Artisan Roast Opiniones 

For the last six years or so I've been buying Ethiopian Hunkute beans and grinding them for pour over and filter. When I first came across them at Drop Coffee in Stockholm they were a revelation to me. So that was what coffee was supposed to taste like! But I could only buy ready roasted beans that had been roasted for longer than the Stockholm ones. And while I still loved the coffee since then I've been looking for a light roast alternative.

I hit the jackpot with El Palto at the first time of visiting Artisan Roast. Delicious, light cherry with a slight sweetness. I've ordered more.

My only disappointment is that they don't allow a subscription to focus on trying a variety of light rosats - my favourite type. I hope they'll rethink their offers.

Tried the Swiss Water Decaf and honestly it’s one of the best decaf coffees I’ve had. Really smooth, sweet and butterscotch-like with milk. Definitely recommend getting whole beans and grinding fresh for the best aroma. It’s pricey, but worth it.

Waited 15 mins for a black coffee. Two servers, 9.30am, no urgency shown! I’m giving one star because they at least apologised for the wait.

I was on shift and thought I'd get a coffee for my colleague and myself. One person in front of me but still waited about 10 minutes to be served. There were two staff but one was delivering drinks to tables while the other was making coffee and taking payment. He said to me on a couple of occasions "one minute". No coffee, however nice, should cost £4.10!!! Especially if it's a diminutive cup. I asked for a latte and got the smallest cup I've had a latte in. It made me wonder what a flat white would look like in volume. But nearly a fiver for one cup of coffee!! Just as well I wasn't taking a pastry as well as even the most basic croissant was a similar price. So £8.20 was presented on the card reader with options to pay predetermined tips up to a whopping 20% (or custom). Not on your nelly at those prices and for that service. That whole experience was a heartsink for sure.

I recently thought I had cause to complain about a batch of coffee I received under the subscription scheme. Artisan Roast - Olivia in particular - were quick to respond, and dispatched a replacement bag to me. However, at the same time I stripped and cleaned everything in my set up, and ran test brews, and arrived at the ineluctable truth that the tainting of my coffee was due to the milk I was using. I shared this finding with AR and they responded to this idiotic customer with grace and courtesy. Great customer service from Artisan Roast!

Artisan Roast is a fantastic company with amazing customer service. Any time I've spoken with their team I've received a prompt and helpful response.

But, more importantly, the range of coffee and quality is brilliant. I love that the coffee ships with detailed information about the origin, taste profile and roast.

I use the monthly subscription service and love the range of beans I have been sent, both for filter and espresso. The rare collections offer interesting flavours and experiences in the cup.

Lovely coffee and brilliant customer service. Been a customer for years - coffee is 👌🏾 (highly recommend Janzoon). The subscription platform is flexible and you can pause or skip deliveries without the need for emails or phone calls. Most of all, the team are lovely - when things go wrong, they make it right quickly.

I've been drinking Artisan Roast for years, ever since I went to one of their cafés on a trip to Edinburgh. The coffee is consistently excellent.

This weekend, I received a taster pack with three different coffees. Unfortunately a couple of bags arrived unsealed, but within one working day they sent out replacement coffees. They were really helpful, friendly and easy to get hold of. I strongly recommend them on all accounts.

I've ordered coffee several times and my experience has always been great. Excellent coffee, great range of choice, and very efficient and friendly service.

I've had a coffee subscription with Artisan for years and it's been consistently great, both the coffee and the customer service. I was born in Edinburgh, but live in London, and it's a lovely way to still feel connected to the celestial city.

I’ve been drinking coffee from Artisan Roast since it opened and ordering coffee regularly for years. The selection is excellent, delivery is quick and the service on the rare occasions there is a an issue, is impeccable.

I have been a subscriber to Artisan Roast for a few years now. I receive freshly roasted beans every fortnight; I opt for a batch of "Filter selection" and a batch of "Espresso selection", each of which varies on each delivery, so there's always a something new to keep it interesting. The quality is always fantastic; I have never received beans that are anything less than perfect.

Delivery is reliable; it has always arrived on the scheduled day and comes via Royal Mail.

The website has really nice instructional information about preparing the best brews and the shop has a great selection of coffees and other well-priced equipment, e.g. V60 filters at the lowest price I can find online.

On the couple of occasions where I have needed/wanted to reach out to the Artisan Roast team for assistance, I've had a very speedy and warm response.

Really great company. Love the selection of coffee and subscription service.

The only coffee I buy! I try to support local when buying beans but unfortunately no coffee roasters in Aberdeen can compete with Artisan Roast, my number 1 go to who I recommend to all my friends. Their Janzoon blend is my favourite and monthly order! I've been getting Artisan Roast for over 2 years now. Their customer service is great too and very easy to get in contact with when required.

Great coffee and customer service. Sad that their Glasgow branch closed though.
