Data entry position at Adecco

I applied for a data entry position on Facebook and got through to Rose Anderson (if that's her real name). She said the company name was Adecco. I was given an assignment. Once completed I submitted to Adecco on the email. I was told I need to pay $60 upfront to get my money.

It’s got to be one of the absolute…

It’s got to be one of the absolute worst experiences with any company.
They are incredibly disorganised and one of them companies that could not care less about their employees.
I got work offered at The N&N hospital in Norwich as grounds maintenance operative.
I had to pay for my DBS, any company that cares about their employees would do that, they could at least do the initial
payment, and then deduct from the employees Warnes, but they don’t.
Already there, I know this is one of them companies who does NOT care about their employees.
Then, I had to wait for my safety boots to arrive in order to arrive, before I could start working.
Adecco had not been communicating with the grounds maintenance supervisor about this. I was told to go start a certain day, I went there, cycled over 5 miles to be there at 6am. Just to be met with an incredibly rude and grumpy grounds maintenance supervisor, he has angry over that Adecco, had NOT told him, that I would start that day, also because my boots had still not arrived, so I could not start that day.
Incredibly disorganised of Adecco.
If they had communicated that I would start that day, then the supervisor would have said no, not yet, her boots have not arrived.
So, I had to go back home, a wasted journey, and on top of it, this rude grumpy man, starting to say weird things that I should be more organised and why I hadn’t brought my rain clothes?!…
It was a sunny day, rain was not forecast, and I had NOT been disorganised at all, I had done what was asked of me, show up for work.
So, the supervisor on site, his weird rude behaviour on top of it.
When I then took all this up with Adecco, they just said that they had no idea, why he had not been informed, about me starting to work that day.
Very disorganised and unprofessional the whole thing.

Adecco are super pedantic and demanding about you the employee being exact and precise with everything, and I have never been through such a neurotic pedantic questioning regarding my previous jobs.
This was done over the phone.
Them expecting to know EXACTLY when you started and finished the job, and if there were ANY discrepancies, then you would not get the job, or the job would be cancelled.
Many people have many different jobs and a lot happen in 3 years. If the employer put another date down than yours, and then you don’t have the job anymore.
That system is so stupid and robotic and completely nonsensical.

Adecco demands 200% pedantic perfection from their employees and expect them to answer the most silly nonsensical questions to perfection, yet they, don’t bother to show any respect, care or professionalism about you, such as informing the client about your start date.
Adecco is one of the companies who work, their employees to the ground, if they can get away with it, this is what I hear from others who have worked there, and they could not care less about the employees.
Yet they have a “line” set up for you, for your wellbeing, as they say, but in reality, it is just to check up on you, and not there to help you the employee with anything.
They only serve themselves.
I also keep getting text messages from them everyday, about stuff they want me to fill out, even though it is 3 weeks ago, I said, I am NOT going to work for them, they still send me texts, so disorganised.
I would say steer clear of Adecco, they reek of zero respect or care for employees and 100% invested in themselves and the client.

Best start your own business.
