Just avoid using this company
Just avoid using this company. Customer service is useless and take hours for them to answer your call. Super expensive as well.
-5 stars avoid at all costs
If i could give them -5 stars, I would. Got an update that my item is arriving on 12 th June, Friday. Waited whole day to receive update end of the day that "couldn't gain access" which is impossible as my unit isnt gated. Checked my video bell to see nobody came. Had to download an app to view proof of "couldn't gain access" but to get a picture of the parcel instead. Why the dishonesty? If for whatever reason the parcel can't be delivered just say that then instead of trying to cook up a story. Its now 16 June, Tues, night. Parcel is not dropped off at any post office and status is still "It's coming today". Emailed Auspost and Auspost just asked to contact you ie: passing the buck
Apalling service.
Just useless
Just useless. They don't even try to deliver. They take it straight to the central post office in town. The staff at the post office have confirmed that the startrack drivers mostly just drop thier entire load at the post office. How does this company even exist. Its a bullsh*t that its owned by tax payers but has zero accountability. A bloody disgrace.
When - if - your parcel arrives ...
Going to start with most parcels arrive ... eventually. The delivery timing is hit and miss.
We live regional WA and items from the east coast can arrive more quickly than from our own capital city, not to mention items get stuck in the Perth sorting facility for a disproportionate amount of time.
Don't bother paying for express (or similar) as it has no bearing on when you will receive your goods. Paid standard freight for one item from the east coast and priority from Perth - both arrived same day.
Currently waiting on a parcel which was sent to the incorrect town (at least in the same state) - nobody is providing a response and the parcel has been scanned at the incorrect place twice already and we still don't know when we will receive it. With all the technology meant to be making everything more streamlined, why does it feel like it's just getting worse??
On a positive note (hence the two stars), our local delivery team are absolutely on point and go above and beyond doing their job.

StarTrack is the worst delivery company…
StarTrack is the worst delivery company you will ever use. There are so many things that are wrong with this company, I barely know where to start.. They are supposed to be affiliated with Auspost, but Auspost and StarTrack don't have a shared data delivery system, so nobody knows where parcels are at any time.
Terrible customer service, seems the driver doesn't want to deliver?
Terrible customer service. Parcel delivered first time, card in the mailbox not home. No other communication, timeframe or the likes. The card indicated that parcel went to botany pickup point. I drove there the next morning and was advised that the parcel was just attempted to be delivered. I explained that I wanted it to be delivered but the card indicated pickup botany. The employee in botany took my number and was planning to call the driver and had the parcel delivered. I advised that I would stay home for it. Nothing happened no communication. When I tried to call at 4 to check I couldn't even speak to a person. Next day when one would expect a delivery I finally got the message that the box arrived in botany to pickup. So I organised someone to join me and get it as I am not able to carry heavyweight at the moment after operation. Even the pickup experience was not great. Very slow and employees more chatting to each other than helping customers. I finally got the box but wow O wow I see why Amazon is thriving not hard really.
Lazy driver wont walk upstairs whats…
Lazy driver wont walk upstairs whats the point in home delivery
Exceptionally poor service.
Exceptionally poor service.. Some drivers don’t ring doorbell they just leave cards telling clients to go pick up parcel 10 km away. When there’s a PO BC less than 2 km away.
Completely INCOMPETENT
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with StarTrack was so poor that I feel compelled to share it.
A few weeks ago, I accidentally left my laptop at my 96-year-old father's home in Batemans Bay. As I live in Sydney and needed the laptop urgently for payroll, I paid StarTrack approximately $60 to collect it and deliver it to me.
The problems started immediately.
On Tuesday, a driver attended my father's property but failed to collect the laptop, citing a reason that was never properly explained. My father was told the driver would return the following day.
On Wednesday, the driver returned. This time we were told that a consignment note (connote) needed to be printed before the item could be collected. My father is 96 years old. He does not own a computer or a printer and was physically unable to print anything. The driver then advised that he would return the next day with the required paperwork.
I contacted StarTrack and explained that the laptop was urgently needed so I could process staff wages. I asked if the matter could be escalated. Despite assurances that they would investigate, nobody called me back and nobody could tell me when the item would actually be collected.
By Thursday morning I was still receiving no clear answers. Faced with the possibility of being unable to process payroll, I finished work, drove from Sydney to Batemans Bay that evening, collected the laptop myself, and returned to Sydney in the early hours of Friday morning. The round trip took several hours and completely defeated the purpose of paying StarTrack to perform the service in the first place.
To add insult to injury, StarTrack refused to refund the delivery fee despite never completing the collection or delivery.
In my view, this was a complete failure of customer service, communication, and basic operational competence. The service I paid for was not provided, no practical solution was offered, and the burden of fixing the problem ultimately fell entirely on me.
I will not be using StarTrack again and cannot recommend them based on this experience.
StarTrack charged me for a service they failed to deliver. Despite multiple pickup attempts, poor communication, and repeated assurances that the issue would be resolved, I ultimately had to drive from Sydney to Batemans Bay and back to retrieve the laptop myself. The company then refused to refund the fee for a service that was never completed. In my view, this demonstrates a complete lack of accountability, customer service, and operational competence.
$1000 electronic item left in rain
Absolutely appalling service from StarTrack.
On 29 May, during heavy rain, a Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-310 printer worth approximately $1,000 was delivered to my property. I was home at the time. No attempt was made to contact me, knock on the door, or deliver the parcel directly.
Instead, the driver left the printer in an open-sided shed exposed to wind-driven rain and marked it as delivered.
I only discovered where it had been left the following day when I went up to the shed. Upon opening the package, I found moisture droplets on the sealed internal packaging of printer components. I now have to hope that a professional-grade photo printer has not suffered any moisture-related damage because of a completely avoidable delivery decision.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I was home. There was no need to leave a high-value electronic item exposed to the weather. A simple knock on the door would have solved the problem.
Customers pay for parcels to be delivered safely, not dumped in the nearest convenient location during a rainstorm. The complete lack of care, judgement and professionalism shown here is astonishing.
I have photographs of where the printer was left and the moisture found inside the packaging. The photos speak for themselves.
StarTrack has turned what should have been an exciting delivery into a situation where I am now concerned about the condition and long-term reliability of a brand-new $1,000 printer.
Completely unacceptable.

Shit Service -
Shit Service -Have a Parcel Locker as well as a Mail Box & have repeatedly failed to Deliver .Parcel get's dropped off somewhere else because they are too LAZY -Horrible Company
Very very disgusted
Very very disgusted , I have been chasing my parcel all week , they leave “ we will leave in a safe place option “ then make up some bullshit that what I had delivered is a safety hazard , I’m assuming they are extremely lazy and can’t be assed to find my unit .
I hate this company
I hate this company. They never even ring the doorbell, don't tell me it's been taken to "a random" post office, then return it to sender with the worst AI phone customer service possible
THE WORST DELIVERY COMPANY ON EARTH
THE WORST DELIVERY COMPANY ON EARTH. Don’t even bother expecting your package, authority to leave DOESN'T MATTER.
DO NOT USE startrack FOR ANYTHING…
DO NOT USE startrack FOR ANYTHING REGIONAL, 2 weeks later with startrack premium and my package still hasn't arrived, yep said they attempted delivery and left a card, no card left and no attempted delivery on my cameras, I believe it's the Batemans Bay contractor that is a lying and incompetent contractor, just use standard Oz post it's way faster in my regional area, I've send Startrack emails and just get they can't help or they don't even respond, THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THESE PROBLEMS IS WRITE REVIEWS, gave it one star because I couldn't give it zero stars
Package delivered missing prescribed medicine
Absolutely appalling and deeply disturbing experience with StarTrack.
A parcel containing my prescribed medication (medical marijuana) seems to have been tampered with while in StarTrack’s care. When the package arrived, one of the prescribed items was missing from inside the box. The sticky tape securing the box appears to have been sliced open, the item was removed, then the box was poorly resealed with multiple layers of sticky tape to make it appear untouched.
I have since obtained CCTV footage from the pharmacy confirming that both prescribed items were packed into the parcel before dispatch, and that the box was originally sealed with a single strip of sticky tape around the edges. When I received it, the box had clearly been interfered with - multiple layers of tape had been added, the tape was bubbled, folded, and carelessly reapplied, and it was obvious the parcel had been opened and tampered with after leaving the pharmacy.
What is even more concerning is StarTrack’s complete refusal to take any accountability for the situation. Rather than investigate this properly, they immediately attempted to shift blame to my local post office, despite the fact the parcel was simply sitting there awaiting collection after already passing through StarTrack’s handling network.
A police report has been filed.
Driver marked the expensive item as delivered and faked signed for delivery himself
Driver marked the expensive item as delivered and signed it off himself , then dumped it at the post office which is in the same street i live in ,im sitting at home all day only to see tracking saying delivered and signed for ? being who i am i immediately got on the phone to zero help or explanation, went to post office found parcel , even post office lady was puzzled by how the delivery was handled ..
useless
They are useless. Never wait more then 30 seconds when they actually bother to knock. Other times they send an attempted delivery email when I was definitely home and they didn't bother to knock. Calling to complain gets u know where either
