Whats going on walker and hawkes?

I bought a hat from Amazon. They kept stalling and didn't send the product.

I find them very reasonable to deal with as a company, but sometimes the quality lets them down, hence only 4 stars.
For example, I ordered a fleece gilet earlier this year. It came with very smooth-running YKK zips, and was of such good quality that ordered another two in different colours. I was disappointed to see the spec of the zips has changed to a generic one. They are still great quality gilets but the zips are clunky to use, and stick a lot.
This experience would not however stop me from from buying from them again.

Very impressed with my new W&H wax coat. Just what I was looking for. It seems good quality and fantastic value and delighted its made in GB.

So disappointed with my long waxed drover style coat. It is not waterproof and rain has soaked through it from almost day one. It is now 2 years old and has been consigned to the bin! It replaced a far cheaper similar coat that was still waterproof after 20 years constant wear, but the zip broke and it looked its age. This Walker & Hawkes coat been rewaxed twice but I have lost faith after being soaked through to my skin for the last time. Incidentally the company received an email from myself a few months after it was purchased, but never replied. I really couldn't recommend this product or company and have now bought a replacement elsewhere for less money and can now stay dry.

I recently bought the winchester gilet (sized for a chest 46-48,I am only disappointed that there are no press stud slimming designs incorporated into the base of the otherwise perfectly well made bit of kit. I would happily pay £5 more, with that facility.

The website is unconnectable, it’s a difficult system to view products interested in purchasing, I’ve tried numerous times and still unable to access!

Bought a cap recently, very good quality and at a very reasonable price. I ordered the wrong size to start with but it was easy to return and the money was refunded within a week. Highly recommend.

They advertised a jacket on Amazon for a sale price and I ordered it, the next thing was a delay in ship date. then the price immediately went up and my ship date could not be determined. I call fraud.

I ordered the wax cloth field coat and am very pleased with the quality, fit, and function. I understand that it is often compared to a higher priced brand, but I wear this around my farm and the shooting range so I am more concerned about fit and function versus fashion.

Bought several W&H items recently, both direct and through 3rd party retailers. Excellent quality, and very reasonable prices considering the quality of products. I will be using them routinely from now on. Very stylish clothes !

Pay close attention to the information given on sizing with coats. I needed a smaller size than usual, so read what they say not what you already think you know!

company they deal with in country wear,but guess what
i made a return to them,but with no true explanation they just refused to help in any way,just kept saying get in touch with who you purchased it with.Would NOT EVER have any dealing's with them ever again,and would advise anyone else to be careful of this company.

After much research, I invested in a couple of items from Walker & Hawkes, a tweed gilet, and (matching) jacket. Very comfortable and functional. True to size, (but I'd recommend ordering a size up if needing thick jumpers underneath). I don't buy myself clothes very often, but when I do I look for durabilty, good quality, and timeless style. I've yet to try them in arctic temperatures, but so far these are more than good enough against the wind! Very smart clothing at a reasonable price, very pleased, and exceeded my expectations. Well done, W&H.

The quality is excellent and the descriptions are precise.

Very quick shipping here in the US and seamless return policy - including easy to understand instructions and labels. UK sizing a bit difficult for women - measurements don't seem to help much.
