The installation of a Japanese toilet will puzzle some plumbers. Dealing with a UK based brand has been very helpful. They answered queries quickly. The product is excellent.

Well deserved five star product and customer service

I bought a toilet bidet from a different company, installed it and used it. The primary function of these "devices" is to clean after defecation and leave you refreshed without the need for toilet paper. That one was a disaster and never done what it was supposed to do. After chatting with Karen at Washloo, I bought a Washloo Ultra DR and have been using it now for two months and what a difference! it is efficient fuss-free, reliable and very easy to use. The customer service I received from Washloo via Karen was second to none to the extent that they have adjusted the product specs according to my request and in keeping with the water pressure at home. I highly recommend the product and the company

Excellent Customer Service

Have had the Washloo Ultra DR since 2020 without any problem so far. A few days ago a small plastic cover that sits over the water jets split slightly and popped out when being cleaned. I spoke to Oliver who confirmed that the unit could still be used normally as the cover was mainly for aesthetic purposes; he added that they would post a replacement and I would only need to pay the postage. One hour later he advised that it was posted pm Friday and it arrived via Royal Mail at 16.00 today - Sunday. it was sent by Karen who kindly included a replacement cover for the dryer function which is still ok anyway. Washloo are a customer-friendly, quality company. Thank you Oliver and Karen

Such a great toilet and company

Such a great toilet and company, someone answered my questions through the online chat and helped me to choose the toilet I wanted - arrived quickly and smoothly. Looks wonderful in my new bathroom and saves toilet paper!

Very good communication throughout the ordering and delivery process. Loo was installed about a month after it arrived as the bathroom was being renovated. Been using it a few weeks now and happy with the performance. You have to try a few different options before getting the right mode of use for you. Also, make sure the plug is accessible so that you can switch the loo off when you need to. Altogether very pleased

Deserve 6 Stars If Available!!

We recently purchased Smart Toilet Combinations from Washloo. They were installed by a builder a week ago and have worked very well so far. I encountered a small glitch when trying to download the invoice from the link they provided, so I submitted an enquiry via their online platform. The customer service was outstanding — they exceeded my expectations with a swift response and a quick resolution, even on a Sunday. The staff member Karen was especially helpful. Nice work, Washloo, and your customer service team!

Thank you for your review — we’re really glad to hear the seat is now working perfectly.

We just wanted to clarify that this wasn’t a fault with the product itself, but rather an installation issue. The release catch hook can only snap if the seat is attempted to be removed without pressing the release button on the side first. This is something that can occasionally be missed if the installer isn’t familiar with the mechanism, although it is clearly outlined in the instruction manual on page 14 and highlighted in bold lettering. (See attached)

As the mounting bracket is not pre-installed onto the seat prior to shipping (it is in a separate box), correct fitting and removal is important. If the release button isn’t used, it will unfortunately put pressure on the release hook and cause it to break. From the conversation with the installer on the phone, it was obvious this had been missed until after and we didn’t want to argue who did what right/wrong as we just want happy customers.

That said, as a small family-run business, we take a lot of pride in our products and our reviews. We always aim to do the right thing for our customers—even when the issue hasn’t been caused by a product fault—which is why we arranged and covered the cost of sending a replacement part to you straight away, no questions asked.

great service until now but i have a…

overall i am pleased with the system but i have had problems with the plastic cistern mechanism which has failed and now i have a continual overflow ! the company are sending a replacement unit so i will re evaluate rating once i have had it fitted .

Thanks for your feedback — we’re really glad to hear you’ve had great service up until now, and we’re sorry to hear about the issue with your cistern.

For clarity for anyone reading this, Stuart first contacted us by email this evening after our business hours, and then left this review straight after, before we had the opportunity to see and respond to his message.

Despite being out of hours, we did in fact reply within 2 hours of receiving the email, providing guidance and a resolution to help address the issue as quickly as possible.

We always aim to respond as promptly as we can, even outside of working hours where possible, and we’re pleased we were able to assist shortly after receiving the enquiry.

Washloo Sensation - post purchase install issue resolution

We ordered a Washloo Sensation. Having had some issues with the install, the plumber first went through a diagnosis call to no avail. Washloo were extremely responsive in sending out two technicians, Alex and Oliver, who are an absolute credit to the business. They diagnosed the issue initial from the plumbers install (kinked pipe) which caused a problem with the unit itself, and then proceeded to spend nearly 3 hours on fault finding and resolving all issues, resulting in and including replacement of the unit itself when they were satisfied everything was working perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, they have been fantastic.
