Great Jumpstart To Healthy Goals

A bit confusing terms of membership, my kit told me I was both too high and too low in cortisol, but a representative reached out to me and explained the correct readings and sent me a free card to run my results again. I really feel like this can help me get on track.

Excellent app, wish it tested >6 indicators

Really cool tech and app! The sample strip was handy and easy to use. App UX/UI is beautiful and practical with follow-up content (e.g. I have low/high biotin - now what? it provides info/steps I can take)

As somebody already dialed into the health industry, I'm not sure I'd use the app resources as much, so I couldn't justify the membership cost in "regular times"... but highly considering subscribing for a few months during ironman training season!

Members will be able to set goals and connect with wellness coaches to have all their questions answered. We love the idea of testing leading up to an ironman... We have some members that even test just once a month to stay in tune with their bodies.

Fun experience, but the app is a bit buggy

I was gifted Vessel from a friend and was super excited to try it! Overall I think the test is super easy to use - the instructions are super clear and the videos are very informative. It was exciting to get my results and see where I’m doing well and where I’m lacking in my overall health. I also found the recommendations very informative and I appreciate how they cite their sources. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of bugs in the app. When I was taking the questionnaire after the test about my diet and sleep, I tried to go back to change one of my answers and it ended up skipping through the entire test. This was really frustrating because now I’m not sure if it’s taking my lifestyle data into account. There needs to be a way to set goals and data later, and not have the app force you into flows that you can’t exit out of. Other than that I had a positive experience. Not sure if I’d purchase this on my own though.

Beware: all they care about is cheating you out of money.

Beware: no matter what you do, you can not cancel.

I’ve had the subscription for a year. I’ve used it for 2 months. I was not happy with the product at that point. I continued my subscription (6 months) then tried to cancel. The only way to cancel even after not being happy with this is to go back and “pay to get out of the contract” I’ve had better luck getting out of gym memberships than whatever this cult is. I’m absolutely frustrated. I have a 40+ cards that I won’t use and about $280+ wrapped up in this. They offered to let me “pay my way out” by giving them the higher rate.

Terrible business practices. Product might be good for someone else. The idea is amazing. However your not a customer, just a bank account to these people.

Update: Sue made the situation right. After talking to many people, finally.

Accurate results for improving health

I was gifted a test from a friend, and it was a fun experience! It was really cool to see the recommendations for improvement in my health as well as what’s good. I know the results were accurate because I took the test after I had worked out that day, and it showed my cortisol levels as high. Great tool for assessing and forming plans to keep healthy!

I was gifted a test strip and was surprised how easy to use / informative the whole process was. The app gave plenty of instruction on how to correctly test and upload the results. As somebody who doesn't often seek out help to improve my diet I was interested to see they offer support in that area. I haven't utilized this feature yet but it looks like an extremely valuable part of the subscription.

How do you cancel?

Customer service is poor as they make it extremely difficult to cancel the monthly subscription. I received an email saying my subscription was canceled yet they continued to charge me. You cannot cancel on the app and they do not answer the phone. I still need help ensuring my subscription is canceled and my money returned.

Update, they have made the situation right and even went above and beyond by refunding my original purchase. I do think the app may need some work because I was never able to cancel on my own from the app but I am confident now if you have a problem it will be addressed in time.

Our Month to Month members do have the flexibility to skip months or cancel at anytime right from the app within the "manage my membership" section. Our 6 and 12 month memberships do need to reach out to us via support for help with cancelling. I do see that Rachel from our team has assisted with a cancellation and issued a refund for you too... I really enjoyed my experience using…

I really enjoyed my experience using Vessel Health! I always get nervous with at home tests because I'm afraid I'll mess it up or do it wrong to give me inaccurate results. I felt so confident following along with the Vessel instructions--everything was so easy and clear to follow. When it came to my results, I was also hesitant that I wasn't going to be able to understand what my results actually meant. Vessel Health did an incredible job breaking down my results so that I could understand, and gave me great alternative ideas in how to help! Would definitely recommend this!

Great service!

So easy to use and very interesting information! I enjoyed learning more about my body and how I can take ownership of my help! I especially enjoyed having a nutritionist ready and available to help me! I worked with Sydney and she was so kind and knowledgeable. Would recommend!

I was gifted a Vessel test strip and was excited to see which nutrients I was lacking. Need more magnesium! Surprised but thrilled to see I was hydrated enough, because my urine was dark. Quick and easy experience! Haven't explored the "plan" portion of the app yet, but I been drinking lots of water - and feeling wonderful now

Vessel is great!

Vessel was super easy to use. From the moment I went on the app up until I received my results, everything was very straight forward and user-friendly. I received my results within minutes and it was very interesting to see what was high, low, and just right about my body. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and look forward to using it again.

Easy and accessible healthcare!

I recently received the gift of vessel from a friend! I am not a huge fan of going to (or paying for) a doctor's visit, so I figured this would be a cool way to look at some aspects of my health without the same time or cost spent. It was super user-friendly and the packaging was sleek and simple! I followed the clear directions and took the test in the morning before work. It was fun to feel like I had my own little lab in the comfort of my own home. The whole process took less than 10 minutes, was very easy to do and clean up, and I was excited to find out that some of my levels were better than anticipated! After reviewing this with a nutritionist through vessel, I feel more informed and empowered to make next steps about my health. Even through the app, they help you make goals and healthier choices (if you are ready to), which I liked as well. I would highly recommend this quick, easy, and accurate form of testing to dive deeper into knowing your body and your health!

Not possible to cancel subscription

I signed up for a monthly subscription to try it out. It wasn’t for me and I tried to cancel. It’s impossible, they don’t let you cancel the subscription and I am now in an infinite loop with their customer support.

Hi Sarah! Our memberships are all paid monthly but we do offer various plans (monthly, 6 month and 12 month) and the month to month plan has the full flexibility to cancel at anytime. We've made it really easy for our monthly members to cancel on their own... If you do have the monthly plan with this flexibility you can actually cancel from right within the app in the "manage my membership" section. The only time our support team needs to get involved is if members have a 6 or 12 month membership they want to cancel. Even in those cases we work with members to find an acceptable solution that best fits their needs. Do not waste your money !!!! Horrible company.

As much as I wanted to love this company and the idea behind it I unfortunately have had nothing but a bad experience from the very beginning. Being very excited to try out the test strips my phone had major scanning issues I was never able to scan it on my device although they claim “most devices are compatible” so I skip the rest of my test strips in hopes to cancel but I never received emails back for months on the issue. They kept sending me test strips even though I thought I cancelled and they would charge me when I’m not able to use them. I have piles of strips unable to use. Eventually I get an email back from a representative named Sue Engasser who was anything but helpful or nice. Expressing how I wanted to cancel she told me I couldn’t until I fulfilled my year and skipping did not count. I told her it didn’t work scanning and she told me my device should work and then seemed to ignore me and close my case. She was not willing to help at all she seemed very condescending and rude. This company is a money hungry scheme, I highly suggest if you are concerned about your levels to go get them checked professionally or find a different company. One maybe with better customer service or better device compatibility. After all of this I have not one good thing to say about vessel and I truly hope everyone’s reading thoroughly on the fine print because even if it doesn’t work on your device you are still stuck paying for a product you cannot use. So thank you vessel for wasting my money and my time.

a month

I tried Vessel for a little over a month and consistently got results that said my cortisol was high and magnesium was low. Because I was concerned about the negative health implications of these levels, I requested a comprehensive blood workup from my primary healthcare provider. The results showed my magnesium and cortisol levels were all within a very healthy range, meaning the Vessel tests were not accurate. To be clear, I did the Vessel tests *exactly* as directed.

I do not trust the accuracy of these tests and am in fact frustrated that I was going to such lengths to increase my magnesium levels (taking supplements, etc) because they are obviously not based on anything valid.

To touch on blood/urine testing just a little bit- a blood test measures nutrients in your bloodstream at a moment in time, whereas the first morning urine test that Vessel uses reflects around 8 hours of nutrient levels... we actually expect some differences in results when tested with urine vs. blood.

I will be reporting them to the BBB. I have been trying for weeks to cancel and get canned responses everytime about how they want to call me. I don’t want a call, I want to cancel. I am also advising my card company to decline any future charges. This company is a scam

I have been communicating to Vessel…

I have been communicating to Vessel Health about membership issues for weeks now. I signed up for a yearly membership, yet I have been unable to view it or log in. Customer service gave me a new login, which I used but it doesn't show my membership purchase. It's like I have a ghost account with my payment and shipping and an app account that keeps prompting me to sign up. I travel a ton and need to be able to access my paid membership, but no-one has been able to connect the two accounts and I can't access my paid one. I am within my first 30 days and have asked twice now via the "We Got You" email but haven't gotten a response, so I don't feel like you "Got Me". I have wasted a ton of time trying to resolve this and just want out at this point. Good luck to anyone trying to cancel.

Great service

Overall, this company has wonderful customer service and is quick to reply with any issues. When I had issues with my phone grabbing a clear enough image (it's an iPhone 8+ which is still within their recommendations, but not as good of a camera as some newer models) for the test results to process, I was sent replacement test cards no questions asked. I also really liked being able to monitor different things, but I didn't find the nutrition or supplement information very helpful in my particular case because I really just wanted to monitor vitamins and already have pretty extensive nutrition and wellness knowledge. The plans that you create for increasing low vitamin levels or lowering high stress levels for example, were a bit unhelpful as well, since you are kind of made to choose a plan (otherwise the alert doesn't go away and I can't stand alerts). The plans would maybe be helpful for someone who has very little nutritional or wellness knowledge though. I really like the idea of this app and company, and I have no doubt that with time they will continue to make improvements.

No response when trying to cancel

I have been trying to cancel my subscription. I tried talking to a representative through their chat feature and they stopped replying. I was later told they were “disconnected” but they never tried to contact me. I have sent multiple emails with no response. If I don’t receive a cancellation confirmation within the next day or two, I will report them the the BBB.
