We’ve been a customer of Apogee for over 15 years, so we’ve experienced the full journey, both before and after the HP takeover. The difference between “old Apogee” and the company as it is today is night and day.
Before HP stepped in, our experience was hit and miss. A few “bad apple” salespeople seemed more focused on profit than genuinely supporting us, which caused a lot of frustration.
Since the HP acquisition, however, Apogee has changed in a completely different and much more positive direction. They’ve gone from simply being a photocopier provider to becoming a trusted business partner who can support us across full MSP services, not just print… And the biggest reason we’ve felt that shift is because of our account manager Paul Cooper.
Paul is everything we want in a supplier. He’s honest, straightforward, and genuinely committed to doing what’s best for us. He took the time to understand how we operate, resolved problems that had been hanging around for years, and negotiated a contract that finally put us in a stronger, more sensible position.
What really sets Paul apart is his integrity. He often suggests improvements we could make to our operations… even when those improvements don’t benefit him at all. That level of transparency and customer first thinking is incredibly rare.
He also brings a personal touch that you simply don’t see anymore. He knows everyone here by name, remembers the small things, and genuinely cares. A perfect example: he brought Karen fresh eggs from his own chickens for her birthday. A small gesture, but one that perfectly reflects the kind of person he is.
We also want to highlight Peter, our local engineer, who has been outstanding year after year, and is often on site the same day a service call is raised. Between Paul and Peter, we feel genuinely supported. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they both consistently go above and beyond.
Apogee hasn’t always been perfect, but Paul and Peter have completely transformed our experience. They’re the reason we stayed, the reason we renewed, and the reason we now feel like valued customers rather than just an account on a spreadsheet.
Highly recommended.

Matt responded quickly to our request for support with an unusual error with our printer. He was polite and professional, resolving the issue and taking time to check both this printer and another one which we mentioned had a problem, which was greatly appreciated.
