummm really it's 2025 it's been since the early 90s you have to pre pay for gas 😂😂😂 or verify your card info... I mean really use the same card every time.

It just say processing, I did everything the app ask me to do. It’s been 2 weeks.

Started out okay , but 2 weeks ago they offered 35 cents a gallon on purchases.Took vehicle one to get deal , it worked great. Took second vehicle out 10 minutes later.
Hit claim again, showed 35 cents, but after pumping gas it only gave me 4 cents.
This is bull,so I got mad tried to transfer what I had in my account, but because it was below 10.dollars , they were going to charge me a dollar.
Never anything about that mentioned when I signed up.
As soon as I hit 10 dollars I am deleting the app.

F’n scam! Everytime I use it, download the receipt, they ALWAYS send an email with some sort of excuse to Not pay me. Sent in the receipt and then they’ll send you an email wanting to confirm bank and email info. Very fishy. I’ve used the same card with other providers and never have had an issue.

Worst app huge scam I went to use m 10 cent bonus 11 days later not processed and now they giving me the bonus again even though I still waiting for my last gas fill up. About ready to cash out and delete the app and use no longer

You go out of your way to say 5 or 10 cents a gallon and upside just rejected my receipt saying it was prepaid. Upside I paid with the credit card that is registered with you. There's no way to prepay with my credit card. I gave you the receipt with all the information you needed and you still rejected my measly 10 cents a gallon. You are a complete waste of time. There is no customer service no phone number and no one to communicate with because you inevitably would never be able to get off the phone. Not honoring a measly 10 cents back per gallon is Despicable especially considering I did exactly what you wanted I've used the same card for every purchase and now you decide to reject it saying it was from a prepaid card. Absolutely rubbish nonsense and of course no Solutions because you have no customer service f you. Jan 28th 7/27 . 2180 merced street San Leandro Ca. 64.15 Purchase. You have no excuses
