Vevox has been great in getting us set up, and Dominic specifically made the experience seamless for us. We used it for an event and it was a success amongst our attendees. Would recommend.

Vevox is a great online polling platform

Vevox is a great online polling platform, that has been received incredibly positively by both students and staff at our institution.

Feedback from users has shown that where Vevox has been used in teaching, it helps break up teaching sessions, increasing engagement and helping students reflect on the content of the teaching session. For staff, it has allowed teachers to gauge students understanding of a topic, and to tweak further teaching accordingly.

Implementing the platform has been very easy, with excellent support from Vevox to ensure that everything has been working correctly. We have had incredible support from Vevox, with training sessions for staff, as well as in-person participation from the Vevox team at events.

The platform is incredibly easy to use, with flexibility to be able to run Vevox sessions on any web-enabled device that has a web browser, allowing Vevox sessions to be run outside of our institution - for example for outreach activities.

From an admin point of view, user management is very easy, and the usage analytics are detailed and useful for gauging how and where Vevox is being used across the institution.

Excellent support

Excellent support, helped me fix my issue with Vevox polls moving in PowerPoint slides, as well as gave an easy to follow solution for multiple presenters using same slide deck synchronously to multiple separate groups. Kate did a really helpful video to show how I could fix this myself going forwards, helping my own IT skills in the process.

Why you should use Vevox instead of other platforms?

First of all, Vevox is really user friendly. You can be a first timer like me, but still make a project that everyone will be amazed with. Second, the high level customer service will make your experience even easier and more enjoyable than it could be! Third, even the free plan allows you to create a presentable project in which up to 150 persons could participate, which, let me admit, allows greater opportunities than any of its competitors. But I would still recommend upscaling your plan to have greater creative freedom!

Vevox has changed the way lecturers get…

Vevox has changed the way lecturers get feedback from their students, in a GDPR compliant way. By paying for Vevox, it means we are assured of where our students' feedback is stored. We have used Vevox in our VLE environment, and it means lecturers can use the tool in all modules and can go back to the data collected, within a course module. It also means lecturers are not using random websites that are not secure.

Quiz creation is fast and easy

It is super easy to create a quiz to close a training session and help participants measuring what they learn. I like the feature to add images to illustrate each question and also the option to have people having to select a part of an image. It helps creating more diverse questions and better entertain the audience.

Used Vevox for an internal event

I used Vevox during an internal presentation and it was a great way to increase engagement and feedback during the session. Joe from Vevox was really helpful in the lead up to the event, and on the day everything went really smoothly. It was easy to use and the functionality with polls, word clouds and Q&A were great for gathering feedback.
