Abakhan Fabrics, Hobby & Home Opiniones 

I make a lot of my clothes using fabrics from Abakhan. The fabric is usually super high quality. I often don't have to finish the seams (with the jersey), I can wash in the machine and don't need to iron. I am not a professional and know very little about sewing and fabric but I can use a machine so I really enjoy experimenting with the different fabrics I buy from the remnants dept and in the sales. I have learned what works for me and I get complements about my clothes, sometimes after years of wearing them.

Never got my order. Had to contact them to ask why. Was then told they could not fill the order. Why did they not contact me or say at the start they they could not fill the order. Refunded no problem. Contacted them to ask why they didn't let me know- still waiting for a reply.

I placed an order that qualified for free delivery, but I chose to pay for next day delivery to get my items quicker. After several days, I received an email from Paypal informing me that my account had been credited for a partial delivery refund and a refund for some fabric. No parcel had yet arrived. A few days later I received an email from Abakhan with a delivery tracking number, which did not work, so I contacted customer services. Eventually my parcel did arrive, but at no point did Abakhan apologise, and the level of uncertainty for so many days made me feel like I might have made a purchase from a scam website. It was very odd. A heads up that my parcel was late would have very much been appreciated. My delivery charge was fully refunded, since my order had qualified for free delivery, but I had to ask for that to happen. It was weird.

A haberdashery item arrived slightly damaged. I emailed Abakhan and they immediately replaced the item with no fuss. Excellent service as always.

My order arrived well within the time. Good quality fabric for an even better price. Lovely bright colours. I am more than happy with my order and will certainly be using this seller again in the future.

Ordered sample of fabric at a cost, payment was refunded & sample never arrived nor did an explanation!

Loads of products available online, easy to order, good prices, speedy delivery.

Placed online order for 4 items, a week later still waiting for delivery, but instead get an email to say one item has been refunded.
2 days later the other 3 items arrive, no email to show tracking or even dispatched, web site simply said completed. I sent an email asking when delivery was due and they did not reply.
Waste of time and do not ship in the time frame they offer poor comms. will not order again from here.

Fast delivery, great prices super quality fabrics. Bought two 2m remnants. The first has been used to make 5 syringe drivers bags for cancer patients and I loved sewing the fab quality French print fabric. I am still pondering what I can make with the second piece. At these prices I can afford to stock up for future projects.

Was surprised at price of sewing machine and reluctant to order as no prior experience with this company. All good and delighted with speedy service!

Plain Cotten Winceyette Fabric in both Red and Black both are a nice quality/weight which was also cut straight, arrives nicely folded and quickly. recommend.

Great choice of good valuefabrics and craft accessories-I felt a bit like a kid in a sweetie shop! The company was prompt with e mails, and I was kept well informed throughout the process (and credited when a fabric sample was no longer available). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the range, value for money and the customer service to anyone. Keep up the good work 😄

I like shopping at Abakhan as there is a good variety of fabrics and colours.Also the fabrics are good quality.The delivery is fast and the postage is very good.

I recently purchased some bits and pieces including webbing and d rings and some rectangular rings. Unfortunately the d ring i bought were the wrong size so I returned to make a simple exchange for the correct size. I was told sorry this is against our policy stating several items including items bought by the meter. I asked if she was joking as it is impossible to buy d rings by the meter. As I required the correct size I picked up some rectangular rings as they did not have the size d rings I needed. When I returned to the till I asked the manager to show me the return policy. There is a print out next to the till which states: Any item bought by the meter any bridal headsets any item with a security tag that is broken and one other item which I can't remember. No mention of d rings or anything of that nature. So I read the policy details to the assistant who said she would as a one off allow me to exchange the two items. The new rings were 90p more expensive which I was happy to pay but they have a card only system so I paid my 90p by card and left. Maybe a little customer care training required or a clear understanding of the company policies a must.

Served by Sasha at the Preston store today. Despite the challenges I presented her with, she was very patient, cheerful and polite.
