Amy Maratto was knowledgeable and friendly. Answered all my questions and made very helpful suggestions for me. Only annoyance was the number of automated steps required to get to a person. The services provided by AAFMAA are exactly what I want now and for my family.

Saved me from making a big mistake

AFMA (Megan) called me to ask if I wanted my original documents returned to me, because AFMA has digitized them and no longer needs them. Upon learning that I did want them back, she arranged for them to be shipped to me via FedEx. Her conversation was clear, concise, unrushed, professional, friendly and respectful. The documents arrived in 3 days in perfect condition.

I asked for a copy of my spouse's birth certificate which I had put in the AAFMAA vault 50 years ago. Megan had it sent to my wife within 2 hours of opening Monday morning. Much quicker than my State's Vital Records section that would have cost $12 and an in-person visit. Great service. Good people.
