Staff are really welcoming and lots of fitness activities to do, its just a shame that sometimes things are not working in the gym and straps are broken on the rowing machines.

I've been a member before. All staff are great. Friendly and welcoming. Always helpful. The facilities seem to get good levels of refurb and care It's good to be back in their gyms and pool

I just wanted to give a shout-out to a very helpful member of staff on the reception desk at West View Leisure Centre today (28th August 2026). Mark made me aware that by making myself a pay as you go member, I could save money on my swims at the centre. This is in turn likely to allow me to use the facilities more. Wouldn’t be my first choice
Wouldn’t be my first choice, only attend as it has a ladies only section however this is just a square box room w limited equipment! No AC and one measly fan so you can imagine how stuffy it always is inside. Site always feels dusty and never clean enough

The pool is absolutely freezing
The pool is absolutely freezing! My daughter does swimming lessons at the centre and has mentioned it is cold, I decided to swim with her today and it’s ridiculous! She has recently done lessons with school at fulwood and has commented their pool is warm! Why is the temperature so low I have never known a pool like it. I will now be looking elsewhere as it seems this has been mentioned by others and nothing done.

Available spaces on App is misleading
Just recently joined as a member and after booking a fitness swim for 8pm (49 spaces available on the app) was disappointed when arrived as half the pool was closed off to a swimming lesson of only 5 people. Over 15 people arrived for fitness swim resulting in us all being squashed into 3 very small lanes.

I like the facilities but the pool…
I like the facilities but the pool water is very very cold ,and it would be nice if there was a seperate ladies only area daily for the pool sauna n steam room.

The gym is disappointing
The gym is disappointing, the TV screens have been removed, the treadmills cooling fans don't work or the tv within it. For the cost of the monthly charge it's too much for the equipment.
The gym no longer holds the equipment that records ur workout, no fobs, no staff within the gym if ur unsure on the machine.
