Disappointing response for a faulty product

Terrible customer service. I'm stuck between Vichy customer service and superdrug customer service. I bought a vichy night moisturiser in the Brixton store. I opened it that night and it was half empty. I took a photo, emailed Vichy who told me to return it to Superdrug Brixton. I returned to Brixton with receipt and faulty product and they said I needed a reference number from Vichy. I have since been bounced back from Vichy to Superdrug and still no one will take the faulty product. I'm very disappointed, as I have never experienced this kind of service from large companies before, as they always take a faulty product.

update 1/4/24: have been contacted by Vichy who have refunded me for the product. So added 2 stars - but wish it had been an easier and simpler process.

Buyer Beware Non Refundable Cheap Crap

I purchased two shades of their gloss lipstick that as they advertised is near impossible to come off. Won't kiss off wont' budge so they claim. on sale for $15.99.
When it arrived thet sent two shades exactly the very same so right off the bat wrong order.
Second I tried a test strip on the back of my hand just to test how hard it was to get off. Well to my surprise it came off with plain water, no soap required.
What I received was a cheap $1.99 lipstick
I tried for a refund to no avail. They asked for pictures in which I sent 3 sets over the past month. They tried to convince me I made a mistake but I have a copy of what I ordered.
I have finally just given up and tossed their cheap crappy lipstick in the garbage.
I should have known better than to deal with a cheap bogus Chinese Company

I recently purchased a shirt style…

I recently purchased a shirt style dress from Vichy Clothing. I was extremely disappointed. The size I ordered was a large which should fit me (a 14). It was way too small. The color was a distinctly different shade to the one advertised. However the most significant issue for me was the fabric which looked quite loose & flowly but was actually very stiff and not as depicted by the video of a loose & flowing skirt. I will Never purchase from this company again 🤔

No customer care for unsafe products

Received a recall notice for a defective product; tried calling the "customer care" line multiple times on a Monday morning (i.e. during the stated opening hours), received nothing more than an automated message that the line is closed... right then...

Never received my items and haven't…

Never received my items and haven't been refunded. Not happy as I spent over £40 . I wish I had read the reviews before buying on the Vichy website. Customer services do not reply back.

Slow, ineffective ordering/returns process and poor level of customer service.

I placed orders on 25th March 2020. I attempted to cancel these orders on the same day by emailing Vichy Customer Services, as I had found the Vichy products at a better price elsewhere, even though Vichy were having a sale. When I emailed customer service, I was informed that they were unable to cancer orders because they had already been sent to the warehouse. Why they couldn't contact their warehouse and stop them them picking and dispatching the items was never explained. Instead, I was told that it would be my responsibility as the customer to receive both orders and return them for a refund. Again, I was in disbelief at the poor level of customer service and that I was being asked to do their work for them effectively.

I received the items a few days later, one of which was damaged. In order to return the items, I had to fill in a returns form, writing each items name in full individually with a reason code. I had quite a few items so this whole process was fairly onerous. There was a separate section I had to complete for the damaged item. This all seemed very old fashioned, given that other company's provide a returns slip which already has all these details printed on it, to make it as easy as possible to return items. Usually, you simply mark which ones your are returning and add a reason code. I then carefully repackaged the items with the returns forms. These had to be returned using signed for deliver, which was expensive. The items were posted on 29th March 2020 and would have been received at Vichy by 31st March 2020.

To date, despite sending numerous emails to Vichy Customer Services, I have had no confirmation that the items have been received and that my return has been processed. It has been 4 weeks since I posted the items back and I am still out of pocket by £37.50 and £34.50, for the two orders. The last I heard, this had been escalated by Vichy Customer Services to another department and I was informed that I would received a response within two working days. It has now been five working days and I have received no update, despite chasing Customer Services again yesterday.

I would not recommend using Vichy UK, particularly as you can purchase their products more cheaply from other companies who do have effective and modern ordering, returns and Customer Services functions.

First-time customer with Vichy online

First-time customer with Vichy online. Had instant confirmation email, then nothing. My card payment was showing as 'pending' I was expecting delivery within a week. I rang them after eight days to chase-up. They advised that all three items were out of stock & order wouldn't be completed. Can't believe that I had absolutely no correspondence from them advising on this. If I hadn't telephoned them myself; I would still be waiting for nothing!
Very poor show Vichy. No customer care. There are way too many other high-quality skincare brands (of similar price range) that will now be getting my business. Customers will always remember good / bad service!
