WPJ Heating fitted my boiler a few years ago and have serviced it ever since. They have skilled engineers and provide a reliable service. They also send out reminders and the online booking process is very easy.

Very professional service, and I’m really happy that I’ve finally found reliable plumbers I can trust. I’ve been ripped off by plumbers many times in the past, so finding a company that does the job properly and professionally means a lot to me.

Recent boiler service was amazing 100% recommend. This was the 1st service after WPJ installed my boiler a year ago. There was some difficulty getting the cover off as new kitchen cupboard made it awkward to unscrew. Engineer found a way and was absolutely brilliant.

The work they did was excellent and extremely well priced. In a world of cowboys my experience over a number of times is this company can be trusted and are very good at what they do - at an extremely competitive price also. Highly recommend.

Service: Boiler Repair

Summary: Hired WPJ Heating to diagnose a faulty boiler. My experience — inaccurate diagnosis and inflated quotes — is clearly not an isolated incident, as seen in other 1-star reviews for this company.

Details:

Pricing Discrepancy: The engineer on-site quoted one price for a replacement part after looking it up on his phone, but the office subsequently quoted around an extra £100 on top of that part price, plus labour costs.

Misdiagnosis: I sought a second opinion directly from the manufacturer, Vaillant. Their technician confirmed WPJ’s diagnosis was completely wrong and wanted to replace a different part to fix the issue.

Outcome: My boiler is now working fine, and the original part WPJ claimed needed replacing is still functioning perfectly.

Conclusion: Looking at other reviews, misdiagnosis and questionable pricing seem to be a recurring pattern. Do not trust their expertise or claims.

Thank you for your response. I have emailed your team directly at the info wpjheating email address with the invoice details (Invoice Ref: 88976). Beyond the pricing discrepancies, the main concern remains the complete misdiagnosis of the fault (confirmed by Vaillant). I look forward to your written confirmation that the £144 fee for this misdiagnosis has been cancelled so we can resolve this matter.

Simply that the whole process of our boiler service went to plan.That in itself is not a given these days. We were updated on timings of engineer visit and when he came he was courteous and professional.

They came on time, fitted the showers well and left the site tidy… they are on the expensive side but do a good job

Well organised and replied with relevant costings etc.

Engineer was efficient - all in all a painless experience
