Unable to change vehicle on the portal

Unable to change vehicle on the portal. Phone call waited 20mins for answer, Spoke to Jacob said I would have to call again when at the dealer and gave me a different phone number, he was most unhelpful Rang at the dealers and the guy said this number is for cancellations only (Thanks Jacob prat) Rang again a new bloke took details said hold so I did for a further 20mins with no reply. Got fed up drove new vehicle home on dealers insurance. Rang again in the afternoon they said new policy would be needed as current insurer does not insure this vehicle. Got put through to sales and the chap was brilliant set up new policy in 15mins I told him about the previous bad service, he said thats why he's in sales the other idiots were customer service (or lack of it)

I will never use them again

I will never use them again. They are, in my opinion one rung above scammers. I Asked not be be put on auto renewal.
I was put on auto renewal. I called and asked to be taken off auto renewal which they told me they would but started talking about cancelling my existing policy. Why? 14 days before the expiry of my policy they auto renewed taking £551 out of my account. I contacted them and was told in writing there was no record of me asking to come off auto renewal. I called them and ‘Stella’ found the record of me calling asking to be taken off auto renewal. First woman just lied. The ‘best quote’ that they sent me was for £160 more than other quotes I’d got elsewhere. They then tried to interest me in another quote as the ‘best quote’ that they auto renewed on was apparently just a ‘sales quote’. They tried very hard to rip me off but failed.

Sophie explained everything very…

Sophie explained everything very clearly and sorted out the issue very quickly. Unfortunately this cost a lot more than the original quote but thanks to Sophie explaining that my previous company insurance didn’t count towards my no claims even though I have a letter from the previous company insurance conforming I had not had any accidents or claims.

Van insurance sorted …

Already sorted my insurance using this company and found the perfect despite I was getting constant phone calls txts and emails asking me if I’m still looking for insurance. All sorted now apparently I was still live on their system for some reason. They have apologised about the error. They are worth a try if you’re looking for van insurance.

Awful harassing company

Awful harassing company. I filled out an online form and received some high quotes and immediately got bombared with harassing calls. There have been over 10 calls today and its is just distressing.

So they replied and promised a refund plus a £50 Amazon voucher to get me to remove my review. I have not recieved eight to date. And they will not respond to emails despite me asking to escalate to a formal complaint and involve the ombudsman. I’m pretty sure that is a legal requirement but they just don’t give a damn

Complete rip-off. I found a policy for £1000 less

Update: I was contacted by customer services at VanCompare.com the day after I cancelled my policy. The customer service caller listened to my grievance and apologised that the service I received fell short of what they would expect to deliver and my deposit was refunded.
