Really disappointed with the level of response from WDA with regards to affordability complaint.
Original complaint was submitted over 13 weeks, they requested a further 3-4 weeks after the original deadline which I reluctantly accepted, they then requested further details which I provided immediately and they committed to providing me with a final response within 10 working days, which has again now lapsed with no communications from WDA, despite numerous emails from myself requesting an update.
Lost patience with the company now and will escalating to FOS later today.

Despite assurances that the service would be improved, I have seen no improvement in terms of complaint handling for this company. They are extremely poor. I have been waiting a very long time for a final response to my complaint and the company refuse to set any kind of firm timescale beyond a vague aim at 16 weeks (which in itself is entirely unacceptable).

I can only reiterate that anyone considering this service should look very carefully at reviews on here and at ANY other alternative. The money they loan may come quickly but if anything goes wrong (which, looking at the volume of complaints that they cannot cope with, you have to assume it probably will!), resolving it certainly won't be as quick!

Shocking complaint handling. I submitted a complaint re irresponsible lending back in May to which they rejected. I sent to the FOS and the adjudicator upheld my complaint giving wage day 2 weeks to respond. They haven't responded to the adjudicator, slowing everything up and generally being shockingly awkward. Please avoid this company at all costs.

Easy to apply and a very quick efficient service

Good company, reliable. Expensive though. good for people with a bad credit score but for those with a better financial history you can get cheaper rates elsewhere.

it's Saturday night and I've over spent there service all but guarantee the money will be transferred by look on a saturday.. I'm stood by the cash machine an hour later waiting for the money to come through... it's the middle of November and i don't have a jacket lol... this is a complaint... more of a rant about how cold it is and i need a drink...

I sent my complaint to the FOS - the adjudicator found in my favour 5 weeks ago. had no response from Wageday so waiting for the ombudsman to rule in my favour. would not recommend0- they were quick enough to get the cash out of me but when proven that it was irresponsible lending trying to get money out of them is like pulling teeth. AVOID

I've borrowed from wage day advance on 3separate occasions and now consider myself a customer of theirs, if I need a short term fix just before payday. Their loans are sent out within hours after applying, so they are very fast and reliable. They are also open 7days per week, which gives you a peace of mind; incase you may need help with any query. Their customer service team are also very helpful and gives your the reassurance you need when borrowing. I highly recommend them!
