‘In stock and ready to ship’ means nothing.

My first order in February took 14 days to be delivered, despite all items being in stock and showing as a couple of days for delivery. My most recent order was placed on 01/01/2024 but was delivered yesterday missing one of the bottles. I contacted customer services who have dealt with a quickly and have arranged a refund for the missing bottle, along with a ‘Merry Christmas’ but it simply isn’t good enough. If I’d known that the order was going to take almost three weeks, I would’ve ordered our Christmas wine from elsewhere.

Avoid, avoid, avoid - ordered wine on line but was delayed and then delayed again. Rang and emailed it goes into a void but not heard a thing - utterly disappointed as this was our Christmas wine. Seeing below I doubt I will hear anything and wish I had checked the Trust Pilot reviews.

Dreadful…..scammers in fact, with a premium rate phone line that keeps you on hold, but never reply’s….the wine (cava) I received is flat…opened two bottles and the corks had shrunk so much and they had force metal clips over the corks to keep them from leaking…dreadful…

All this, after I tried time and time again to cancel..

Slow delivery despite them using DHL.

Wines arrived OK but not yet tried. I felt the wine looks good if a bit pricey. Fancy website

I see a number of reviews suggesting that there are problems with delivery in the UK, due to Brexit. From my own experience in Spain, and seeing other Spanish reviews, I don't think the problems are solely due to delivery outside of Spain.
I ordered 2 bottles in a wooden gift box and was given an estimated delivery date of 14th-15th August, so assumed it would arrive in plenty of time for our anniversary. On 16th August I received an email indicating that the order couldn't be sent until the 20th. It arrived on 22nd August, without the box. I called and was given the option of either the box coming at a later date or a refund for the box, but no further compensation. The money was promptly refunded, but I have no interest in ordering from this company again. Their logistics and customer service leave a lot to be desired,

Terrible experience. Delivery took ages. One of the wines was corked. Customer service emails come back illegible- literally can’t read them. Will never use again. Dreadful

I really can’t recommend this company. Their website stated a wine I wanted was in stock so I paid for a case plus an odd bottle to try. They couldn’t deliver the wine without offering a reason. I ended up paying a full case delivery charge for a single bottle. I thought I was dealing with a British company but they are Spanish. They offered no goodwill in apology.

Great website and wines until you need to deal with the company and customer service. My order was delayed, and delayed again, and eventually the customer service team began emailing to request that I pay more money for the wines to be delivered, apparently because the price had gone up since I made the original order!

I thought it must be some kind of a scam. I am still waiting for the refund to be processed. Whilst the prices seem great, as soon as you need support the customer experience falls apart. I’m embarrassed to have recommended the service to my friends.

This used to be a great place to buy Spanish wine at reasonable prices.
They have now put them up to ridiculous levels and they can be picked up often 25/30% cheaper at other Spanish exporters such as Decantalo or at home.
Give them a miss.

I was really impressed with this company, when I sourced some white Rioja recently (Flor de Muga Blanco).
They were very competitive price wise with free delivery offered on orders over £200.
I placed the order on 23rd October knowing that it was coming from Spain, with an anticipated delivery date between the 6th & 13th November.
The wine arrived early on 1st November 2023. The bottles were packaged well with no breakages.
It was a very smooth transaction and I will definitely be buying from them again.
But to echo other peoples comments, please accept that your wine may be coming from another country, so you need to be patient when it comes to delivery, as leaving negative feedback could be unfair.

Ordered a bottle of Gran Enemigo' Gualtallary Single Vineyard 2019. Arrived quicker than I expected, well packaged and the delivery charge was much more reasonable than other wine merchants I've used. Yes the wine comes from their storage facility in Spain, so you have to allow time for you wine to pass customes. However, if you know this and manage your expectations there are a great range of quality wines available. I've had wine delivered from France, Italy and another company in Spain before (yes UK websites but most say in the delivery fine print it comes from storage elsewhere). So I never expect it will arrive super fast but my order actually came quicker than I anticipated (oddly Italy and Spain seem to arrive way faster than France). If you need some plonk fast for an upcoming party maybe try your local oddbins or supermarket instead. I didn't have a problem on this occasion with the courier DHL other than there delivery status last night said we have your parcel, then all of a sudden this morning a text tells me it's out for delivery today. Overall I'd use vinissimus again, their site has a good range of filters to find exactly what you want, in whatever budget range you have (from famous vineyards to bargain bin). They also display awards clearly and allow you to filter by things like parker points. I think here (vinissimus) and a couple of Italian merchants I use will be my go to in the future.

Their delivery service is terrible. I’ve been waiting for one week- every day their delivery company Seur says they came to deliver but no one rings the bell or calls my phone. It seems to be a joke. I have tried to contact the delivery company myself but impossible. Their website malfunctions and when I call I can’t get a human being. I liked vinissimus selection of wines but won’t order again from them.

Vinissimus customer service has been unbelievable. Remember Apple 20 years ago? That's how good it was. I've given 4 stars because their delivery service DHL was totally hopeless. I wrote an email to explain the problems with DHL and that there was no way to interact with them and Sara from Vinissimus was immediately on the case. It took a while but she kept me posted with updates every day. Receiving my two cases was not straightforward but it wasn't Vinissimus' fault and they did everything in their power to fix it. In the end, I'm totally satisfied and comfortable ordering from them in the future because I know there will be someone at their end to help if something goes wrong. That's rare these days. I look forward to buying more wine from this company. Their selection is really interesting too! I'm looking forward to trying a difficult-to-come-by range of wines from Tenuta Dettori, a small biodynamic producer in northern Sardinia.

Excellent service from Vinissimus UK with an order arriving from Spain in time for Christmas. 5th star reserved for when they get the UK prices get more in line with Euro prices.!

Still waiting for my order. Despite this being vinissimus.co.uk (a UK web address), the stock and wines are shipped from Spain. I have been monitoring my 'tracking number' with DHL for 2 weeks and it is unrecognised, I phoned the UK number which is diverted to Spain, to be told DHL number will only be recognised when DHL received it. Its not a very transparent website, had I known I would have ordered more locally.

ordered on sunday, delivered on wednesday. Very safely packeged. Low shipping cost.

Great selection of decent wine. Delivery takes a while buy it always arrives. Pay attention to 'available for immediate dispatch' Vs 'available in 2 weeks' etc. It makes a big difference to delivery turn around times.

Vinissimus during brexit had issues with delivery. But they have been sorted.
Yes some of the prices have gone up post brexit, but for that blame the bare faced liars who promised brexit would be great not Vinissimus.
Vinissimus provide a simply excellent service with fast delivery of an incredible range of wines and there are some utter bargains to be had even after brexit.
Sorry to see other reviewers sticking to boot into a company that has excellent customer service when things go wrong and have always refunded or sent replacements if a wine is corked.
Vinissimus are a trustworthy company and I strikingly recommend them.

So very disappointed with this company due to very unreliable delivery. Placed an order almost 3 weeks ago as presents for friends and family as part of a trip we're going on shortly. They emailed me a week ago to say it had been despatched, so chased them today only for them to admit that when they said it had been despatched it actually hadn't??! No email telling me this. Their reply to my message had no apology at all - they just told me I may be able to track the order in a few days. They didn't update me with a new delivery date. Appalling customer service. I spent over £100 and paid for this delivery. Had no idea all the wine came from Spain for each order either - as they had a UK website address and office address assumed they had a warehouse in the UK. Wish I'd read the bad reviews here before buying!

Ordered 6 bottle of wine over a week before Easter and was only told after making the order that delivery would be AFTER Easter- really not good enough when all companies are making home delivery a big part of their business- also paid over £100 and was still charged for delivery. They will only give free delivery on 12 bottles which is a strange concept- I could buy 12 cheap bottles for under £100 and get free delivery but if I buy 11 expensive bottles in excess of £300 I will be charged for delivery?!?!?!
