Terrible customer service will not let you cancel

If this product is so amazing, why is there a 30+ minute hold time to cancel future subscriptions? Why isn't there a way to cancel on their site? The fact that paying customers are being help hostage and locked into subscriptions they no longer want is ridiculous. No one ever answers the phone and their inability to provide decent customer service has already taken up too much of my time. The only way to stop them from charging me for a product that I don't want is to cancel the credit card used for the first purchase. Don't let this company take your money!

It was very hard to cancel my subscription. First I emailed and the reply was various other options none of which were "cancel." I replied that I wnated to cancel and still got another bottle in the mail.
On the website the options were "keep plan" or "skip one month" or "call" which I did. The second time I called (the first time I couldn't hold on long enough to get a person on the line) after waiting 15 minutes I got a representative who helped me cancel my plan.
They may have very good products but I would be careful about a monthly subscription.

This company has no integrity.

They give you a cancel button on the website but it wont allow you to cancel. it directs you to a phone number to call to cancel. I called at 5:20 am and hung-up after 30 minutes. they hadn't shipped my order out so I extended it to ship in July. the minute they got my email requesting to cancel they shipped the order anyway. Be careful this company has no integrity.
As far as the product goes I used the Cardio Fit for four months and never felt any difference.

Scammers, although they actually have a decent product…

They actually have a decent product (BalanceMD for me). But they don't have a "cancel subscription" option online.

Actually, they do. It asks you a couple of times if you want to pause or otherwise. When you persist, they tell you that you have to email or phone. Phone is an endless wait. They also have a chat box that does nothing but go in circles.

I suspect that they started as a decent product and either got bought out by scammers, or just became scammers.

If my credit card is charged again, this will go to the CFPB. I have already reported them to the BBB.

Update:
They have gotten back to me below, but don't recognize that their website is deliberately set up to make it impossible to cancel a subscription online. There are multiple complaints about this to the BBB.

REALLY hard to cancel subscriptions

This isn't about the quality of the product, but the behavior of the company.

I did order the bone health supplement from 1MD as a subscription. It took me longer to use all the pills, and I decided it would be cheaper to use supplements CVS, so like many others, tried to figure out how to cancel my subscription. After a lot of digging, I got it cancelled (you have to go through customer support), but not before I got another box of too many pills. I have the email from "Zee" saying: "As requested, your subscription has been successfully canceled. You will not be charged any additional automatic payments, or receive any additional product shipments." That was December 2023.

It's now March, and guess what? Another shipment sent. I'm writing another starchy email, saying I refuse to pay for stuff I don't want and didn't order.
Is this ethical business practice, 1MD?

I will update if I get any traction, but my advice is not to start a subscription with this company unless you have way too much time on your hands.

Liver MD is AMAZING

In 1996 I contracted Hep C. I was made aware of the seriousness of this virus and the damage that it could cause to my liver if I drank alcohol with this condition. Nothing was going to stop my drinking and nothing did. Alcohol was my drug of choice. At the time the only treatment for the virus was interferon. For me and many, the side effects of interferon were too much to bear. I lasted a week. My drinking continued and my liver was monitored by my gastroenterologist by blood tests, ultrasound and four biopsies over 16 years. In 2011 Novartis developed an anti-viral that killed the virus in 3 months with practically no side effects and the treatment cured my disease. My doctor informed me that my liver was likely to develop scarring if I didn't stop drinking, with the path of cirrhosis and liver cancer. I kept drinking. Along the way I heard about a protective supplement that would protect the liver and reduce hangovers, N-acetyl Cysteine. This is in Liver MD and it works. Through an online search I spotted LiverMD. I am sceptical of supplements because how do you really know if they are working? Moving forward, I started taking LiverMD two years
ago. I didn't stop drinking until recently and I had honestly given up on my liver as it was often inflamed. I had an ultrasound yesterday and the technician let me watch and ask questions. I pretty well knew my liver was scarred and fibrotic. I looked at the screen, "it's bad isn't it?". "No, it looks alright. No nodules, smooth, no scarring, some fatty liver but nothing to stress over." I was genuinely shocked. My liver was actually in good condition, although it was inflammed in the past. I can tell you right now that the only way my liver could have been protected and encouraged to regenerate was by using Liver MD for two years. There is no secret ingredient only ingredients that you can look up for their benefits. I believe Liver MD contains these supplements but at a much higher grade than normal. This is a very effective product and if you have any concerns about your liver, or wish to keep it in good condition then you must take Liver MD. It worker for me and I am amazed!

BEWARE SCAMMERS!!

BEWARE SCAMMERS!!! I received a package the other day. It was MY address BUT with someone elses name. I DID NOT order ANYTHING from this place. I googled the customers name who lives a few miles down the road from me. First off, why would that customer order something and use MY address? Second, his address is NOT even close to mine. Lastly, I looked up this company and its a scammer. I've checked my credit cards and nothing has been charged. They will be reported to all agencies!!!!

UPDATE: company emailed on trustpilot asking me for more information. Trustpilot said if i don't respond then they take down the review! There is no other information i need to post.

Separating product quality from website platform use

I have been ordering from 1MD for several years now on a six months basis and was just ordering product today. The products have worked very well for me - Biome and Liver. I notice many complaints about ordering from the website which is a technical issue and not a product quality problem. I've worked in web development and programming so I am very aware of all the backend concerns, The website could use a more user friendly platform especially for we older adults who are more likely to use these products. My suggestion is to take your time when you are on the site and know where all buttons and options are for navigating through the site. Just offering my experience. Hope this was helpful

Beware of unscrupulous business practices

I have tried multiple times to cancel my subscriptions that I did not knowingly subscribe to. I was told I had two subscriptions under different emails and both would be cancelled and I would receive a verification email. However, I never received verification and received more supplements yesterday. Again I notified them and was told they would cancel my subscription and I would receive verification, which I still have not received. I was also told I would receive return shipping labels.

I filed a complaint on the BBB and will keep positing on any social media my frustration and experience.

When I created an account on their website to purchase probiotics somehow i also subscribed to apple cider vinegar gummies which I had no interest in whatsoever!
How did this happen? I had no idea. This company also goes under multiple different names and websites. Consumers BEWARE and stay away!

1/17/24 update: The company posted this response however I received another package yesterday, 1/17 (a total of 3 packages in one week)! This response is inappropriate and again, not truthful.

1/19/24 - another update: This company's response below is untruthful. I do not have 3 emails to create 3 accounts. I do have 2 emails, and that is entirely possible. I have completed my complaint with the BBB and have been reaching out to organizations to expose their deceitfulness and discovered this company places orders with customers info. I am working with my bank now and contacted the attorney general for assistance. I am sure they are going to respond to this post with some more blah, blah, blah - but it is not truthful nor do they follow through. I am not going to react to their responses anymore, I am just a consumer trying to prevent my frustration from happening to anyone else and bring transparency to their business practices. I was diagnosed with macular degeneration. I have been using this now for 4 months and have noticed a difference in clarity and less tiredness. After taking 1 capsule/day for approximately 2 months my eyes became very comfortable.

I've reported them to the district attorney!

Yesterday, I received a bottle of "BreatheMD," which I never ordered, from 1MD Nutrition, whch I'd never heard of. My credit card company declined multiple charges (four or five---I don't remember exactly) of $40.94 to 1MD Nutrition over a one-week period.

Basically the same experience was reported in a complaint filed with the Better Business Bureau on Dec. 1, 2023. The company's response then said "this was a fraudulent order that was placed using the customers information." Really? Why would independent fraudsters be targeting the same company so often? And why would they be sending 1MD products _to the actual cardholders_??

From my own experience, and the reports here and on the BBB website, it is clear that these people are crooks. They're apparently located in Sherman Oaks, CA, so I have reported them to the Los Angeles County district attorney. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

Update after reading 1MD's reply:
My credit card company declined all of the attempted charges itself, so I don't need any refund, and will simply be throwing away the product. BTW, the company's rating with the Better Business Bureau has gone from NR (not rated) to F. Nuff said!

I have been using the Glucose MD for…

I have been using the Glucose MD for six months. Prior to using this and only dieting I couldn’t get my sugar levels below 130. After starting the Glucose MD my sugars are normally between 97 and 112. I am still staying within a strict diet. But I give this supplement a 10 for changing from a diabetic diagnosis to a pre-diabetic. My endroconologist was amazed! He told me to continue doing what I have been doing, which was taking Glucose MD!

The check out experience did not give me time to review the process, and suddenly I was subscribed for 3 months. An email notification the next day informed me that the product had been shipped. I cannot afford this product and wish to cancel my subscription. The package with the "first installment" arrived today.

Not a good company to deal with.

I ordered the cholesterol tabs once. Did not want a continuing refill. This company keeps sending me unwanted product. Canceled once and they continue to ship and bill me. They have you on hold for such a long time. I hung up after 25 minutes. I really don’t think they ever answer. If billed again I will take legal action.

Where did it say aut-ship

I didn't know I was signed up for an automatic renewal. All the auto-ships I have send a reminder well in advance of the ship date. This is not the case with 1MD. I tried to cancel the subscription and stop the shipment, but it shipped anyway. After spending 20 minutes on hold, I did reach a rep who was very pleasant. I am now waiting for an email with my detailed instructions on how to return the product.I was informed it may take up to 21 days for a refund. Also, I saw no improvement by taking this product. Stay tuned....I'll be marking my calendar to make sure I get a "timely" (ha ha) refund.
