From order through to delivery the…

From order through to delivery the whole process was smooth. Was using a c2w scheme and this was all taken care of with the only effort on my behalf being the application through my work place, balfes took care of everything else.

Should not advertise things on website as in stock if they arent

Should not advertise things on website as IN STOCK when they are not and are actually coming from warehouse resulting in excessively longer delivery timescales than advertised during purchase.

Delivered quickly by Balfes' driver and van. Delivery driver Ian called 15 mins before delivery. set-up handle bars and pedals on arrival whilst having friendly chat about MTBs. Good price for this great quality Scott Contrail 30 bike.

Received bike with different tyres to…

Received bike with different tyres to advertised, when contacted Balfe's Bikes was told they couldn't do anything as I should have checked the right parts were fitted. Very unprofessional

We’re sorry that the tyres fitted to the bike were not what you expected. We would have been happy to review this with you had the difference been reported when the bike arrived.

However, the tyres had already been used and the issue was only raised after one had sustained a puncture. At that stage, we were unable to accept the used tyres for a straightforward return or exchange. We’re sorry that this left you disappointed with our response.
