They have a habit of poor customer service, and this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. My McDonald’s order arrived with the seal on the bag already torn open. When I asked the driver why he’d opened it, he said, “to make sure the order was right.” The order details are literally printed on the receipt, so there was no reason for him to open my food.

To make things worse, the receipt showed the order was packed 45 minutes before it arrived at my house — and I only live about 4 km away. By the time it arrived, both the coffee and the food were completely cold.

I wasn’t surprised to find so many other bad reviews after this experience — it seems this kind of service is unfortunately common. I won’t be using them again.

Hello its a great company wfd and the best driver is Jay he is so helpful and bring the heavy bag for me inside my house and very friendly and nice guys he is fast and quick from store , i wish all the wfd driver should be like him and he has a good english , wish him best of luck in his job

I recently ordered from this Mr Chef and was really disappointed. The chips were preheated, and they were crispy and unedible—there was no potato in the middle, just crunchy, hard exteriors. It felt like they were just reheated leftovers, and honestly, it was pretty disgusting. For a place that charges what they do, I expected better quality, especially with something as simple as chips. When I tried to speak to the manager about it, he basically made me out to be a liar. He insisted the food was delivered on time and that everything else was fine, but the chips were awful. He refused to send fresh ones and didn’t take my concerns seriously. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Review: Privacy Violation and Unacceptable Conduct

I am extremely disappointed with how my recent complaint was handled. I specifically requested that a certain delivery driver not be sent to my address due to a personal issue. Instead of respecting my privacy, the company shared my complaint with the driver, who then showed up at my home with another person to confront me.

This is a serious breach of privacy and completely unacceptable. I made my request clearly and privately—it should never have been disclosed to the individual in question. I now feel unsafe and disrespected in my own home.

A professional service should protect customer confidentiality, not escalate issues or expose personal concerns. I hope this situation is taken seriously and that proper steps are taken to ensure no other customer experiences the same breach of trust.

Always late. They say estimated time is 15 to 60 minutes and most times it take more. Customer service have no clue or extra info about the reason behind the delay or how long it will take and they clearly dont care.

Ordered food and milkshake from this website and it arrived late , the food was gone cold and the milkshake was half empty, I do not know was it drank from or did it spill and I just threw it in the bin

I was waiting 2 hours for my food expecting it to be an hour and got cold food apparently every time I ask for a update it got held back absolute crap disappointing service

Ordered food through What's for Dinner in Athlone - estimated delivery time was 20 - 60 mins. Food arrived 2 hours after ordering. Disappointing service.

Terrible service and appalling customer care! I'm based in Mayo and my experience with this business was beyond disappointing, primarily due to the so-called "manager," who seems in desperate need of retraining or at least a lesson on proper customer service.

Due to a glitch in the app, my order was processed twice. I calmly explained the situation, but instead of resolving it, the manager dismissed my concerns and became increasingly rude and condescending when I persisted. He outright refused to issue a refund, leaving me no choice but to file a dispute with my bank — thankfully, I was able to recover my money.

What should have been a simple five-minute resolution turned into a frustrating ordeal because of his dismissive attitude. As a once-loyal customer, I can confidently say I will NEVER use this app again. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This is what I had to email to whatsfordinner. Iv ordered from them a lot and never complained before. I live 5 mins from the restaurant. They were so rude.
“I’m just off the phone with one of your customer care agents. I explained it was unacceptable that I received a cold pizza. I have ordered many times with your app and I never got a stone cold pizza before. He understood eventually and then asked if we consumed the pizza I said my daughter had because she was starving. He said there’s nothing I can do I said that’s bullshit and he said I was offensive and hung up. I’m so disappointed I will never order from your app again and I will be telling all my friends about this so they also don’t use your app. You could train your customer agents better. If I’m a busy mother who let their child eat a cold pizza because they were starving I shouldn’t be punished. I will be leaving a review when iv time. I may also post on social media so people know your company is dubious with terrible customer care”
Btw the pizza was delivered without a thermal delivery bag which it normally would be. This is standard protocol for a hot food delivery. Whether we ate it or not isn’t the point. The point is you failed to deliver the food properly. A proper business would take responsibility instead of gaslighting the customer. We did pay for the service after all.

I have to say what top class service they offer particularly in the Naas Newbridge area.
Very punctual and extremely friendly and always have the order right.
Special mention has to go to pat my recent delivery driver
Super friendly pleasure to deal with and made sure everything was in the order even down to the milk sugar etc
I would recommend this service to anyone and I will certainly be returning.
Definitely gives just eat a run for there money as I have has nothing but excellent experiences.

It a great new Irish owned delivery service to Longford that once was not there , very easy app , and friendly by Kevin,fast delivery in hotbags. Also stoped for me at Gala for wine

If i could give this app a zero star i wud. Spent 40 mins trying to order food from jps steak house mullingar. Setting up account etc.. Went past 9pm and service was no longer available. I tried to order from pasta bella who informed me I cud order through app. Only to get same message.. no delivery available.. this service gives restaurants a bad name as they advertise delivery and it is not actually an option. And the restaurants are actually amazing

I had complained to Whatsfordinner before that one restaurant was advertising a 7in pizza in their Munchy Box, I ordered this 3 times - the first time, I received a slice of pizza and not 7in pizza WFD manager said there was no issue. The second time I ordered, I wrote in the message box about ensuring a 7in pizza arrived, I received a 7X4in pizza. I don't know if I bothered to mention it to WFD this time as they didn't do anything before, My third time ordering was on the 22nd May and I wrote in the comments box again that the last few times I have not received a 7in round or square pizza, but a much smaller slice. This time the restaurant phoned me and he agreed to give me a 7in square pizza. I was happy that this was rectified and I hope they continue to give this as it says it on the Munchy Box. My unhappiness was with WFD for not looking into this properly when I complained that a much smaller slice of pizza was going out and not a 7in pizza. I wasn't happy with my basic reply indicating nothing was wrong. I am happy that the restaurant has now fixed this so 5 stars for the restaurant on the 22nd of May and I was generous to give WFD 3 stars

I Ordered food from McDonald's via WFD. Food came on time but it was cold as all the was stuffed into one small open bag with drinks, so milkshakes got warm and food was cold.. food also looked like it has being dragged tru a ditch. Sent an email with pictures to WFD no response as of yet... That was 2 weeks ago. I have ordered from the same McDonald's from just eat and everything was hot bagged extra by just eat driver and drinks were separated correctly and neatly presented in bag. I won't use them again

I don’t understand the whole ‘admin fee’ thing. It used to be like €1 and now it’s gone up to €3?? And they expect me to pay €7 delivery on top of that?? So €10 for DELIVERY in total. For a restaurant that’s a 10 minute drive out the road??? Nah. Fix your prices. It’s just robbing at this point. Not to mention it can take over an hour for food to come so it’s not even worth it.

Very poor customer service, they offer a discount if you pay over /€30 but then don't send it and when you ask they refuse, just use just eat

Using here for years. Very rare an issue but when ever there is they solve it quickly. Highly recommend

Rubbish. Over charge. Slow deliveries. If you run into issues with the delivery, or the food they deliver, they don’t deal with it.
I ordered McDonald’s, cost €20 for a 6nugget meal with a McFlurry. Way overpriced
When it arrived, a massive spider crawled out of the food, obviously putting my kid off his food. We removed the spider, dumped it outside and dumped the food. Then complained, not looking for a refund, just wanting to air the issue.
WhatsForDinner wouldn’t even listed without the food and spider being collected and returned to the restaurant. WTH?
Told them to get lost. Won’t use this over priced rubbish service again.
