WTTB worked closely with me to produce a high quality printed product. The timings were tight and everything was finished and delivered with care.

The pricing & promptness of service was as usual first rate. Unfortunately the vinyls my prints were done on were somewhat rippled, which will likely adversely affect the display. I've not had this issue with WTTB in the past so having warned the client (& reduced the cost to them) I'll have to get away with it on this occasion since time won't allow for a possible reprint.

Excellent printer. My banner stand was damaged by courier. It was replaced and delivered next day.

Reliable consistent quality

As a reseller I always like consistency and clients happy and they never fail me. On occasion they have and they made right immediately.

Somene set up a fake account using my email address meaning they did not have to prove that they were in control of the email address they used.

This means that your data is not safe with this company.

UPDATE: Since posting this review, Where The Trade Buys got back in touch and reviewed the situation. After discussing the issue they agreed to resolve it, and the outcome has been fair and satisfactory. I appreciate them taking the time to revisit the problem and put things right.

Because of that, I’m happy to update my review. My overall experience with WTTB over the years has generally been very good, which is why I originally left a 5-star review not long before this issue arose.

I’ve used WTTB for years and until recently my experience has been very positive.

The issue related to an Illustrator PDF with layered artwork - standard trade practice. The correct print layer was visible and a secondary layer was hidden. Their online preview even showed this correctly before approval.

However, the finished job arrived with the hidden layer printed and the visible artwork missing - effectively the layer visibility had been reversed somewhere between preview and production.

I double-checked everything at my end:

All confirmed the same thing - the correct layer was visible.

At the time I felt the issue had been dismissed too quickly without a proper technical review, which was frustrating and led to this original review.

However, to their credit WTTB did come back to me after the review was posted and we were able to discuss the problem properly. The matter has now been resolved to my satisfaction.

As a trade supplier ourselves we know that occasionally things do go wrong in production workflows - what really matters is how they are handled afterwards. In this case I’m pleased that WTTB were willing to revisit the situation and reach a fair outcome.

My advice to other users would still be to flatten artwork and remove hidden layers before upload as good practice with any trade printer.

Overall, WTTB still remain a supplier I’ll continue to use for certain work.
