The guys that picked up my things and delivered to new address were the nicest big guys you could meet. They treated my furniture as if it was their own and really polite big blokes. Nothing was too much work for them and one guy even shook my hand as they left. I can’t remember having such a great experience with removal men.

Excellent time keeping and extremely likeable! Kept us up to date all the way through with texts and phone calls letting us know when they were setting off and arriving. Went above and beyond getting things out of our old house and into the new one. Even though Javaid received the very sad news during the move that one of his family members had sadly passed away they still continued and completed our move in a professional manner. Could not fault them in any way. Would highly recommend!

They are great. Easy to book - a few days in advance and they’ll fit you in. Prices are fair. Drivers are efficient and smart. They know what they are doing. Will definitely use them again!

The company notified us the day before and on the day. Was able to track. Timing and delivery driver were excellent. Would definitely recommend.

This was one of the best decisions we made when preparing for our move. From start to finish, everything was excellent. Sasha went above and beyond to ensure the move was seamless and hassle-free for us.The team who came to pack and transport our belongings were extremely helpful and professional throughout. They took great care with all of our items, and everything arrived safely with nothing missing or damaged.When we arrived at our new home, everything was already in place: beds assembled, the couch positioned, almost as if the layout from our previous house had been perfectly recreated.The whole process was smooth and completely stress-free.

On time, did their the job well. I had to pay for some add ons, as I was very stressed when I booked due to let down by another mover and I missed off a couple of items so do be specific or you end up with more cost.

Efficient collection and delivery.The driver and additional person were careful with my household items.They were pragmatic about the (pre-warned) narrow hallway from ground to first floor. I did find the checklist for booking confusing as it listed major household items like wardrobes, bookshelves, bed, etc. but to add books, clothes and other items, I needed to search.

The men were exceptionally nice, looked after my furniture and were just great in every way!Highly recommend.And the cost was so cheap.There is nothing bad to say about them

Absolutely useless. Quite possibly the worst service of any company I have ever used. Constantly ignored my calls and messages. Tried to change the date and time of pick up and delivery dates multiple times, including the day before the newly agreed upon time. The entire process was extremely anxiety inducing. Do not use this removal company, they are beyond rubbish.

What an atrocious experience with this company. Terrible communication, did not get in touch with me for weeks! Despite numerous calls, texts and emails. I had a tenant moving in on a specific date and wanted confirmation with the company that the move was going ahead. I heard absolutely nothing, I was completely ghosted. Anxieties grew and I ultimately didn't trust this company to do the job and cancelled the job request 3 days prior to the 'agreed date.' Still did not hear from them. The day before the 'agreed date,' that's when they decided to contact me to confirm the time of the move for the next day. Absolutely not, I was not having this. At this point I had already found a trusted transport provider to do the move instead. I emailed them for a 4th time to say the move had been cancelled days ago, to which they replied that they had received no contact from me and since I was informing them a day before the move, I needed to pay a £200 cancellation fee!! I was quite honestly gobsmacked. I screenshot all call logs, emails and WhatsApp messages to AJMovers detailing me trying to get into contact with them and also showing that I cancelled the move 3 days prior, to which I also left a voicemail to their company number. I sent all my proof to them and outlined I am not liable to pay a cancellation fee when they were informed well in advance. And would you look what happened... Never heard from them again.
A complete scam of a company. I wish I had done more research before booking with them. I've heard much worse now that I've looked into them and I'm so glad they didn't do my move.
I would avoid at all cost. Save your money. There are other companies more professional, honest and reliable than AJMovers. Never again.

The deposit was with Anyvan, yes, I didnt say the deposit was with AJmovers as per the original review. The original deposit has nothing to do with AJmovers but with Anyvan so is why i ommited this from this review.
Anyvan will put you in contact with a moving company like AJMovers providing you a contact in their business. I had already lost the deposit with Anyvan which was a cost i had to absorb regardless.

The £200 cancellation fee was imposed by AJmovers IN ADDITION, even though there was zero comms from them at all, no answers to our questions, nothing to indicate this was going ahead at all until the day before. But surprisingly very responsive to a negative review.

Could an adequate moving service have been provided? Possibly. Not to make excuses for this company, but you can only go off initial impressions, wheather its just their admin team or the contact Anyvan put us in touch with (even if they didn't respond). They represent the company and I can only attest to my personal experience. Good luck to those using this company. At best it could be a dice roll. At worst, well just read the other negative reviews.

I have used AJ Movers on three occasions—once for an international move from Germany to the UK, and twice for moves within the UK. I have always found them reliable and hardworking. In addition to handling the move itself, they helped assemble new flat‑pack furniture and dispose of unwanted items. Their pricing has been very reasonable.

One recommendation is to ensure the inventory list is accurate in advance—the number of boxes, which furniture needs assembling or dismantling, and what should be disposed of. This helps avoid any confusion on the day. I would certainly recommend AJ Movers.

AJ Movers did a great job moving our furniture. They were very professional, quick, efficient, careful, and friendly. They were also very fit and able to carry some very heavy items. We would happily recommend them for house moves.

I called this company really last minute (Friday at 4pm for moving Monday morning). They were absolutely brilliant, professional, efficient, dismantled and reassembled the bed and the sofa. It was a really stressful day but they were calm and cleared the house within an hour and a half and happily waited until my keys were available. I hope never to move again but if I were to I would use this company in a heart beat.
