We have a young puppy that had had a very upset stomach for a number of days, which was concerning. Being regional it is not quick or easy to get in to a vet, particularly on a weekend. We were concerned early on a Sunday morning, found VetChat, and were able to speak with a vet within 5 minutes! It was incredibly helpful. The vet listened carefully to all our concerns, gave great advice, and there were follow up notes and check-ins with us following our consultation. Would 100% recommend VetChat.

It was so simple to get the advice at 11 30 pm on a Saturday night prior to seeing the nurse at vsos. I followed there advice and had vitals checked by a nurse with no need to go further with seeing a vet. Service was fantastic and extremely professional. A great service

Once I had filled in the appropriate forms and confirmed the service was part of our insurance premiums the rest was easy.
Dr Donohue was reassuring after she had viewed the photos and I had answered her questions.
We also appreciated the email containing the notes of our webmail conversation.

Not having had issues with pets before, it was distressing that my 6 year dashound was having a great deal of difficulty standing or walking.As it was a public holiday, was unsure how to proceed.While reviewing his Pet Insurance policy , I noticed what appears to be a benefit to have free consults online.As an old aged pensioner, it is always important to safe a few dollars.Having connected to VetChat, and paying a fee, was given some great advice. Result, Mustard taken to emergency Vet hospital and was in surgery in less than 2 hours.Mustard is now home after two weeks in hospital, with instructions to avoid walking for several months. Mustard is becoming used to his restrictions and I truly thank VetChat for helping a distressed owner

It made all the difference late at night to have a reassuring professional giving you help and support. We live 100kms from the nearest vet so being able to give Gypsy relief from the pain for the night was a godsend. We got Gypsy to our vet first thing Sunday morning and she is now on the mend.Thank you all for the help and the follow up check ins it made a stressful time so much easier

Very pleased with the short time it took to connect with Dr Abby who asked various questions about the situation with our 8 month old pup who had eaten quite a bit of chocolate. The advice given was very timely and reassuring. Thankfully everything turned out fine in the end and we didn't need to go to the emergency vet.

After logging in to the site I waited less than two minutes before being connected to Dr Claire via video link.
This is the second time I have used this great service and highly recommend the “best for pets” program which includes 24/7 access to a professional and caring vet . We are very happy with all aspects of the service.

Always respond promptly and give feasible solutions

My dog was suddenly acting a bit strange one night.. It was a bit scary, obviously if he got worse or didn't get any better we would have to see a Vet but to know that I was texting one while I could keep an eye on him at home and try a few things before calling emergancy was very reassuring...

I didn't really know it was an option til I was looking up his Vet's contact details.

I spoke to a lovely vet and the follow up emails were appreciated. I will now not hesitate to use the chat service again.

(As someone else mentioned messages not coming through - try refreshing your chat page. I had to keep doing this to get replies to come through also..)

My first dealings with VetChat and I have to say that I’m impressed. The response from sending my initial message through on VetChat to being linked to a veterinarian was within 2mins.
The veterinarian really put my mind at ease and gave clear instructions on how to help settle my furbabies itching and biting at his skin until I could get him to a vet for a one on one consult.
Even receiving a call and email from another vet to make sure everything was ok with my furbaby.

First time engaging with VetChat. Great platform and advice. My two cats had bowel concerns which was easily diagnosed by the vet I spoke with via video link. Script’s were emailed to me directly and were able to be filled at my local pharmacy. Which made things very convenient.
