A shame the courier took so long to deliver

I was unable to complete the order online so rang the office to place it. It became apparent during this conversation that I would have to pay for the whole order up front before they would accept it. Thats fine, I had orderd from them before. Then I was advised that the stock would be leaving Sweden on 2 April so my delivery would be shortly after that. This is for 160 chairs so I needed to know when they were coming to get the old ones out of the way, and arrange physical help to get them in the building. By 8 April I had had no contact so I emailed to check what was happening, I was told "The goods are with our transport Pallex who will contact you 09/04 to arrange delivery"
I had no contact on 9 April. On 10 April I received a copy of the invoice, with no explanation, so I replied to that asking when I could expect delivery. I was emailed within the hour that delivery was arranged for Weds 15 April (no consultation with me!) and the carrier would be in touch nearer the day to arrange ETA. We therefore arranged to dispose of our old chairs in order to make space for the arrival. We also arranged a team of volunteers to come and help get the chairs unpacked and in position in the building. Imagine how dismayed we were when, on ringing to find out the delivery time, we were told that it would "probably be tomorrow". We had to rearrange everything and then the next morning were told again, it might not be today. We had 2 parties booked for the weekend and people need to sit on something! Stern words were had and we were eventually promised delivery on Thursday 16 April before 4pm. the driver arrived at ten to 4 and our team helped him unload; he was single-handed so we would never have coped if we hadnt had our team there. To say we were disappointed with the delivery aspect is a major understatement as you can imagine.

Pleased with item purchased, even though it took a long time to deliver it. Along with the aluminium box, I also purchased a padlock, as the description of the box said the padlock could provide extra protection. When the box arrived, I was disappointed to see that the only way a padlock could be used was to fit a clasp myself. This could have been made clearer in the item description.

We ordered a set of 4 office chairs to see if they were a suitable replacement for similar at our village hall. The chairs seem to be very comfortable and sturdy and stack well with our existing chairs which we are going to gradually replace as they come to the end of their life. We have ordered another 16 and hope to replace 20 each year.

We ordered a large board table. The product was delivered on time and is great quality. The customer service was also excellent.

AJ Products Service Staff are friendly, excellent and made ordering for the small charity I run easy and simple. After-sales service was very good when we had a minor issue, which was dealt with very quickly.
