Extremely poor customer service

Extremely poor customer service. Ordered a product for delivery on Saturday. Received a message about problems in my area instead of the promised 1-hour delivery slot. From there on it all went downhill - promised replacement, had to chase them advised it will be after 48 jours when ill receive updates. Asked dor refund instead and was told it will be added to investigation and updates within 48 hours. I only asked for refund so can ho into store to purchase as I need the product. Useless support

⭐️ My experience with Apple Account…

⭐️ My experience with Apple Account recovery — extremely disappointing

I have used Apple products for years, but my recent experience with Apple Account recovery has completely changed my opinion of the company.

I had a problem accessing my Apple Account after an issue with my iPhone passcode. What followed was incredibly stressful and, in my opinion, completely disproportionate to the problem.

I was faced with a recovery process that could potentially leave me waiting for a two weeks or even longer before I could regain proper access to my own account and device, including that device already being cleaned by Apple staff and no data left on the phone i still can't use my IPhone. During this time, I was effectively locked out of important information and services connected to my phone.

What I find particularly difficult to understand is that there seems to be no sensible way for Apple to establish that a genuine customer is the owner and resolve the situation promptly. I was able to resolve access to my bank accounts — containing my actual savings and finances — much more quickly through proper security procedures. Yet accessing my Apple Account became an extremely long and complicated process.

I completely understand the need for strong security and protection against hackers. Security is important. But security should not mean abandoning genuine customers to a recovery process that can take days or weeks with very little practical help.

Apple needs to seriously review and improve this system.

There should be a secure but realistic way for a genuine customer to prove their identity and regain access to their own Apple Account without being left in limbo for such a long period.

I don't blame the ordinary staff members who tried to help me. My criticism is directed at the system and the recovery process itself.

Apple is one of the world's biggest technology companies. I honestly expected much better.
Will never buy Apple again.

Apple is not what it used to be

Apple is not what it used to be. Went to the Reading store, staff standing around talking ignoring customers. Asked if anyone could help us purchase two Apple Watches, told come back in afternoon, we are very busy! Called back in afternoon, what we wanted isn’t in stock, so have to order online. Here’s were the real fun starts. Setup the order using Apple account credits with the balance on a credit card. The Apple app decides it will charge everything to the card and ignore applying the account credits! Tried calling Apple support and the only option is that Apple will cancel the order and get it returned to their distribution centre from the shipper (I’ll receive nothing), once they get it back from their shipper they’ll refund my card and I can resubmit the order. What a💩show! Other companies would apply the account credit to the order and issue a partial refund to the card…it’s not the Apple that it used to be…

I am struggling to put into words just how bad Apple support has become. They are rude, arrogant and utterly ineffectual. They have no power to do anything and just hide behind “processes” and arbitrary timeframes that make no sense to anyone other than themselves. In the THREE days of simply trying to recover my daughter’s password I have been told by Apple staff that they “sit above all other companies and have nothing to learn from anyone else” and that turning off all the devices until they can resolve it doesn’t impact me being able to use them. Their support teams are BY FAR the worst I have to endure and their rating of 1.8 / 5 from over a thousand reviews would suggest I am not alone in that sentiment. They are a disgrace!

Apple Absolute Garbage

Absolute garbage, never buy an Apple product ever again. Unless you can afford to buy a new one at over £1,000 a time every 10 years, buy an Android. I’ve got a perfectly good iPad Pro from 2016, now completely useless as software won’t support anything. However, my Samsung (phone) from the same period is fine with everything I now can’t use on the useless iPad

New iphone stolen by DPD

I had my new iPhone 18 pro stolen by the courier and sadly it has taken a weeks worth of phone calls to arrange for a replacement to be sent out. On top of that apparently the replacement won’t arrive for another 3 weeks or so now.

I’m disappointed in Apple using DPD as a courier for such expensive items, and how long the replacement will take to arrive. I expected a much better customer service from Apple.

Disgraceful customer service

5 days after the scheduled delivery date Apple informed me that that my new phone had gone missing in transit. They had ordered a replacement but I would have had to wait another 4 weeks. No apology, no explanation, no nothing. Disgraceful customer service. Having totally lost confidence in Apple I asked for a refund instead.

⭐ 1 star

⭐ 1 star – Extremely disappointing experience with Apple

I have been extremely disappointed with both the quality of my iPhone 17 Pro Max and the customer service I received from Apple.

I purchased this phone only around 8–9 months ago, and I am already experiencing persistent Bluetooth problems. My headphones initially connect normally, but after some time the Bluetooth starts disconnecting and reconnecting repeatedly. This affects not only music, but also calls and apps such as WhatsApp and Discord. The only way I can sometimes get it working again is by completely restarting the phone.

I contacted Apple Support, expecting them to properly diagnose the problem. Instead, I was advised to reset the entire phone. I followed their instructions, despite the inconvenience and the risk of losing data, and after all of that, the exact same Bluetooth problem continued.

So I went through the entire process of resetting my phone for absolutely no solution.

On top of this, the finish on the back of my iPhone is now peeling. This is a premium phone that is less than a year old, yet the colour/coating is visibly coming off. I raised this directly with Apple, and I was simply told that it is “cosmetic” and that there was nothing they could do.

That response is extremely frustrating. I understand that cosmetic damage can sometimes be considered separate from a technical fault, but this is a relatively new premium device that is showing premature deterioration while simultaneously experiencing ongoing connectivity problems.

What makes this even worse is the way the situation was handled. I didn’t expect Apple to simply replace my phone without investigation. I expected them to actually investigate the Bluetooth issue, assess the peeling finish properly, and offer a reasonable solution.

Instead, I was left with a phone that still has the same technical problem after following Apple’s troubleshooting instructions, a damaged finish, and the feeling that nobody was willing to take responsibility.

Apple sells its products as premium devices, and the price reflects that. Unfortunately, my experience so far has been far from premium.

Very disappointing quality and, even more disappointing, customer support. I expected much better from Apple.

I Bought my new apple 17 phone from…currys chesterfield.

I Bought my new apple 17 phone from currys in chesterfield,23-03-2016. since then it has been locked by apple. The nearest apple store is at Meadowhall. Sheffield, Which is 16 miles from where I live. I am 89 years old and cannot walk. A taxi would cost me £300 plus. So taking it their to get it unlocked is out of the question. its cheaper to bin the phone and get a new Samsung phone from EE.

I had an issue with my AirPod Pro 3s. The hearing aid part was cutting out when anything high frequency was playing.

After months of Apple calling me from Singapore, without fixing the problem they just dropped my case.

I guess they couldn't fix it so they just gave up.

Their customer service is appalling.

Management contradictory information and poor complaint handling at Apple's Regent Street flagship store

I have been an Apple customer for more than 20 years and have purchased numerous Apple products over that period, including multiple iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple TVs, AirPods, Apple watches and accessories. Until now, I had always associated Apple with excellent customer service.

On 8 September 2026, I visited Apple's Regent Street store to collect a new iPhone that I had ordered online.

My experience began poorly. I waited at the collection desk while staff could clearly see that I was waiting, yet there was no acknowledgement or indication that someone would assist me shortly. When I was eventually served, the interaction felt abrupt, impersonal and entirely transactional.

I was also surprised that I was not asked to produce the photographic identification that Apple's collection instructions had specifically told me to bring when collecting a high-value item.

After collecting the phone, I asked whether I could have a printed receipt. I was told this was not possible and then that the additional information I was seeking would appear on the emailed receipt. However, when I later checked the receipt, the information I had specifically asked about was not there.

Because I was unhappy with the service, I returned to the store as soon as possible to raise my concerns. Unfortunately, the way the complaint was handled proved more frustrating than the original transaction.

During my attempts to raise a complaint, I encountered two separate contradictions.

First, I was told by the colleague who first served served me that her name would appear on my emailed receipt. When I checked the receipt, it did not.

Second, upon returning to the store, I understood from my conversation with Mel, a store manager, that she was the most senior manager available in the store at that time. Minutes later, I was introduced to Toby, whom I was told was the senior manager on duty. I was therefore left trying to understand why I had previously been told by Mel, that there was nobody more senior available than her. Neither contradiction was satisfactorily explained.

What I found most frustrating was that the focus repeatedly seemed to shift away from the concerns I was raising and towards my reaction to them. Rather than addressing the contradictory information I had been given, I felt I was repeatedly being asked to justify why I was unhappy in the first place.

What concerned me most was not the original collection experience itself, but what happened when I attempted to raise my concerns. I expected a manager to listen, take ownership and explain how the matter would be investigated. Instead, I left with more questions than answers and less confidence in the store's management than I had when I arrived.

At no point did anyone simply take my contact details, acknowledge the issues I had raised, and commit to investigating them and providing a formal response.

This review is not about a faulty product, a delayed order or a refund dispute. It is about customer service, transparency and complaint handling at Apple's UK flagship store.

The original collection experience was disappointing. However, the subsequent management response was what ultimately led me to leave this review. I was given information that later appeared inconsistent, received conflicting explanations from different members of management, and left feeling that my concerns had not been taken seriously.

After more than two decades as an Apple customer, this is the poorest customer service experience I have had with Apple, and one that I would never have expected at its flagship Regent Street store.

I did not open the iPhone box and will return the product as soon as I get a reasonable response from Apple that my complaint has been escalated formally. Unfortunately I will look at Apple products with a bitter taste in my mouth from now on so after being a loyal Apple customer for 24 years, it's time to invest in another brand that I feel valued by, as I used to by Apple.

Hiding reviews and poor updates.

The new IOS update required ID verification and the IOS looks horrible, I haven’t updated my phone due to it but I am very unhappy with Apple from making their phones hard to repair to hiding reviews in the app store it’s getting out of hand.

Very very bad

What has affected me most is the extraordinary contrast between the cold, bloodless bureaucracy of Apple's systems and the relentlessly jovial messages of sympathy wrapped around them. At every stage I have been required to revisit my mother's death: to explain again that she has died, to establish my relationship to her, to produce her death certificate and will, and to explain why she cannot provide information which Apple's systems demand. Then, when the process fails, another pleasant message tells me how sorry Apple is before sending me back into the same bureaucratic fortress. Bereavement should not work like this. Once a company has been told that a customer has died and has been provided with appropriate evidence, its systems should carry that fact forward and minimise the number of times the surviving family is forced to re-perform their loss simply to get an ordinary administrative task completed.

Bitter sweet

Went to Bluewater store. Joseph Taino was so helpful. Second to none. He is a credible staff member. A credit to apple company.
A woman there called Jaz. Staff member had a bad attitude. Three times I’ve been in the store. Was with my elderly mother. Jaz wouldn’t give her sir name. Type of Indian woman. Said we don’t help on a one to one basis. Honestly like chalk and cheese a world apart theses two staff members.. Joseph could be more helpful. The way Jaz spoke to Joesph . I had to say how rude. Another customer in front of me of me with his wife. Had same issue with Jaz her attitude. He had hi s old phone 6 years. Only needed Jaz to take the old SIM card in his new nearly £2000 pound phone. He was struggling I called Jaz over. To help him her attitude stunk . He said if I had not purchased this new phone. Paid for it I would walk straight out this store. When I asked for Joseph name . He said everything ok. I said more than ok you were perfect. Jaz was standing behind him.. I had to leave the shop sharpish I was fuming with rage.. took me a few hours to cool off. Literally no way should that woman be in retail. Especially Apple Store..

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with Apple’s policy after reporting a genuine Apple Lightning cable that has deteriorated so badly that the internal material is exposed.

The cable was purchased directly from Apple for £19. It was not actually put into use until approximately four months after purchase, yet Apple has refused to do anything because it is now outside the guarantee.

What makes this particularly concerning is that this is the second Apple cable I have had deteriorate in this way.

This isn’t simply an old cable that has stopped working. The outer covering has physically broken down in several places and the internal material is exposed. I stopped using it because I was concerned about its safety.

I find it astonishing that Apple’s policy appears to be that once the guarantee has expired, that is the end of the matter, even when a customer is reporting significant physical deterioration and a potential safety concern.

For a company selling premium priced products, I expected far better. I believe reports like this should be assessed on their individual circumstances rather than dismissed purely because a warranty period has expired.

I do want to praise Natasha at Apple Support, who was extremely helpful, polite and genuinely tried to assist me even though this was not her department. My criticism is not of Natasha whatsoever it is of Apple’s policy and the outcome she was required to relay to me.

Very disappointing from Apple.
