Used te be ok now its full of fake profiles, men pretending to be women amd scammers. Customer service is horrendos. They block legitimate profiles for noe reason. Do not give this app your money.

Getting frozen for no reason . My profile it’s verified and I did a second verification in email with a selfie and a pice of paper with today date and still that my profile get frozen for no reason that it’s a huge issue because I found some interesting people to talk with and suddenly my account it’s on hold without any valid reason , beside that it’s not such a bad app it’s just full of scammers

Extremely unsafe app for women. Update: since original review I have blocked over 40 times. The account is on my block list and by the morning the account has been removed, despite all my other blocks remaining, so someone in management is obviously this specific account, knows them, or is also predatory by removing my block, knowing I have made many complaints via email, trying to block them, trying to report them, and made these reviews online. I have sought legal advice and am following up with the e-safety commissioner. This behaviour is absolutely unsafe for women.
Original review Complaint: I have blocked and reported duplicate account for the same account almost ten times. By the following time I use app the account is back so they do not take reports seriously, or the block function doesn’t work making it very unsafe for people with genuine reasons needing to block and report. I have sent email after email with evidence and the response is a standard gaslighting one that tells you your experience isn’t occurring as the block function does work and that they take reports seriously. Then I reply with evidence and more evidence and now I get no response at all. Since that email I have had to report and block the same account 4 more times. Extremely unsafe. I even reported and blocked someone who raped me years ago via drugging me with a man. Reported and blocked account and same as other example again and again, over and over, emailed support with no response. If you want safety whilst dating and exploring sexuality don’t use this app, you’ll end up at risk of harm by perpetrators that use the app pretending they are something they aren’t. Submitted reviews and they say oh no email support! The very email address that told me they take reports seriously, and never replied when I showed more evidence that the account is back daily after I block or report. They don’t care about women.

Complete waste of money. I paid for a year's access, after my mobile phone was stolen and I had to change phone numbers, HER repeatedly advised me that the only way to access that account was via the mobile number I signed up with - despite also using my email address - and there was nothing they could do. That meant I lost not only the profile I'd painstakingly created but also likes and friends - which tbh were not significant, towards the end of my usage of this dodgy app, I received likes from numerous cis het males - bizarre, considering their rigorous screening processes - and so many likes from trans people and masc lesbians, which is no problem except I specified I was only interested in cis femmes. Would never use it again, if I had to go digital I hear good things about Hinge.

This app is low key full of bs. I notice when I cancel my subscription I started seeing more white women. You may get sprinkles of others. The app claim it be safe but it's really not when there's pervert on there pretending they women and no I'm talking about tran women. I got kick off because I post in a chat room that I was looking for lesbian only I guess that came off as bi phobic instead of my preference

I got tired of trans-women claiming they were cis women looking for one night stand! Had a few try to convince me they were biological women when you can clearly see the Adam's apple, if that works for you connect with HER, if you want a biological women, try Tinder or Taimi...

I would advise you all to save your money and don’t fall for their “upgrade” I purchased a 1 week trial and immediately received notification that if I upgrade that same subscription, I’ll be refunded for the original purchase.
I was never reimbursed. I contacted HER support and was told to go to my bank.

Is this normal practice, purchasing 2 subscriptions for the same week? 30+ euro!!

Absolutely unethical as it pertains to the use of bots, disgusting. This app wants to prompt you to pay for a subscription, yet they are using bots to interact with users there maybe 1 or 2 ppl you can meet but the bulk are bots, gross. Yet they want to police accounts and close user accounts. Just so disgusting and misleading

No support and ignore you

I signed up for the free trial of HER which was fine. I forgot to cancel my subscription so was charged £24.99 which is also fine.

What is NOT fine is that, I cancelled my subscription so that I would not be charged again. My profile was VANISHED and my details disappeared as well as my premium subscription despite having just paid £24.99!

I tried to contact HER support but it was a lot of bots and automated responses and going round in circles. It got very frustrating and in the end my friend said I should contact HER via instagram. I did that and got a human response within a couple days which was helpful. Turned out I had to ask Apple directly for the refund via an online process and I eventually got my refund.

I probably won't use HER again as a result of the experience. It takes a lot to create a profile and meet people, let alone have potential match conversations deleted. Sigh....back to the dating drawing board

starting with the fact that they make you pay $45 dollars profiting off queer community is on its own crazy as. it’s like if EA games was a dating app, paywalling every fart. idk if it’s to “keep the community safe” but i have found absolutely nothing that would keep it safe, even tinder can do as well.
not only that, this app is laggy af - the countdown to review likes goes to 0, then something glitches and it resets back to 24 hours when u didn’t even get a look at any of ur likes.

Tired of DMing and emailing support for nothing to change. They will take your money and expect you to use a broken app where all the profiles are fake or inactive. I've used it in 3 huge cities and you start to see the trends of all the fakes. Can't believe they won't refund me - absolute waste of time. Better off on Feeld or Okcupid for queer women

This app has been a disappointment since it was created. There was a feature where you could report straight people or fake profiles on the app. I don’t see what the point of including that feature was when you offer the option for people who identify as straight on the app. It was marketed towards queer women, but I was seeing men on the app, and no I’m not talking about transgenders. Cis straight men, also straight women and scammers. The other features of the app are lacking and the subscription price is ridiculous. The developer, Robyn Exton, has also displayed disgusting behavior on social media. Regarding her responses to users, no the her app is not for me and I deleted it.

Only giving 1 star as i cant give a 0 star account get banned with some 1who dosnt like the look of you reports you with no evidence plus the sight is filled scammers and fakes

I would definitely not recommend downloading this app because of very bad customer service 👎 They're not helpful at all, they literally ignore you. And especially if you eventually wanna delete your account then they flag your phone/number or whatever permanently so that whenever you try to create a new profile again at a later time you'll get immediately banned for no reason as if it's a punishment for deleting it in the first place. So when you try to contact them about the ban they tell you to send a picture of yourself holding a piece of paper with today's date and you send them the picture but then you get no reply back, first after 2 weeks just to tell you that "the files are corrupt". I have even asked them to delete my account if they won't help me but still no response. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP AT ALL!

Joined up and was told my profile needed to be verified which took nearly two weeks and many emails from me. Customer service extremely slow and unhelpful and seemingly only able to answer one email a day. Despite paying a subscription the app never worked properly, when I did get a reply from customer service this was 'always being looked into'. I was then told Her would get back to me after I sent loads of screen shots of the issues I was having and they were going to talk to the app developers. In the end I got sick of emailing and getting no response so I threw in the towel and asked Apple for my money back (had to pay subscription through Apple). About 3 months later I got an email from Her customer service asking if I was still having problems.
That was the only good thing about my experience I asked apple for my subscription money back as the app did not work - there was no argument and I had the money back in my credit card in about 5 days.

My account has been frozen multiple times for all kinds of BS reasons.
First one was just me cosplaying Harley Quinn and sharing a photo on multiple communities, second time I was never given a reason.

Girls who I liked and who were in my city never messaged me, only those who were thousands of miles away.

Even though the app had a lot of choices, it should be free.

Very vague dating site.
You can join with just photos. There is no need to write any information about yourself. Basic information must be mandatory, how are you supposed to know what ‘sexuality’ you are communicating with? People do have preferences about these things.
The mileage distances could not be more inaccurate. Specify you want someone within 20 miles and you will get people 100 miles away. What’s the point in that!
