Shockingly poor customer service. Items that are clearly not in stock are still being sold. I bought a record on September 2nd and after aboit 5 days still had no dispatch notification. I got in touch and was only then told it wasn't in stock. I asked to cancel the order as I needed it by a particular date that was over 2 weeks from my original purchase date. A few days later I get an email promising it will be with me by the date needed and I agreed not to cancel the order provided it could be dispatched by an agreed date. This did not happen and I sent another email asking for cancellation. This was ignored and the record sent the next day, not even by 24 hour service as promised. Now, the record won't arrive until after I have left my house and I won't be able to get it. Absolute nightmare, it's put me off ever buying from smaller independent stores.
AVOID!!
They sell records that they don't have in stock, communication non existent, it's been 2 weeks since I placed an order with them, yet I have no item or a refund.
Save yourself money and stress and buy elsewhere. I thought their prices were too good to be true and I wasn't wrong, unfortunately.
Very quick service from order to despatched to delivery very satisfactory 👍 and tune is banging all 3 tracks 👍

Absolutely 100% A+ from Tim & What records for honoring the incorrect original price they set for this release. A lot of places wouldn't of done that and simply cancelled the orders. Have been using What Records for many years and service has always been great. Thank you guys.

When buying at this store be careful, they can return the money past 2 weeks and without notifying the reasons. They look like little boys from the street doing business, do not comply with the obligations. If you find in another store, escape from them.
Sometimes the price is not worth everything, they sell products that do not have in stock what is an abuse

fast delivery, easy to order and cheaper than other online places that sell vinyl. I've been buying my records from a different site for almost 3 years and if I had purchased them from whatrecords instead I would have saved myself over £200 as they are at least £5.00 cheaper on most albums.

I had Simla problem to other bad reviews on here ,order three vinyls with no dispatch at all until contacted which little slow to get back ,find one vinyl not in-stock ,sent the other two I ordered which they sent wrong version of one as other I knew was rare ,I ordered the one I that wasn't in-stock and got within three days of another supplier,my advice is contact before buy as most not in stock and if don't email they won't tell ya this information which is poor customer service,should alway tell customer if not in stock as soon as possible to offer refund or wait ,not wait till customer gets in touch ,as most said stick with well known suppliers and read reviews before purchasing, something I should have done first 😉

One of my favourite online record stores. Always great prices, the best and safest packaging and great customer service, queries and questions always responded to with a professional and friendly manner. You won't be disappointed!
Absolutely awful! Placed a order on the 21st June still haven't received it. Sent two emails with screenshots of my order. Saying order pending , preparing. No reply and it is the 5th July. Thought it would be a good buy from a indy shop, how wrong I was. Was adding to my collection with a vinyl I wanted. What's going on and where is my order please? Check your emails for appropriate details. After reading these reviews it seems to happen a lot. As I have no reply , no choice to make this negative review unfortunately. I like to support indy music shops, received a order I made 3 days ago from a similar shop.
Finally What records seems a very appropriate name. Sort it out please.

Now 8th July, no replies to this post and e-mails or any effort to resolve my order,and let me know the reasons why I haven't received it. Order still saying pending,preparing. Please reply or contact via the e-mails I have sent so we can resolve this ASAP.
OK I will get it somewhere else.
Also I haven't ordered the Bowie order. So please don't charge me for it
