Tow bar no visual damage but when trying to assemble day of delivery found out via manual 10mm steel manufactured in correctly instead 30/40 degrees angle 90 degrees so wouldn't marry up with chassis... Ver más

Garbage product. Bought some wide wheel arches for ford ranger in a colour match to the vehicle. The arches were poorly moulded and poorly painted. The fittings are metal so WILL scratch the paintwork and it should offer advice in the instructions to treat the areas where the clips fit to avoid rust in the future (metal slide on fixings and screws replace the PLASTIC original fittings) The arches stated compatible with original Ford mud flaps yet the flaps when installed dont cover the alloys. Really annoying and when I left 2 reviews on the website about the products which were negative, surprise, surprise they never made it onto the page and the arches still have 5 glowing 5 star reviews. Cheap tat but charging a premium at £465.60. Similar, virtually same cheaper arches on ebay for no more than £150 which are the same standard as these ones (brother has these) Buyers be very aware.

Absolute shambles of a company, to think after spending £300 for a box you would be treated correctly…. NOT! After my girlfriend purchased me a storage box for a surprise birthday present, which sadly didn’t fit , we organised a return with the company to what they agreed to refund within a week. Fast forward too today, nearly 3 months down the line…. We provided proof of postage numerous of times to which they ignored! And still no refund or communication, I can’t scream loud enough of how much you should avoid this so called company! AVOID AVOID!
We have been long serving customers of 4x4AT because of the wonderful customer service which we receive and the knowledge.
We would recommend this company to anyone who are thinking of upgrading to contact them. Saturday the 13/4/24 was our last visit to have a winch fitted and it won't be long before we are back for more work.
Must be good we travel 2 hours to get the work done, A big thankyou to Scott who looked after us on Saturday.
Great service..... bought drawer system from Rob who gave great advice and then went to the Coleshill fitting centre for another issue experienced with my canopy and fitting some roof bars... Ben carried this out very efficiently. Also had a nice couple of hours in Coleshill town just a small cab ride away whilst waiting - thanks guys!

I recently bought a Ranger 23. I wanted some wheels and a canopy for it. Having done some research I came across 4x4. When I first called them I was dealt with very well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I booked my pick up in to have the bits fitted. When I arrived I was welcomed in a warm manner. They took my keys made me a coffee and started work on it. I’m so happy with the look and functionality of the canopy and my wheels are ace!! Thanks everyone at 4x4!!!
Avoid this company is my advice. Based on my experience of buying a canopy and tailgate lock, I would never use this company again. Too many issues to go into here but the vehicle had to be returned as the canopy was not fitted properly, the bed liner was cut with tie down points lost, the tailgate lock was not wired in correctly, and the canopy itself did not meet my needs (requirements communicated to them before purchase). I've been patient with them and have tried to assist them in seeing where things went wrong but without any meaningful success.
I can see many similar complaints on here and wish I'd read them before buying anything from them.
Hi , I have been trying to get a refund from this company for more than 6 months for a Toyota part they could not deliver , I have just been fobbed off , has anyone else had the same trouble,
They supplied a poor quality and damaged pick-up back cover.
It has manufacturer faults and stress cracks.
Chips from either poor paint job or damage in transit.
I tried to contact them to resolve this but that have stated it was signed for so I have no rights for a refund.
I'm their t&cs it states must only be delivered to my address and signed for.
It was neither delivered to my address for signed for by any member of my family.
I have had to contact my bank to raise a fraud case and trading standards.

I live in USA, Scott was so helpful in arranging all shipping details to the USA where I was able to retrieve the lamps and kits.
Always helpful and responded promptly to my inquiries.

Nothing is ever a problem for the lads, especially james in sales. Always finds the answers to queries sharpish, the company is lucky to have such a belter on board doing his job to the next level!

Cracking service from start to finish... ordered parts, booked fitting, arrived, parts fitted within the given timescale, very helpful and friendly!
Had to return tyres that were too big, they were helpful and promptly refunded me … honourable company to do business with
The product sent to me wasn’t quite right. I ordered LED lights and although the design looked good the brake light, indicator, reverse light and fog light are the same level as the main light where they should be considerably brighter. They are also very dark for a smoked light and there’s no reflector making them illegal for the road unless you have a reflector elsewhere (my truck does not as the reflector is built into the light) Non of which was stated in the advert for the item or in the further info section on the website.
To be fair to 4x4at they were very good at replying in the first instance, they let me know that they hadn’t had any complaints so far with the item but that I was more than welcome to return the lights and how to do so - This was as good as the refund process was going to get!!
Off I went to the post office to send my parcel back to 4x4at! I sent it tracked parcel force at my own expense (how do we foot the bill for an item not fit for purpose?) and they received it a few days later (picture evidence thanks to parcel force) so I waited… and waited… and waited and waited a little more before I got a tad frustrated and decided it’d been way too long since the item reached them for there to be no response or payment made!! I emailed Scott again (he had helped me before with a canopy they sold and was very good) Scott’s reply was that he had been on holiday and would check what was going on and that Christmas was slowing down refunds - pleas be patient. Thank you Scott - I’ll await your reply!!
No response from Scott so I emailed again - this time I said that I’d dispute through PayPal if it wasn’t resolved as it’s been nearly a month since they had received the item. Scott told me not to dispute as it would take longer and that the refund had been made but he would check with accounts as to why the money hadn’t been paid!!
Ive just disputed the payment with PayPal as I’m sure you won’t be surprised to hear that he didn’t get back to me and I haven’t received the money!
It’ll be two months on the 6th of Feb since they received the parcel and over two months since I first requested a refund! I feel that two months is stretching the Christmas period a little too far for their own gain!
Please exercise caution with this company - they seem great initially when you’re giving them the money, but if you’re trying to get it back things get a little frustrating!
Update!!
Scott has apologised as it was a long time to wait. He explains he’s tried his best to sort the refund but there are other factors involved out of his control. The refund has been processed today and I have a message from PayPal to confirm this is happening and may take 5 days. It’s a shame it came to this but I’m pleased with the resolve.

Today 4x4 keep reporting my review asking for more information through trustpilot, hoping that if I don’t reply within 3 days that my truthful review gets removed!!!
Buckle up buttercups this is not going to happen until you refund me in full for the outstanding monies owed through your incompetent staff!!!!!

We did inform you the pickup was being returned immediately to Toyota! I want my full money back as you damaged our Hilux!!
Faulty Canopy, Very Incompetent Staff!! #STAYCLEAR
We purchased a new Hilux Invincible x and decided to have a canopy fitted by this dreadful company! We have had nothing but trouble with the electrics on the central locking system on the canopy and on a closer look the vehicle had a lot of scratches and scuffs on the pickup back, we reported this to them immediately to be told that they would fit the next canopy for free! However this damage was to our new Hilux and were obviously not very happy!
My husband had to take the pickup back and asked for the back to be removed, Laura advised this would be ok as we explained that the vehicle was been returned to Toyota due to electric issues that started from the day the canopy was fitted.
The canopy was removed however the liner (I think that's what it's called) was left in pickup at the time of the return to Toyota apparently!! Laura has only issued a partial refund less £461.13p when the full order was £2,748.46!!!!
Emails below to ask what the £461.13p outstanding refund is for? I don't think this is a difficult question?

I have had numerous conversations with Laura who would do so much better in her role if she actually listened to her customers and understood the consumer rights act.
Can someone just read the emails that my husband James sent to your company regarding the faults when the canopy was fitted, everything that was fitted wasn’t fit for purpose and by law we are entitled to a full refund.
If you haven’t refunded us for the canopy liner I suggest you do so as this order was faulty from the day of fitting.
I will call to chase this refund on Tuesday, but would like you to confirm by email why you are withholding our outstanding money?
I just got back from having a winch and a snorkel added to my Ranger Raptor and I have to say what a great experience. The welcome from Rob was wonderful and professional, but the star of the show was Richard who fitted it all. Superb job and Richard even sold me a light system and fitted in the time he had left as he had some time left on the job I had booked. Highly recommend and thank you to all. I will be back for more!
What a fantastic place for anyone wishing to update / upgrade their 4x4, everything from start to finish was trouble and stress free especially with the help of Rob who advised me over the phone and a welcoming smile on arrival to Richard who did the work on my vehicle to a top class standard can’t thank them both enough 😜👍
