We've been sponsoring children for a l-o-n-g time. At least 37 years, as we've been married that long and sponsored children before then. We've always found World Vision to be a reliable and on-the-ball charity. They update their website and make it much easier to interact and find further info about your sponsored child. We've never found anything to go wrong, and we thoroughly trust them and their mission. Thank you, Team World Vision!

We have been sponsoring children through World Vision
for many many years. We love getting letters from our sponsored children and hearing about what they are doing, as well as getting the regular updates on the progress of our sponsored children and their communities which helps us understand the problems that they and their communities are facing. We like that World Vision helps the whole community, not just the sponsored children, in so many ways, from practical help like provision of clean water, to education, to supporting parents to set up businesses to support their families. It's also great that their work equips the community to continue these improvements themselves, so that more communities can then be helped.

It's a valuable and humbling experience to see the transformation that World Vision achieves in the lives of children and their communities. The experience is made all the more personal and impactful by learning about the life and challenges of a particular child and his or her community - it's not just about numbers.

We have been sponsoring various children in a number of countries over several years and we have seen the difference this has made to their communities. We are currently sponsoring a child in Uganda and one in Nepal and we would recommend this worthwhile sponsorship to anyone. Every child deserves the opportunity to be educated and flourish.

Pathetic, money-grabbing scheme. They are not "charitable" at all. They have no interest in helping to improve the lives of poor people, just to keep them in poverty so that world vision will continue to profit.

I've really enjoyed sponsoring a child with World Vision just knowing I've helped bring a better standard of life not just for one child but the community in which they live has warmed my heart I would definitely recommend sponsoring a child if you can it's probably the most rewarding thing I've ever done World Vision work very hard to help as many people as they can so just a few pounds or euros a month would help even more Thank you

I think it is one of the most worthwhile things I have done. I have sponsored girls and boys in my forty years of sponsorship, and the joy of receiving "letters from home" is wonderful. Would recommend it to anyone able to sponsor a child

It is very special when you receive a letter from your sponsored child. It is particularly rewarding that the aim of World Vision is to meet the needs of the community and then empower that community to continue the work that has been started. This enables the charity to move on to another community in need.

I sponsored a child 18 months ago and it is ongoing. She and her peers and community are benefitting by having access to clean water and education. Families are shown how to keep covid at bay and Health care is a priority as well as education for youngs girls so that they don't become victims of forced marriages

Very good but my message was not included on the card...very disappointing!

I arranged to buy a goat as a birthday present for a friend who had been involved with goats when she was growing up. She was thrilled by this. One note of a slight complaint - I would like more variety and better photographs for the cards.

Sometime ago we decided as a family to support a child through world vision. We have three of our own children and felt we would like to extend our parenting a little further afield. After looking into it, we felt supporting a child through world vision was perfect. It has been several years now. We regularly receive updates and pictures and are so pleased we made the commitment all those years ago. I would highly recommend anyone who feels that they would like to do something of this nature. Becoming a sponser to a child is a hugely rewarding experience and worthwhile thing to do .

World Vision is a complete package and is worthwhile as all benefit. We all have enough gifts and thus a gift that helps a third party is wonderful!
