Balfe's Bikes - Kingston Opiniones 

Excellent experience buying our new MTBs. We have been using Balfe's in Kingston for a few years for components and some bike servicing and have talked bikes with their very knowledgeable staff. This week we needed to buy new bikes and were so impressed with the knowledge the staff shared and the trouble they went to to ensure we found what suited us and our budget.

Can’t fault them. Prices were great, delivery was very fast and they kept me updated. What’s not to like.

Everything went well, except there were a number of bolts that were not tightened and the mudguard was not fixed properly. There was a missing bolt from the mudgard too

Great communication and sorted my broken chain issue as promised in minutes.

Excellent service - very helpful

Would have got 5 stars but front wheel came loose on second day of riding new e-bike. Human error I guess as mechanic should have made sure wheels where secured prior to releasing bike

Amazing staff, really kindly helped me not only put cleatt pedals on but also fit the cleatts to my shoes. as a new cyclist i really appreciated having the help without judgement. very friendly service too :) thank you!!

Whole bike buying experience was great. Faaiz in the Kingston branch was so helpful when it came to choosing the right bike. Delivered this morning by Ian who spent time teaching my 9yr old son how to attach the pedals, tighten handlebars and general bike maintenance. Would recommend Balfes to everyone based on this purchase.

Good Service

Balfe's were amazing. I had a Boardman aluminium bike that was a bit unloved and having trouble shifting. I booked it in for the 'could be anything' service and they talked me through the options. An assessment and a quote came through next day, which I approved and the work was carried out shortly after that. I can't tell you how good a job they did - everything was stripped down, cleaned, tightened and tested. It's like riding a new bike! Thanks to Rosie and the Balfe's team for an excellent job.

I bought on line and arranged to collect at Kingston. All very smooth re timing , where to park etc.
I was looked after by a young man from Poland. He was brilliant. I had listened to if questions which he fully answered, and added a few of his own when asked what else I needed to know. He also got someone to fix a lock holder. It was an all round excellent customer experience. (I am sorry but I did not ask his name. A lot of talk about Zakopane!)

Very helpful staff, mended my bike in a much shorter time than predicted

Had an issue with my road bike making a weird creaking noise, got it serviced and couple of new parts but still wasn't feeling right. Staff took it back in, re-investigated and fixed the outstanding issue at no extra cost. Lovely and smooth riding now, thanks guys!
