Water Babies - Bucks & Beds Opiniones 

We have been swimming with water babies since my little one was 4 months old! The skills we have both learnt have been invaluable! We have had numerous different teachers in the 3 years we have been swimming and each one has been fantastic!

We started Water Babies when my little one was just 4 weeks old and continued all the way through until he turned 6, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough.
Watching him go from such a tiny baby in the water to a happy, confident and completely independent swimmer has been amazing. The lessons grow with them, building water confidence, safety skills and swimming ability at every stage, while still keeping everything fun and engaging.
The teachers have been incredible throughout — patient, encouraging and genuinely invested in their progress. It’s given them such a brilliant relationship with the water and skills that will stay with them for life.
Seeing my 6-year-old now swimming independently and so confidently makes all those lessons from 4 weeks old completely worth it. One of the best things we’ve done, yes it is more expensive than other providers but you get what you pay for and we wouldn't recommend any other swim school to anyone.
We cannot wait to bring our latest addition on her swimming journey.

Overall I enjoyed the sessions and they definitely helped my baby develop confidence in the water. Unfortunately there was no permanent teacher initially so we had lots of different teachers. Some sessions felt very rushed, just hurrying through each activity. I’m not sure they’re worth the amount of money I spent as they are very expensive.

Communication is excellent.
The lessons are well structured and the teacher is patient and encouraging, ensuring that the babies are happy in the water and changing activities if necessary.

Claire, our instructor, is amazing. She is wonderful with my twins and takes the time to ensure every child and parent have understood the task etc

The lessons are absolutely brilliant. It's both enjoyable and fun. Really great instructor. Only reason its not a 5 star is due to the facility. 70% of the time the water is so cold that my little one is shivering, which sometimes changes her mood and become less enjoyable. If the water temperature is a little warmer it would be perfect. 0

H was a very nervous 12month baby. She was the oldest in the baby class. It took a few lessons for her to relax but Claire our swim teacher was amazing. H loves her swimming lessons.
The Pilgrims pool is lovely and not too deep to stand in. The shower are nice.
The changing rooms have a travel cot which I have to use to put H in while I change in a cubicle. The other ladies talk to her and she's happy and safe.
The only thing is the floor can be dirty and waterlogged some days.

The pool has nowhere to change and I really like our usual teacher but the company sends loads of selling emails.

My son loves Water Babies - good staff and lots of fun on the lessons.

We started all 3 of our children at water babies, to learn this basic life skill which could save their lives as babies with our first at 15 weeks! The eldest are still swimming and have so much confidence in the water, our baby is currently being taught by Claire at Pilgrims in Bedford. She absolutely loves it and we have seen huge leaps in her confidence in the water in just 3 months and it’s all down to her fantastic teacher. Claire also taught our 2 boys and we could not recommend her enough, her energy and enthusiasm in the water is really admirable and contagious. We love water babies!

Nikki and Jess make the whole experience worth while, all my children love being in the water and the skills they learn through the courses are incredible.

The company as a whole, is great. The children learn through play in the water, and the teachers make it age appropriate in the language they use to make it more understandable.
My child has learnt so much in the time he has been with them, and is always beaming happy after each lesson. The teachers are personable and friendly.
I find that lessons are slightly over priced, and will be out of a lot of people’s budgets, especially when they are learning a life saving skill. Some of the pools we have swum in have been actually quite cold on the odd occasion, and the one we’re at currently does have cold spots, and the overall temperature is not warm but the room it is in, is uncomfortably warm.

We have always had a great experience with Water Babies, from booking on to then attending lessons. The pool was warm and facilities clean, plus our teacher is fantastic.
If you have not swam with your little one before, I couldn't recommend Water Babies more. Seeing them learn and grow in confidence, but most importantly doing so safely.

Karen who takes the session/brilliant. Lucca has not always enjoyed the sessions mostly because she hasn't been very well this term. One cold after another but Karen has always been flexible and helped me to make the most of whatever we are doing. I have stopped at the moment to give her time to recover and will start again after Christmas

Teacher was amazing. Water babies help child to improve their development.It is like a therapy for additional need children.

We've had a wonderful 7 months with Water Babies. Katie is a fantastic instructor and our daughter absolutely loved her lessons. Despite it not being the official line, neither the venue staff or our instructors ever had any issue with a couple of parents watching from the side whilst the other was in the pool. The classes were so small that there was only ever one or two of us watching. It meant we could assist if our babies were in distress or just smile and help them develop a love for being in the water.
However in our last class we had a new, stand-in teacher, Kat, who very rudely asked us to leave. We were two Mums causing absolutely no issue, watching from the sidelines with only 4 babies in the pool with their Dad's. So there was absolutely no need for that. I'd understand if there were more of us or if we were causing problems, or if the venue had an issue but none of these things were true. Another local baby swim organisation uses the same pool and allows spectators.

Our lessons have also been cancelled last minute multiple times in the past which hasn't been a great experience.

It's with deep regret we've decided to cancel our lessons as we don't want a repeat experience. Our daughter didn't enjoy the lesson as a result and came out distressed whereas normally this is her favorite baby class.

Hopefully another organisation will be more empathetic to a parent wanting to watch her little one swim

We absolutely love our waterbabies lessons, Katy is a fab teacher and my son has come on so well in the 3 years he has been swimming. It is worth every penny and we wouldn't want to swim anywhere else. He is 4 now and can swim a length unaided, he is bursting with pride after each class. The classes are structured but fun for the little ones. Best investment in our eyes ensuring our little boy can swim.

Superb lessons! We love our sessions every week and can’t believe the confidence growth in our little one. So well organised and carefully structured.

Claire is such a brilliant teacher, there is the perfect amount of getting the children comfortable in the water and teaching them skills.
