100%. scam. They offer a $1 vehcile title report (that you can view online). 5 days later they charge you $29.95 via a membership plan. At no point do they merchandise a membership plan. Total bait and switch. After trying to cancel online (whih they hide the form on their website, the cancellation form (itself) does not work and throws an error to contact them. Ok, so I contacted them. They do not answer account termination requests nor will their live chat reps cancel your account. I paid via PayPal and am shocked they allow this company to use their payment services.

This appears to be a scam. This is the same phone number that is associated with VINSEEKER.COM, which is also a scam--for all the reasons other posters have said. Charge you $1, then hit you with a subscription fee 7 days later. The number BTW goes to some unrelated exercise equipment company (unless they're faking it and that is their clever way of rerouting anyone with a complaint.) If anyone can find a way to talk to an actual person, share it here. This company needs to be held accountable! Tell the BBB and join me in a class-action suit if need be.

scam... repeated unauthorized charges July 23 29.95, Aug 23 1.00, changing vendor name 2nd time to P2vin.com; visa confirmed same merchant # as they accessed new card 3 more times as they pay for Visa Account Updater (VAU) service. Had to replace card 5 times total. Opt out of VAU if you can. Credit Unions will let you, banks might not. Visa now finally says they have a block on this Merchant.

They charged me and I didn't received my report, I am so annoyed. BTW they charged me almost $26, when the website said for only $1. I claimed on the email and that account does not exist. I WANT YOU TO REFUND ME MY MONEY BECAUSE YOU NEVER SENT ME THE REPORT!!!!!

Total Scam. They lie that it will cost a dollar and they charge you additional for subscription which I never authorized. The report contains info you can get for free on the DMV website.

Scam! Says $1, but charges a lot more. Got a $1 fee, $14.95 fee and also the $179 fee mentioned by others. Don't use this website. Also, they try to dispute these bad reviews to get them removed. STAY AWAY!!

Report gave me no information, and company charged my card $179.95 after only informing of a $1 and $0.95 charge.

I request 1$ report and they charged me 25$. I noticed in my bank statement that this charged me around 20 times x25$. It's 500$.
I locked the credit card and I have to get a new one.
I'm still in process to find a way to get my money back.

READ THE FINE PRINT! Only $1.00 for a report, but my report was never sent. They billed my card $1.00, and then an hour later they billed it for $25.00. Then after another hour or so, they tried to bill it for $179.00 but my bank caught it and declined. I ended up having to cancel my credit card and go to the bank to get a new one. Don't bother with this monkey business.

I was trying to locate a vehicle history report online for a vehicle I was considering for purchase with trade-in. One (1) vehicle history report ... I provided my credit card information & "thought" my credit card would be charged $1.00 for one (1) vehicle history report. I was reviewing my credit card statement two days later & there were two (2) pending transactions noted as "Car Data Lookup Com" with an 800 number listed. One transaction was for $1.00 & the second transaction was for $179.00, so I called & found out it was VehicleHistory.us.org & questioned the $179.00 unexplained pending charges. The gal said this is for your one year subscription for unlimited access to vehicle history reports. I never subscribed to this & I never authorized this $179.00 charge. If I had the option to choose a no star review,that is what I would choose. There is no excuse for this error. None! The actual vehicle history report I did order online for $1.00 was not as informative as I was expecting.
This company will not get my business again in the future.

Definitely a scam! Avoid at all cost! They tried charging $179 on my card after charging the $1. The report is also empty and useless with no information.

They say it is a $1 fee for initial report, but they WILL charge you $24.95 for a nonsense report. I immediately called the customer service and the lady said she will refund me. Hopefully this is true otherwise I will dispute it, the government needs to shut down this website. Boooooooo!!! Throwing tomatoes!!!! Boooo!!!

Total scam. I admit I was not in the best mindset when I made the $1.00 purchase. Charged me $24.95 in addition. Did not even complete the full registration. Called immediately and got a refund and will continue to monitor in the future. P****s

They say they offer a free report, then they charge $1 to get the report, so I paid the $1 and checked my billing statement and they also charged me $49.50 which I did not authorize. Definitely a scam, don't trust the ".us.org" ending. Customer service offered a refund in 3-5 business days. Never got the car report, awaiting the refund.

Scam, Tried it once on a dirt bike i purchased and they signed me up for a 24.95 subscription. Used the 1$ again for a car i was looking at and they signed me up for a 49.95$ subscription this time! they canceled it both times but still it was not disclosed on their site. STAY AWAY. Barely any info on the vehicle is given as well

Scam. The report I received was useless and they charged me $1.00 PLUS $24.95 immediately. I called and cancelled....better to pay CarMax and get a factual report.

A scam. They say you’ll get it for free and then say for $1.00. They tried to charge my grifriend’s card $24.95 but the bank blocked it as fraud.

FRAUD. STAY AWAY from this site. They lure you with $1 fee, give no relevant info and a spurious sounding company with name like VINDATA tries to charge $24.95 on your card. Luckily, my card company smelled fraud and declined. Now I need to cancel my card and deal with aftermath!
