Good quality install

Moving into an older house the existing door was too modern and made the hallway very dark . It took me a time to decide a style and colour. While it was being manufactured I was kept informed.
The fitter Paul arrived, he was very meticulous , clean and tidy and did an excellent job. I would recommend AGS.

Had a new door fitted today by a lovely gentleman called Paul, polite, perfect job done, very please with service all round from AGS windows

Great team of workers (2) to carry out a total replacement of windows and doors to our home. The works were carried out to an excellent standard of professionalism, humour and respect to ourselves and the property. Completed within the time frame, all mess and waste removed, leaving very satisfied customers. Well done AGS we recommend you.

Paul came around a did a fantastic job. Kept the area clean and tidy as he was going along and also left the area clean when he left. Good work ethic. Explained a whole load of stuff as he was going along and then how to maintain the product in the future. Thanks Paul.

Ags done it again , from the initial contact to AGS for our latest project 6 windows front of house, speedily response from sales rep to surveyor on getting next project up and running.
It's also been great to have the same friendly dealings with office staff who have been very informative along the way from start to finish.
Installation day . Our fitters Terry & Bob worked as a precise team at great meticulous pace under very wet conditions and the final result was brilliant , just what we have experienced before , that's why our first port of call for this type of project is AGS first and foremost.

Quoted 8-10 weeks to fit- took 4 months. They ordered the wrong size windows, that took a month to rectify after trying to get the window fitters to bodge them in but they refused. They left my kids upstairs windows mismatched to the rest of the windows and not sealed from the outside for a month with no window locks despite me telling them that my son had fallen from a window and locks were essential. Had to keep covering furniture, moving furniture and taking down blinds etc for no shows after I had rearranged my work too. All the time told I will get compensation and at the end them when completed told me no. If I could rate them zero stars I would.

Fabulous experience from start to finish. Regular communication from AGS. The installer (Paul Kwidzinski) was very efficient, friendly & helpful. He even provided a dust sheet to put over our new door to protect it whilst others were cleaning our driveway with chemicals. Would definitely recommend. Thanks!

Double glazed kitchen windows and adjoining door fitted by AGS 2016. The door 'dropped' making it difficult to close. The pressure on the adjoining inner window pane caused it to shatter.
I emailed AGS via the facilty on their website to ask
1. Were the windows still within guarantee
2. Whether they were or not, would they contact me to arrange a visit as I needed the window replaced.
There was no response.
Secondly, I sent a letter and a photo of the shattered window in situ. There was no response.
Thirdly, I rang AGS aftersales and left a voice message as they were busy. There was no response.
I have now had a private contractor replace the window. The unit had been incorrectly fitted. The bottom of the unit had been secured on both sides but not in the middle causing the alignment plate to bulge upwards putting pressure on the pane.
In the light of the above comments I cannot recommend AGS workmanship and so called 'after sales care' does not appear to exist despite being a section on their website.

I have just had two sets of new patio doors fitted by Terry & Bob. They were very polite & cheerful and completed the job quickly & efficiently. I’m now looking forward to some warm weather so that I can go out & enjoy sitting out in the sun on my patio.I would certainly recommend AGS windows to family & friends.

The experience from start to finish was 1st class even after a year of saving the price was very competitive
Appointments were arranged and no problems
The fitters certainly knew there job 2.5 days was done in 1.5 days
Good job all round would certainly use again if needed to

I cannot start to say how impressed I am with the door installation; excellent job
Also, Paul the fitter checked and adjusted the existing front door
Shall definitely go to them again

Highly recommended. The service was excellent from the initial quote to the installation. The customer service staff kept in touch every step of the way. The door arrived exactly as we had ordered it and we love the quality of the finish. The icing on the cake was our installer Paul Kwidzinski. He arrived 15 minutes early but waited outside and knocked at exactly the time we arranged. He was friendly and professional, and very kind and patient with our two year old, who was fascinated. He even spotted that our coat hook screws needed tightening up and did it for us without being asked. It's little things like this which really set companies apart in their customer service and we were so impressed. And we have a lovely new front door!

Mark Yardley has just fitted 2 new doors and a new window, very tricky job as it’s a very old cottage and he has done a wonderful job 🙂

Shocking Installation. I would not recommend this company. After sales poor.

Terrible they were terrible patio doors I wish I had gone to the local baker he would have done a better job,customer service terrible,we were going to have another 6 windows fitted,not by these,before you buy ask for the photos from me,we have had two independent window people out,they recommend have them taken out,and replaced,solicitor’s dealing with it .

Had all windows in two succesive houses replaced by this company when they were locally owned. Good aftercare service. Had a conservatory installed by them after they were bought out by Britania but after 8 years there are multiple issues. They will not stand by the 10 year warranty saying it is building work issues which the small print says is covered for 1 year. Beware of the small print. They are simply trading off the previous good reputation of AGS and are not the same company.
