This is the second time I have used wild sauna, Louise is so lovely and it’s clean and an absolute delight. I love it!

Superb! Love going. The lakeside location really makes the experience, and a great opportunity to do something fun and wholesome while catching up with friends!

What a lovely afternoon spent in the wild sauna and cold plunge at six hills swim, very welcoming staff and great company of likeminded people! Would definitely come back.

Great relaxing set up, really clean and easy to get in to do your session, literally parking up, getting changed in the room right next to the facilities and you’re ready!
Been a few times now and will keep going .

From start to finish, the whole experience was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, taking the time to explain the experience clearly and show us all of the facilities. Everything felt relaxed, well organised, and genuinely cared for.

The sauna was fantastic and the cold pool was equally brilliant, the perfect contrast and such a refreshing experience. The facilities were spotless and beautifully maintained, which really added to the overall enjoyment.

An exceptional experience all round. I’d highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

A fantastic outdoor sauna, very peaceful and beautifully kept Spotlessly clean, perfectly heated, with plenty of wood provided. Absolute bliss and the perfect follow-up after a cold water swim. Laura is always on hand to help. Highly recommended.

A lovely location, rustic but with all the comforts you need. The sauna cabin had a big window and was nice and bright. The cold dip pools were filtered and temperature controlled and we were looked after really well. Was a thoroughly enjoyable hour and well worth the cost. Will be returning!

This was my first sauna experience. Laura was an absolute delight, so kind and helpful. I felt so well taken care of. The sauna was unbelievably relaxing and the only thing missing were my pjs and bed as I could have happily slept for the rest of the day.

This was my first time at the Wild Sauna here and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience, my only comment would be that we should have booked an hour rather than 30 minutes as it all went by far too quickly.

Wild sauna club have been coming to Burton farm ( our local swim lake) for around a year. Laura is a wonderful host of the sauna, and the sauna itself is beautifully appointed and clean. As a group we often book all 7 seats out to get maximum benefit. It’s a superb experience and I only wish we could do it even more often. Highly recommended.

Fabulous setup,sauna in a horsebox.Looks and feels inside like a regular small sauna but with added enhancements......a fabulous view. Carefully and unobtrusively watched over by Laura, the founder of Wild Sauna Club. If you plan it right you can swim, sauna, dip and sauna. Booked in half hour slots, so what are you waiting for, go to the website and track the saunas down as they are mobile and pop up in different swim places. Make it a swim/sauna bucket list. How many different views can you get from these saunas?!!

Great little sauna in beautiful condition and very well run by friendly owner. Lovely big window to view the outside world while you are toasty inside. Highly recommend !

It was perfect.

Great set up, I enjoyed my Sauna and Glow Swim at Burton Farm. There was good hygiene practices in place which was good as new people every half hour. Cute little hats to keep the heat in if you wanted it and the smell of wood fire made it more enjoyable than a standard sauna for me

I just had the best sauna experience of my life at Laura's Wild Sauna Club, Hermitage Works, Desborough. Laura has created something really special, that combines nature, heat, rhythm, and tradition in a way that feels both primal and healing. Using birch whisks and aroma/steam therapy in a traditional woodfired sauna, with cold plunge pools in between, resulted in an unforgettable sensory experience. I am a seasoned sauna fan, but this was something completely new and out of the ordinary.

The 2 hour session began with a gentle warm up, as you enter the sauna, the wonderful scent coming from burning logs and the warm cedarwood panelling, greets you, the natural heat embraces you. Then a new level of heat is created - water ladled onto the sauna rocks with added essential oils, whilst Laura uses a towel to waft the steam around in the traditional 'Aufguss' way. Your skin tingles as the steam hits it and your nose delights in the new scents from the essential oils (Laura used around 8 different scents/combinations throughout the 4 rounds of heat therapy.)

Then a brief cool down outside in the fresh air, before beginning the next rounds. This was where the magic began, a new experience for me - birch whisking. A new scent sensation - damp birch leaves, earthy and sharp in the most invigorating way. Laura first shakes the birch whisks, creating gentle drops of warm water hitting your skin, making you feel like you're in a warm Scandinavian rainshower. Then the ritual of rhythmically sweeping the bundles of soaked birch branches over the legs, arms and back began. The sensation is hard to describe, it's like being tapped or brushed by warm, leafy air with a hint of pressure. The warmth of the branches and the moisture from the leaves amplifies the heat from the sauna. Laura also uses the birch water to gently pour over the back of the neck. The final round includes fresh cucumber water to drink, fresh fruit to eat and cucumber slices for your face.

Me and the other participants all agreed that this was a profound, magical experience, feeling the healing power of nature and that we would all definitely do it again. Thank you.

My second trip to wild sauna at Burton Farm Fisheries. Beautiful view and calm and considerate hosting. A really wonderful experience highly recommend
