Very disappointed

Very disappointed - extremely slow service and process of refunds. Given that I filled my complaint in March 2018, it’s only now, nearly a year on, that my complaint has been resolved, but that’s only because I passed on my complaint to the FOS. However the actual process of receiving a refund has been further delayed by WDA. It takes a long time for them to get in touch after all is accepted and then there is further delay in payout once you confirm all your details. I’ve had two more complaints with different companies and the response received from them was so much faster, both week or less from acceptance to payout. It’s very disappointing to see WDA dragging this out for as long as possible. I’ll have no choice but to wait now I suppose until the last promised payment date, however reading some of the other reviews I wouldn’t count on it and looks like I’ll have to chase WDA, once again. Please be careful when dealing with WDA. They ask for your patience but that could mean up to a year!

Irresponsible lending complaint

After making a complaint to them about irresponsible lending I received a follow on email on 5th December saying they would reply in full within 10 days or if they couldn’t meet this they would notify me within 10 days. It is currently 5th Feb and I still have not had a response so it’s 8 weeks and counting. It looks like this one will be going to the Financial Ombudsman which is a real shame as this ends up being a long drawn out process for both sides and also costs them more in costs. It’s a shame they act like this. I had exactly the same complaint with Uncle Buck and to be fair refunded me within 2 weeks as they do all they can to resolve it and do not want a complaint made through the Ombudsman.

Update 6/2/19- still no response despite them reading the review, they clearly do not give a toss about getting back to customers or working within the guidelines. I wouldn’t advise people to use this company, there are much better, professional lenders out there.

Update 7/2/19 - still no response.

Phoned for you Richard this afternoon as you requested, took about 10 minutes to get through to anyone on option 4, advisor spent 3-4 minutes trying to put me through to you and then cut me off. All of the information you need from me is on the emails I have sent you so you just need to follow the thread, should you then need to speak to me further please email me your direct number and I will call you.

Disgusting

This company is literally making me feel depressed!
They have been chasing me for money after I’ve been paying... they closed my account, no access to my online account, no updates when my payments were made and no help when you call support! It’s just “oh log into your account online” when I say I can’t they are surprised but not helping!
I feel like they keep taking my money and as I’m currently going through serious problems this is tipping me over the edge!
Do not approach this company, they can wreck your life, health and not to mention finances.
I intend to take this further.
Please STAY AWAY

easy to borrow from, not that easy to repay early.

Extreemly fast response time, fast decision & fund transferred. Rate of interest huge considering small loans only. Repayment terms could be more flexible, ie days, weeks to allow early repayment set by customers. Also online early repayment should be allowed just as borrowing. Didn’t like phoning up to repay early.

They were there for me when I needed them.

They were there for me when I needed money for an unexpected car repair. Online application was very easy to understand and complete and a decision made within a few minutes. Very satisfied with the whole process and would definately use this service again in the event of an emergency. Would recommend it to anyone finding themselves in a financial fix.

So unimpressed with their customer…

So unimpressed with their customer service (or the lack thereof). Using stalling tactics by asking for an additional eight weeks to investigate my complaint. Compared with other lenders I have experience with, I'm surprised and definitely do not recommend this company.
