Irresponsible Lending
Sent them a case through resolver about irresponsible Lending showing i had numerous payday loans at the time and also struggling to pay my Mortgage and ended up with a Repossesion Order. I was struggling to meet the everyday cost of living due to a decrease in income which left me in a complete mess. Got an email from them around 8 weeks later to be told as its over 6 years they declined it even though i was only made aware i could claim these back in November 2018 which was then when i submitted the letter. Having done a full account of my Finances in November this was when i was advised to do them.

Finally after 5 months I have had a…
Finally after 5 months I have had a final response with regards to a irresponsible lending complaint. Of course it hasnt been upheld......30+ loans over a 4yr period (new loan opened as soon as previous closed) isn't seen as irresponsible and that I was dependant at the time on them.
Off to the Ombudsmen then.

Do not answer your complaints. I have now been waiting for 16 weeks! Quick to take your money but not so quick to pay it back when clearly guilty of irresponsible lending.

You may have seen in the press that there has been a rise in complaints across the industry through increased activity of claims management companies. This has meant that we have received a much higher than normal level of queries which has caused delays outside of our standard level of service.
We are committed to completing a thorough and detailed investigation for every complaint we receive, which is why we have not been able to provide Final Response Letters within the standard time frame of 8 weeks.
Due to the delay, you do have the option to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. You can find out more at www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk.
We are working hard on resolving all queries and we will respond as soon as our investigation is completed.

I have contacted them to complain for irresponsible lending but it has been 20 weeks and still no final response

When all is said and done they are a payday loan company with all that that entails. However they are easy to do business with and contactable by phone (you get to speak to a real UK based person) if you need to discuss any problems you may have.

UPDATE I HAVE A COMPLAINT AGREED AGAINST WAGEDAY ADVANCE FOR UNAFFORDABLE LENDING.
I had to escalate this to the FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN service because the original compensation offered was poor and an effort to short change me and deny any wrong doing.
I still have not received any contact from them and not exactly sure why it would take 4 weeks to pay me what they owe me when they lend the vulnerable in a matter of minutes!
