Bath Aquavista
The staff at the camping site could not have been more helpful. From booking to the arrival they were super helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble.
The site itself was immaculate all the showers and toilets were spotless. Pitches were well maintained and lots to do round about. The park and ride into Bath was opposite the park but even a taxi journey in was only £10.00.
I would definitely recommend and we will be back to spend a longer period of time here in the future.

After spending the last 6 months exploring the Grand Union canal its good to be back in the warm friendly
peaceful Packet boat marina. Good to be home.

We stayed at bath caravan park and marina. It was a lovely stay and had everything we needed. We met a gentleman called Will who works there and he was amazing help when needed and went above and beyond to help us out. Thankyou Will and we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Bath Marina and loved the scenic riverside walk into Bath. The campsite is immaculate and tranquil. Poppy and Will at reception were incredibly helpful and attentive. We've already booked to return at the end of October.

What a great site and very close to all that Bath has to offer. Will and Poppy were really welcoming and very friendly. 100% going back

We stayed at AquaVista for first time 2 weeks ago and we were so very impressed with the marvelous well laid out site of 88 days lots and the staff were exceptional. The welcome we got on arrival and throughout our stay from Fi, Poppy and even the miniature dog Amfee on reception. Definitely recommend the site and we shall regularly return. Well Done. What is there not to like about this site. The staff are so helpful and welcoming and care about your experience. The site is set in a great place at the side of the Avon river/canal. It is about 2 miles into Bath along the river pathway and on route you will find an amazing bakery and a pub, The Lockheed. Yes there are a few decrepit boats on route but does that matter, no.
If you walk the other way along the canal path you reach the Boathouse and the a brilliant walk after crossing the bridge.
The, from memory X39 bus goes from outside the site into Bath. This and all other information given by staff on arrival. You might see some indifferent reviews about this site. Ignore them or lose a great opportunity to stay here. The toilets are dated but spotless. The pitches all have wide areas of grass as well as hard standing. Again staff really care about your experience here, and keep the site in best order. Thank you for a brilliant stay and we will be back.

I bought my boat >1/2 year ago, at Poplar Dock Marina, where I am permanently moored. What a very good decision I made!

This is a very well run marina, full stop. The facilities are excellent and the superb location is obviously special. Indeed the spirit on the marina is vacation like and fun. Everyone I have met (my new neighbours) is pleasant and agreeable. Well done Aquavista, and PDM!

But I especially write this to note the excellent staff here, Ethan, Kevin and (especially) Gabriel with whom I have most of my dealings.

He is a kind, lovely man, a real fine "host", very welcoming. And though he's always busy with work around here, he's very patient with us all (to me!) in our daily dramas. He has a calm way with everyone, that sets the tone here. Thus, he really does contribute to the intangible warm feeling of 'arriving home'. I'm very content living at this marina. Cheers Marco

Super freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, die großzügig und unkompliziert Hilfestellung geben, auch bei kleinen technischen Problemen des Campingmobils. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür. Die Lage und Nähe zur Innenstadt von Bath ist ideal. Gut per Fahrrad entlang des Flusses zu erreichen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Have stayed here many times.

Excellent location on the edge of Bath with excellent bus route very close to park.

PS ....we were on the caravan/motorhome Park....not the marina

Individual marina managers at Aquavista are great, but the company as a whole does not treat customers well.

Here's one example: having kept my boat at Apsley for several years, I decided to move on. I called the marina manager at Apsley, at the end of April and gave him my 3 month notice. He asked me to follow up with a formal email, which I did a few days later. I sent my email confirmation on the 2nd of May. The manager was unable to use my phone call as the official confirmation of my notice period, so I had to pay for another whole month (bar 2 days). There was no negotiating. classic Aquavista.

Here's another example: after having paid for an extra month, I thought I'd stop off at Aquavista's Packet boat marina in Uxbridge for a couple of weeks - at least that way the extra month wouldn't be a total waste of money. When leaving Packet, I was asked to return the access fobs and key I still had for Apsley by one of the managers. Rather than cause her the trouble of taking the items to Apsley, I offered to drop them back myself as I hadn't had a chance to say goodbye to a number of people back at Apsley. Unfortunately I had issues with my boat during my onward journey and I spent a month stuck in Brentford. After receiving emails requesting I return the fobs and key, I called the manager at Packet to explain my situation and the reason for delay. Despite this Aquavista still proceeded to charge me £90 with the threat of legal action. I rang to explain the situation again but no one was prepared to listen and just passed the responsibility - the manager at Packet said it was Apsley's decision, the manager at Apsley said it was head office, and a representative at head office said it was down up to the manager at Packet. Again, classic Aquavista again.

This isn't an attack of individuals, the managers have their hands tied by the company. Don't expect to be treated like a human being by Aquavista in the same way you would be by other Marinas.

Royal Clarence Marina in Brighton is a nice and quiet little marina with excellent facilities. Staff is efficient and kind. There is a wonderful English breakfast cafe nearby.

This is our second visit to this Campsite in our Motorhome and it's just lovely. Our first time was with another couple, enjoyed it so much we introduced two lots of family members for the second visit. Unfortunately one of our family had their caravan stolen only two weeks prior to arrival. We telephoned the campsite told them what had happened and they honestly couldn't of been more helpful. The customer service couldn't have been any better. We decided to have our holiday at Bath and not let the low life's spoil our time. So with a Motorhome, Caravan and tent ! We carried on. The office very kindly refunded one of the pitch's and made sure we were happy. Thankyou so much Poppy, Laura and all the staff we met in reception you have been truly amazing 👏. The site is approx 2.2 miles into Bath along the canal path very pleasant walk with a good pub and food en-route. The pitches are spacious and facilities well maintained. We would definitely go back for a third visit, there's nothing not to like. Thank you so much guys xx

The team at Aquavista Marina and Caravan Park Bath couldn't have been more helpful. They answered all queries and were helpful in getting our boat fuelled up and re-stocked. Robbie, Will and Patrick were great to work with, friendly and keen to go above and beyond. Site was really well presented and felt properly 'high end.' Would recommend.

Terrible company…. Boaters need legal protection NOW

What a fantastic location and people, I honestly can't rate these guys enough. So helpful and friendly.
We had a spot overlooking the canal and we were there to paddleboard into bath centre so lovely to watch everyone come past as we had a drink.

What a fantastic and friendly welcome. We rocked up impromptu without a confirmed booking and although fully booked, by virtue of the fact we needed no hook-up we were permitted to stay the night on a fantastic grassy spot on the ‘hill’. We had a lovely evening and splendid supper at the nearby Boathouse, a 5 minute walk along the tranquil tow-path. I couldn’t make a stronger recommendation for a level of service that is unfortunately so rare now. Brilliant stuff guys and we’ll definitely be back (with a booking next time)😜 👏👏
