They have great customer service and great communication via email to let you know what’s happening and if there is an issue. Plus they always put in an extra gift. They are awesome.

✨️A privately owned and operated pet toy business, focusing on parrot toys and bird cage accessories. ✨️We have foraging puzzles for cats, dogs and other pets too. ✨️After more than 12 years, Animal Enrichment Australia is still run by the same passionate Veterinary Nurse. With years of experience in both general and avian-focused veterinary practice, as well as caring for her own beloved flock of birds, Kirsty is knowledgeable and careful when it comes to toy safety for your beloved pets. ✨️Based on the northside of Brisbane and posting all around Australia, to New Zealand and even further abroad, it's easy to spoil your birds or furry friends with the handy filters for Parrot species and other categories in the online store. ✨️Be sure to check out the Aussie Handmade parrot toys section via the 'handy tags' at the bottom of each web page. As well as supporting local business, that section of products is free from any metals that are not stainless steel (ie they either contain stainless steel hardware or no metal at all). ✨️You're always welcome to get in touch via email or Facebook message if you have any questions about what products will be best for your pets. ✨️As a primarily online store, an address is not published. Pick up is available for those who live locally - just choose the option at checkout (after you enter your postcode within the region) and get in touch to arrange a time. ✨️For postage orders, Australia Post-specific options exist or an (often cheaper) courier option is available, which normally utilises Aramex for metro areas of Australia.

Thanks for the prompt
Thanks for the prompt, efficient delivery. All the products are exceptional quality and bird safe. Indie particularly loves the natural filled foraging bin and is working on learning how to use the other toys.

Thank you Lisa for your beautiful review and being such a good bird Mum to the very lucky Indie. It's great to see how much she enjoyed the Foraging Bin filled with safely cleaned natural pods. Only the safest and best quality goodies for our previous babies.

The best bird toys out there
The best bird toys out there, and Kirsty goes the extra mile making sure they’re safe. My parrot won’t eat gumnuts from anywhere but Animal Enrichment.

Only the best for Mitch and Ruby!! They're some of my favourite little Gumnut connoisseurs and I'm so glad you and they appreciate my care at cleaning and sanitising their natural pods for their safety.

Animal Enrichment is Awesome!
Super quick delivery, great communication, awesome list of bird toys, and bird food, plus a bonus gift for large orders and direct bank payments! Plus some nice personal touches included, like a handwritten note, and using a recycled package. I’ve been buying things from Animal Enrichment for years, and it’s always been fantastic, highly recommend.

Brett, thank you so much for your kind review. It's been so lovely providing your flock with their pellets/toy requirements for the last 5+ years and I look forward to continuing to impress.
I'm so glad to hear that you appreciate my environmentally-friendly packaging too - that's something that's very important to me and it's lovely to know it's appreciated by you too.
I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

It's always a pleasure providing you and your gorgeous boy, Patrick with safe and enjoyable products. We know how important it is for birds to have access to cleaned, natural items for chewing enrichment, which is why we sanitise all the natural goodies with bird-safe veterinary disinfectant (F10, the same that the veterinary specialists use).
Thanks so much for your lovely feedback Kaz.
I emailed Animal Enrichment Australia…
I emailed Animal Enrichment Australia and Kirsty was very helpful and explained about the seagrass mats as I was concerned about them having contaminants, but Kirsty was honest. My order arrived in a good timeframe, and the instructions for pick up were followed. Postage was a bit expensive as I am rural. But I will definitely buy from Kirsty again 😊

Thank you, we appreciate your time to leave this lovely review and for putting so much care into ensuring your bird has safe products. Unlike other businesses who use seagrass mats for bird items, I wash the seagrass mats in F10 veterinary disinfectant, which is bird-safe. It's what the avian/exotics vet use to clean cages, food bowls and everything in their clinics, to make them as safe as can be :)
Let's chat next time about postage, as we can get the rural postage cheaper by working with Australia Posts' cubic weight brackets. It was the combination of heavy pellets and bulky seagrass mats in your order that prevented me from getting the postage cheaper for you.

I have been buying products from Animal Enrichment Australia for years. I have an Eclectus parrot and hate the rubbish that is offered in pet shops etc. Everything I could possibly want for my bird is available and being all natural and Australian is a big tick for me. I also love that I’m supporting a small business. Highly recommend and I will continue to only shop here for my bird.

I found Animal Enrichment Australia when trying to source something I couldn't get in New Zealand. Their service has been so consistently excellent that I haven't checked whether I can get the products closer to home yet. They have a great variety of products with very reliable quality standards. Kirsty is very knowledgeable and the website is full of great tips to match the right products for your size pet/s. Highly recommend for products and for service :)

Thanks Mikayla, your feedback means a lot to me, especially regarding my handmade bird toy designs. I am very careful when it comes to safety and quality in my toys and I guess that's a big part of the reason many avian vets recommend my business. Thanks so much for your review! We’re really glad you love the Sola plant products, our birds love them too!
We understand price is an important factor and we’re always working to offer the best value possible, which is why we also have 'bulk' 25 packs of Sola Stems available at a discounted price.
We also refrain from regular price increases, only changing the price when absolutely necessary. The main item in your order has not had a price increase in 3.5 years, while the other item you ordered has only gone up 30c in that time, which we think is pretty great :)
Did you know that the postage price for small, light items is a flat rate, regardless of how many you purchase? At the moment that price is $11.15, which is what Australia Post charge for a 500 gram parcel. When the parcel only weighs 100 grams like yours did, it can seem like not as good value, but when you stock up on a larger supply of Sola goodies, you can make the postage work better for you :) I even cover the extra postage cost if the parcel goes over 500 grams.
You can see all the applicable 'small, light' items in this handy section: https://www.animalenrichmentaustralia.com/product-tag/light/
Thanks again for taking the time to share your feedback and I look forward to fulfilling your pets' chewing needs in the future.
As always, feel free to reach out if I can be of assistance. I'd be happy to help make a pack that works best for you.
