Worst postal service
Worst postal service I've ever had to deal with. My daughter and grandchildren live in Australia and I have over the years posted many many gifts and cards from Ireland. The decline in service over the past 2 years is unbelievable. I've had cards( no cash in them I'm not an idiot) go missing so many times now I've had to start sending them by registered post. Last xmas gifts posted by registered post and sent at the end of November didnt arrive til January. Tried contacting customer service and found it a waste of time. Terrible terrible service.
Appalling service
Appalling service - no delivery and no notification to recipient or sender - despite paying c$150 for guaranteed delivery
Paul Graham CEO should be in jail for hate crimes
My postie carded 3 parcels and said to pick them up from a particular post office which was not the closest one to my home. I am disabled so I had to catch an Uber to the location where the staff there said that the postie had carded heaps of items to the wrong post office and that my items were actually at the one 150m from my home so I caught an Uber there.
The postie also lied about the date, they put 1 dec when it was actually 4 dec that they carded my items.
I spoke to Australia Post and the guy who answered my call was great but the supervisors were not. They said they will reimburse for postage (my items were free postage) but not for the two Ubers I had to catch to get to the wrong post office. They are aware that I am disabled and that it was the fault of their postie but they don't care. They said that it is Australia Post's policy not to pay for transport when their staff make a mistake.
The guy who answered the call really fought for me but the supervisors would not budge.
Paul Graham CEO is in a position to change that policy but has chosen not to. He is deliberately tormenting disabled people which is a hate crime and won't accept responsibility for the actions of his staff. He is too cheap to repay someone $23.62. Who risks their reputation and is happy to be known as an abuser for the sake of $23.62?
The only reason a business like AusPost…
The only reason a business like AusPost exists is because the government has legislated that there is no competition. So AusPost can get away with the worst possible service and stay in business.
AusPost isn't a real business, its a work program for the laziest people who have ever existed which is why their service is so bad.
Instead of improving their service, they changed their T&Cs to account for their poor service. No real business would be this lazy.
Shame there is no zero stars available
I posted two express mail envelopes on Friday at 10:00AM and it took more than five days to deliver one of them and more than one week to deliver the second one. Both letters were send to exactly the same address. Called support twice and they said they cannot do anything despite the fact their tracking system showed exactly were the mails were stuck. The last one arrived in the sorting centre in the same town with the destination and it took them 32 hours to load it in the truck and another seven hours to finally deliver. Money greedy cutting costs at customer expense! Shame on you Australia Post! As for me I should be crazy to use any of your services again.
I was using it to ship from AUS to USA…
I was using it to ship from AUS to USA and they lost my PARCEL. I raised the ticket but seems like they dont care at all
DONT USE THIS FOR INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS otherwise you will lose your valueable things.
Now i will use some other service. GOOD BYE AUS POST.
Completely unreliable and clueless
They lost my formal dress, so I lost my faith in them :)
Lost parcel
Lost parcel, Ben from their call centre was arrogant and just a down right uncaring customer service representative. It’s almost like he was getting himself off knowing that a customer was not happy and had lost a parcel. If his attitude is anything to go by for employees within Australia post I can almost guarantee my parcel was stolen by one of their employees.
Sent a parcel from Cairns to Adelaide
Sent a parcel from Cairns to Adelaide. Went to Brisbane then Adelaide. Was then sent to Victoria and then back to Adelaide. 4 weeks and still not arrived in Adelaide !!! Not happy.
Send out the pigeons
I have been having items not Turn up at all at the moment I have two missing items. no contact from aus post. I get other people's mail and they get my mail. I watched a small van drive by me one day and watch others get mail, on the day I got a message that your item has been delivered?(it was not) I watch them drive by. Absolutely useless, send out the pigeons.
Professional liars.
When did it become professionally ok for Australian company's to lie? The seemingly common practice of Auspost (Startrack) saying a parcel was attempted to be delivered and nobody home, when in fact we were, has to be stamped out immediately. It's utterly infuriating, and it has happened countless times over the last couple of years. Last time it occurred, I was painting our apartment all day with door open and paint cans and sheets out the door (clearly indicating someone was home) and yet we recieve a notice in our mailbox that they had attempted a delivery and nobody was home. They clearly didn't even bother to come to the apartment itself.
On this occasion, we recieved the same notice in our letter box yesterday (Friday), I was at home at the time, they did not take the parcel to the local post at the end of the day (we checked this morning), and therefore we now have to wait until Tuesday to pick up from the post office as Monday is a public holiday. Evidently, the driver not only couldn't be bothered in legitimately delivering anything to anyone's door (instead placing collection cards in peoples post boxes), but did not even wish to finish their job on Friday either and drop their undelivered parcels to the drop point so people could collect. I guess the driver was just too excited to start their long weekend. This is class A slackness. We have recently had an appalling experience with Jetstar who blatantly and shamelessly lie to their customers, and now it's Australia post. Things are seriously going backwards. What happened to ethics and integrity?
International Shipping & MyPost Service
Been a bit and my package is yet to leave Australia. I am shipping from Australia to Canada and I finally got a notification that it has left Adelaide and moved to Melbourne. It only took 6 days. At this rate, I don't even know if I'll get my package within the expected 6-10 days for Canada Standard shipping. In fact, the website doesn't even show an estimated time when I'll get my package, I just have to use the page with all expected times and hope for the best. But why, why do orders in some regions of Australia have to leave that area to get somewhere. It even went to the Adelaide airport before going to Melbourne, just leave from Adelaide. Also, the MyPost service is trash. When I want to look for Post Offices for my package to get delivered to, it only shows me the ones in Australia, and when I put my phone number in, it says it is not a valid Australian phone number, but why can't I put in a Canadian phone number?
Any word about their service is wasted energy.
Any word about their service is too much energy used for nothing. Similar to the service AusPost offers for our money: nothing.
Contrary to all the negative reviews
Contrary to all the negative reviews; my experience has been somewhat different. I ordered the Traveller in regency fawn and can’t be happier. Beck was also on hand when I needed to clarify something. 5/5 would recommend them if you’re based in the UK.
Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. Don't ever pay for express post because it's a straight up rip off. You can send normal mail and recieve faster then express post. Their customer service is ridiculous they lie and try to make you happy. They try give excuses like sorry your package is at sorting facility and yes it's in the suburb u live but you can not go pick it up because of ohs, occupational health and safety. My parcel is literally 5 mins away from me but I have to wait until Friday to receive. This is a joke. My medication is in that package. Your company should be shut down full stop. Never had a good experience always delays and always problems.
If I could give minus on starts I would. Oh top it off I was told they will notify head office or somthing like that to fasten things up bit it might take a day for them to contact me. More excuses more lies more rubbish. Australia post you are shocking
The most unreliable and slowest service…
The most unreliable and slowest service of all. Takes 2 weeks to get a post from NSW to ViC and then who know hoe long to get it delivered to my home
dont even bother delivering.
I would like to know why they can't deliver to my address. It's always marked as “unable to be left in a safe place - location not suitable”. They never even come by and it's the third time this has happened. Ridiculous.
Shocking delivery & customer service
Auspost picked up a parcel, from 30 mins away from my address in WA, on 10 October , I know I could have collected it but, I was busy. Anyway they sent it to Sydney? after collecting it. Now I’ve been given numerous delivery dates. When I challenged them I was advised it was within delivery parameters, well of course they are if they keep changing the parameters. They don’t read the complaint, they just send a standard reply concluding with have nice day, I would if they delivered my parcel. So now I have to wait until 10 Nov & if I still don’t have it I can ask the sender to chase???. I could have walked the 30 mins drive many times in the time it’s taking. Auspost please do what your paid for it’s not that difficult.
Mordialloc Post Office charged me full…
Mordialloc Post Office charged me full price for a flat rate box (+25%), even though I paid extra for the box rather than use my own box.
Can't run a business if I take a loss on postage.
Australia Post has lost my passport TWICE!
Australia Post has lost my passport not once, but twice in 2 months! Auspost blame covid, but c'mon you hired all the unvaccinated people, your workforce is stronger than mine. You have unvaccinated doctors working for you and you are still blaming covid!
