I made a call to Velux and was lucky enough to speak with Nicola. I found her to be knowledgable, patient and skilled in guiding me through your product range and what your company could offer to meet my needs. Having the ability to speak to Nicola and time to understand what was right for me will really benefit me placing an order with you. I've been working with an architect to look at retrofitting a large window area into a sloping roof. They recommended Velux but neither option they identified suited my needs. I contacted the Velux Design Service directly and was delighted to learn that they could configure at least two options that would be far more suitable. The Velux team were very knowledgeable and have agreed to update my architect drawings with more suitable (triple) window combinations. All at no cost!

When faced with the dilemma of a broken cord on my black out blind, I couldn't find any reference on Velux Spares web site, however, after scrolling through google, and YouTube, seemed only a bodged repair could be done, I then phoned Velux Technical, spoke with a very helpful member of staff by the name of Michele, who advised me, I could in fact buy a cord replacement set for £14 + delivery & vat. She also linked me to a How To video. Arrived ahead of scheduled date, and was an easy repair following the video instructions. So nice now a days to get so much customer help and assistance.

I had three Velux solar powered windows and blinds fitted at my property a year ago. During some roof maintenance work one of the units failed to open. A quick call to Velux (Susan) and advised to look at 30 second magnet video. Such a simple fix and all sorted. Not only are Velux windows the best on the market but more importantly the after sales service is excellent.

Placing the order for 5 blinds was simple, the bracket kits had to be re-ordered but they appeared a few weeks later. Everything good and Customer Services provided two missing VAT invoices for our ISO audit by return at 17.00 hrs on a Friday evening - that's excellent service and real dedication! - Thank you Velux!

I phoned VELUX for technical help with an electric blind. I spoke to Alistair who was extremely helpful and patient. We were on the phone for one hour and twenty four minutes at the end of which problem solved and all working. I cannot praise Alistair enough. VELUX support is without doubt second to none. The products and support services are excellent

Really helpful customer service team helped me on two occasions with what seemed like a complicated purchase. This included sending links for installation instructions, which saved a lot of time. I felt like a valued customer and was treated in a very relaxed manner. Well done.

The velux window is easy to use and look great. The black out blind is effective at keeping out the sun. The installation was well done with the old window being removed carefully. Although the blind side controller broken slightly after the 3 years warranty, Velux were generous enough to provide a full replacement. Now thats customer service!

Had a great experience with the After Sales Team, a quick phone call and the Team swung into action. Having moved into a new house with a non operational Velux window the Team quickly identified the issue, forwarded videos and offered advice on a solution. Cannot fault the professional manner with which I was dealt with, nothing seemed to be any bother, the emails and phone calls from Alisdair, Billy and Sue were extremely helpful talking a novice through the whole chain disconnect and motor reset. Thanks again, much appreciated

I spoke to a number of customer care advisors today about an issue with blinds that I had bought in August 2025. Sadly each said they had spoken to a manager and was told me there was nothing that could be done as the 3 month deadline for exchange or return had passed.I had bought 4 blinds and unknown to me I had put the incorrect code in the order.
I tried a fourth time and spoke to Dylan, I explained that there was a genuine mistake as the codes for the window and blind were very similar. He was concerned that this was the 4th call I had made in the day. He understood the issue was sympathetic and said he would find for a solution. He told me he looked at each case individually and not as a blanket coverage.
He was able to convince his manager that this was a simple error and very similar codes on their online system could confuse the average customer.
To my relief he was able to agree for me to return the blinds and receive a full refund. I have now with his help ordered 4 new blinds to the correct sizes.
I would like to thank Dylan for going above and beyond to assist me. He is a real credit to the Velux After-sales team.

Thanks to Lucy, I was able to get a KIG 300 gateway connected to my window without having the original remote control. Following the app instructions is useless because it does not give you an option "CLICK HERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL REMOTE". Then it should walk you through the basic remote set up like Lucy told me. It was a waste of her time and mine. I am grateful to her for stopping me from throwing a chair out of my window but not grateful to Velux for their poor app instructions!
