FANTASTIC COMPANY AND PRODUCT

Excellent service from ordering to delivery. The bar stools are fantastic quality, at a fantastic price. Look great in our kitchen. Delivery was super quick. Can't praise Where saints enough.

Chairs far too tall

We ordered 4 leather dining chairs and unfortunately neither of our feet touch the ground. As a man and woman of both average height and build (5'9" and 5'5") this doesn't make sense to us. Why build chairs that fit only very tall people? Additionally the chairs are so tall that our thighs don't fit between the table and the chairs. The return would cost us 84 pounds, which is annoying since this seems like a defect of the chair. I think that as a consumer you like to think a company that mainly sells dining chairs would make their chairs to fit the average person. Especially a company that sells online and people can't try their products out.

In regards to their reply below I have thoroughly read the return policy and I even contacted the company beforehand to see how much it would cost to return the chairs, and they repeated several times "please read our return LLCpolicy" rather than tell me, so to the best of my knowledge the estimate above is correct.

EDIT: the company has reached out to us and given us a free return and full refund which we are happy with

We always strive to provide detailed product descriptions, including dimensions, to help customers make informed choices. While chair heights can vary depending on design, we understand how frustrating it must be if they don’t suit your space.

We also noticed that you hadn’t reached out to us before leaving your review. We would have been happy to assist with any concerns and discuss return options with you. To clarify, if the original packaging is retained, the return cost would be £30 rather than £84.

We will contact you directly to discuss a possible exchange or return and hopefully resolve this issue to your satisfaction.

Could you have a worse experience?

I bought the Lorenzo chair for ~£364 which was delivered in a box that was pretty much destroyed and hanging on with a single piece of tape.

The chair came with the parts in an Ikea zip bag in addition to having 8 parts missing. When questioning them, they said “the warehouse ran out of packaging” but couldn’t explain why the parts were missing.

They then sent out the missing parts only to arrive in completely used condition and a different colour. To the extent you could actually see the screw were completely worn.

Again, questioned them and they had nothing to offer apart for a £20 refund signalling “you can buy the parts yourself with the partial refund”.

Don’t be bought by the glamour of the website. The standard won’t match.

Good chair and delivery service

Ordered one chair. It was delivered quickly. Chair is exactly as picture shown on website with very good quality. Packaging is carefully done so there is no any scratch or damage when arrived. Recommend and will buy again.

Great service and customer care

Finally I can write my review! My order was placed on the 19th Jan and was duly delivered. Unfortunately one of the chairs was damaged, wasn't packed well, looked like it was put in a box off the shop floor, no protection whatsoever. Today, some 24 days later I have received my replacement chair. Delivery company was at fault for the hold up. Not sure who was at fault for the packing/damage. However I had good communication, service and customer care from Where Saints Go.

Badly organised couriers letting a good company down

Not a great experience due to incompetent couriers. Sally-Anne in customer service doing her very best to keep customers happy but couriers letting her down. For this reason I wouldn’t use the company again as deliveries and collections are totally unreliable.

Lovely chairs, poor communication

Firstly, our Brooklyn dining chairs are lovely. Delighted with them. The reason for the 3 star review is because we found communication with the company rather frustrating. When the chairs arrived, one of them unfortunately had a leg out of alignment and consequently a real wobble. The issue is now resolved and we have 6 perfect chairs but only after some frustrating chat bot exchanges, e mails and eventually ( hurrah ! ) one phone call with a real live human who was able to confirm that the wobbly base would be replaced. Sadly, when it arrived, the box contained 2 gold chair bases rather than one black one ! More chat bot sessions and e mails followed ( no one was there to answer the phone ) and we have finally received the correct item.
We’re still very pleased with the chairs and in terms of quality would definitely order from Where Saints Go again but it would be good if the company could review their communication processes to enable customers to get in touch more easily.

We do try wherever possible to ensure that our customers are speaking to a human however all returns have to be processed via our RMA returns platform to enable us to monitor the data and improve our services going forward. We will revisit this again and see if any improvements can be made and the user journey simplified.

Bad customer service

Received poor quality goods, two of the four items were smashed upon arrival.
Asked about a return, was told to use website which didn’t work.
Asked again and a return issue was raised.
I responded, as asked, and now, five days later, still no response.

We are sorry that the four piece dinner set arrived damaged.

We have spoken to the warehouse and asked them to ensure that going forward additional packaging is put in these packages.
Regards our failure to respond to you in a timely manner we have checked back through our records and can see no delays on our part. We advise as follows:

We can only presume that you maybe missed our last communication of the 24/01 but we can confirm that this was most certainly sent. We accept that issues do arise with deliveries from time to time but we pride ourselves on providing a great aftercare customer service and can assure you that we most definitely do not ignore customer communications.

We can confirm that we processed your full refund in the sum of £47 upon receipt of your review and email dated 29/01 and have called you to apologise and advise you of our actions. It may take however up to 7 days for the refund to reach you, depending on your bank. We trust that this matter has now been resolved to your satisfaction and send our apologies once again for any inconvenience caused.
