Tech department a tremendous help!

We had espresso machine issues and had to shut down shop. Between my lead barista and voltage’s tech department they were able to diagnose, over night the part, and walk her through installation. Super happy with all of their help and not needing to wait on a repairman!

The good

The good: Very competitive prices, everyone I spoke to at Voltage was very nice and seem to be trying their best
The bad: Endless delays, slow-to-non-existent communication, inability to solve issues with distributors/suppliers/shippers on their own.

I could write a 1000-word essay on my experiences with Voltage, but the basics are that I placed an order for two items that were delayed multiple times (initially this was not Voltage's fault, but they did not communicate these delays, requiring me to keep asking for updates as estimated ship dates came and went), and once the items did become available from the supplier, Voltage was incapable of solving issues between themselves, their supplier, and their shipper on their own, and were generally hard to reach and slow to respond to my questions.

I understand that delays happen and that Voltage cannot control every part of the process, but when placing a 5-figure order with a reputable vendor, it's fair to assume that handling the logistics of that order is their responsibility - instead, it has been necessary for me to spend hours of my time coordinating between Voltage and their suppliers, solving their own communication issues, and whenever I tried to let them move forward on their own, no progress was made until I once again stepped in. This process occurred for both items I ordered, despite them coming from different suppliers. Throughout the process, Voltage was somewhat apologetic, but largely blamed their suppliers and offered no other resolution than eventually promising that they would ship me the second item via next-day air, a promise they promptly forgot (the item went out via ground, and when I reminded them of their promise, they refunded me $100, less than 1% of my total order, and considerably less than half of the difference between next day air shipping and ground shipping).

Now, over five months after I originally placed my order with an 8-12 week estimate, I finally have both my items; needless to say, I will not be doing business with Voltage again.

First order from Voltage. Sent wrong item, requested support for resolution and have not heard back from them. Will update review if issue is resolved.

Update 5/14/22: Received correct item today. Kudos to customer support. Looking forward to becoming a regular.

Would have given 5 stars

Would have given 5 stars, but item ordered was not in stock. Was not listed on website as not being in stock. I did received item in time for what I needed, so ended up not being a major problem, but did cause a little stress.
Did a very good job of keeping us updated via email as to status of order. That was very good and much appreciated.
I would order from them in future, and once I've determined that the item I ordered is correct and works correctly, then I will order some spares.

Voltage has been so accommodating, we originally order a machine that was not going to be able to ship for 2 months they called us and gave us some options to get our new expresso machine here this in 2 weeks and installed. Amazing our salesman Matt went above and beyond for us. Thank you!

Ditting Burrs- Received very fast! The packaging was not protective of the burrs. Condition of burrs seemed as new.

Ordered bottomless portafilters and new…

Ordered bottomless portafilters and new gaskets. Gaskets arrived quickly portafilters did not. I emailed after a week to see what was going on, I was told it was being looked into. A couple of days later (still no response) I emailed again and asked for an update. I was told there was a delay. Another week goes by I email asking for an update, get nothing. Two or three days later I email again asking for an update, that is when I ordered from an other website. They shipped that day.
