Unable to pay by debit card not told about this when told my car was ready. Had to walk half a mile to nearest cash point and back as was told I could not use my car. Attitude of person on desk was really bad, for myself a 70 year-old I'll man it was very stressful.

Failed my Mot because of a yellow engine light which is an intermittent fault and has been passed by ATS the passed 2 years by resetting the system allowing the light to go off. This time they did not reset the system so automatically failed it.

We've taken our cars here for years and they've been brilliant until now. Took our car for an MOT and we asked about one of the failures as we couldn't see any oil leak. The mechanic who did the MOT was instantly irritated by us telling us there is a bad oil leak. We said we couldn't see anything and he insisted that there is. I asked if he could show us and he went to out car, climbed in, slammed the door and put it on the ramp to show us. I worry if they are slamming doors in front of us how they treat out vehicles when we aren't around. He showed us the issue which honestly I couldn't see an oil leak but fine we will get it changed. He told us that they don't go looking for issues which I thought was strange because we never accused them of that in the slightest. The mechanic then started to lower the ramp while I was still under it which unsettled me a bit. Fixed the issues and took it for the retest and it failed on the oil leaks again despite the parts being changed and clearly no oil leaks. They are clearly fishing for easy repair work

Very good level of service from ATS here, with good techs and friendly, helpful staff. Open to queries and really knowledgeable team plus I think prices for products and services more often than not are competitive

From the time I arrived (05/02/2026) with a concern regarding my front nearside tyre deflating over a long period ( I had checked for nails / screws etc) the staff were really helpful. Examination led to belief the tyre was leaking a little air on the edge of one of the "knock on" weights used to balance the wheel. They did not have the appropriate tyre in stock but ordered one for March 6th (next day). I made an appointment for early afternoon for fitting. The tecnician took my details to ensure they could keep me updated in the event of a delayed or failed delivery ~ no such problem, arrived at booked time and tyres were switched and the wheel inner rim cleaned, wheel was balanced, I paid a reasonable price. Excellent service from the team at Cwmbran.
