Water Babies - Essex Opiniones 

My now 10 month old has been loving her swimming classes. It has become one of the highlights of her week! I love how helpful, accommodating and kind the instructors to both parents and children. The lessons are well prepared and taught.

We have had an amazing experience with Water Babies.

Our eldest daughter started when she was just 6 months old and continued until she turned 4 years old. Now our youngest started at 3 months old, is now 1 year old, and she still absolutely loves her lessons.

We have been incredibly lucky to have Jennifer as the teacher for both of our daughters. She is knowledgeable, patient, caring, and brilliant with the children. She always creates a calm, fun, and supportive environment, and it’s clear how passionate she is about helping little ones develop confidence in the water.

Over the years, I have tried switching to cheaper swimming classes, but I always found myself coming back to Water Babies. Although it is more expensive than some alternatives, you really do get what you pay for. Water Babies is so much more than just swimming lessons—they teach children vital water safety skills while building their confidence and enjoyment of the water from a very young age.

Looking back, choosing Water Babies for both of my daughters is one of the best decisions we made. I would highly recommend it to any parent.

We’ve attended three lessons so far for our four month old and he is already thriving! He has so much more confidence to play and splash at bath time and when we are on the poolside waiting for his lesson to start he is itching to get in. We’re very grateful to our instructor Vicki who is very welcoming and informative - she really helped soothe the anxiety of allowing our baby to be submerged underwater! She makes every lesson a fun and interactive time for our little one and couldn’t be happier with the progress our son has shown already. Thank you so much Vicki!!

Katherine she is the best.
I highly recommend her, and I did it several times

We love water babies and have been using them since my son was 3 months old and he is 3 years now. Katherine is great with my son and he loves his lessons with her. The only downfall is that they are the most expensive lessons in the area. We just find it hard to leave because of Katherine and her rapport with my son. Office staff are always quick to respond to queries and helpful and polite. Again, it would be great if we didn’t have to ask for the swim badges at each stage and they were handed to us at the lessons or posted out without having to ask.

My grandson loves his swimming lessons. He was a late starter as a toddler, but has caught up and has so much fun. Great teacher and well structured lessons

Dora, the teacher is fantastic and the class is great.
However classes feels overcrowded with 5-6 babies.
In my opinion, lessons are pricey and the fair number of babies in one class would be 3.

My daughter loves her swimming lessons. I would highly recommend waterbabies to anyone. My daughter started when she was 3 months and she already learnt so much

Positive: Waterbabies classes have been useful to increase water confidence - but having been to different locations for classes, there is a huge difference between instructors as to how they approach/ communicate with babies. Instructors at ravensbourne location make the class more fun and have a very positive/ smiley approach with babies.
Negative: swimming pool at Romford brewery can be cold for babies- often see babies shivering through the class. Also put off by the way payments are dealt with for classes. They take payments in advance and if you cannot go to a class either due to sickness or planned holiday they do not refund the money or use that money towards payment in the next month. Instead you build up tokens which you csn use to book extra classes. This is not ideal if you cannot make any of the other class timings they offer in the week.

Lovely venue, nice size class and great teacher.

Vicki is an excellent teacher. She carefully breaks down each activity and explains to parents the importance of every swimming task, as well as how it supports the children’s next steps.

My little one absolutely loves swimming lessons with Vicki—she makes them fun and engaging. We look forward to them every week.

He started swimming a little later than others, but Vicki has been incredibly supportive, providing helpful strategies we could use at home to build his confidence and overcome his fear of water

Our instructor Vicky is so kind, patient, and a really clear teacher. She makes the lessons fun for me and my baby and has eased my nerves since the moment we started!

We had high expectations of this swimming club because my older son previously attended and had a great experience. Unfortunately, my younger son’s experience was very different.

He struggled to settle and cried during classes, which is normal for babies, but I felt the teacher was unfair and unsupportive. Instead of feeling reassured, I felt excluded and unwelcome, and on several occasions felt pressured to leave the class.

Despite paying monthly fees, we couldn’t attend regularly and were not offered catch-up lessons. Communication from the office felt half-hearted, and although I was promised follow-up calls about my concerns, none ever happened. The final response I received about missing a class was dismissive, which led me to leave.

It is a nice school with good facilities, but parents should be aware that the level of support and understanding may not meet expectations for all children.

The lessons are well structured, Aisha is a great instructor.

This is a fantastic course and gets babies used to water. My child absolutely loves the swimming lessons. In particular, the instructor Aisha has been great. I would highly recommend this course for babies.

Although I really liked the lessons, the flexibility of changing time slot when needed and the opportunity to catch up when you can't make it. I have too say it is really expensive overall and felt trick into an underwater photoshoot that costed way more than explained at first. £125 minimum for 1 picture. Really disappointing as I really liked the swim teachers but unfortunately I won't sign up for more lessons in the future. Great to start with a young baby though, but when older better going to a leisure center

We love sune and the water babies lessons each week.
The pool can be a little chilly for my 9 month old

Vicky has been a brilliant instructor for building my confidence as a first time mum and masons safety skills in the water. Every session Mason has loved and gave 100%. He has developed his skills easily and with a smile on his face.

Vicki is amazing teacher so welcoming and friendly and gives parent the confidence with the babies!

This was our first set of swimming lessons and the teacher is amazing! My daughter has confidence in the water and loves her swimming lessons.
The teacher uses songs to teach the children which my daughter not only loves but allows her to learn to be safe in the water. We will be continuing our lessons.
