I had an issue with my back wheel rotation on a mountain bike that I don't use much; was on holiday in Devon so called into the Exeter City Centre Bike Shed shop. The guy could not have been more helpful, fixed the issue with some adjustments and no fuss. Recommend the Bike Shed highly to use on repairs or to buy (based on examples of after-sales service I heard while there)

Bought my first e-mtb from the bike shed and the service was great, very knowledgable and helpful team when selecting the right bike and getting the initial setup for me. After using the bike for a few months I took the bike back to the Crediton branch to see Martin for the courtesy tune up after some use and was very impressed how through he was ensuring the bike was running well, even noticing and rectifying a couple of problems with the bike. Great service, great team, keep up the great work!

Cycling in France for the first time using my new electric bike. A game changer. Love beating my other half up the hills! Also like to pedal myself without the motor for exercise although the weather is so hot at present the motor is again a godsend.
Very easy to ride as I’m no expert on cycling. Love the step over, just one cog to deal with and the ease of using the different levels of the motor.

Easy ordering and good communication, price was competitive too. Our delivery didn’t go according to plan and didn’t fit with the Bike Shed’s standard’s, however Seth did really well to put things right. Good communication throughout to resolve the issue. Wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from them again

Lance at the Barnstaple store was extremely helpful & knowledgeable about the technical features of electric bikes. We are now the proud owners of 2 Giant e-hybrid bikes and are very pleased their performance.

I decided to cycle to Powerdham castle last night for a concert solo. As I was going over a bridge my whole gear went into my spoke and I was completely stuck. (It is a 3 hour walk) A wonderful man from the Bike Shed stopped to ask if i needed help and he didn’t hesitate. He fixed my bike there and then and I am forever grateful. It got me there and back. I think he said his name was Bill. Thank you for saving me!

Easy transaction and voucher pick up in Exeter

I needed the right tyre and brought stuff on bike shed before and they had my tyre in stock so I brought it online.

Bike was not a good fit for my son but will be charged £80 for return which seems very high relative to cost of the bike..

Great services and communication

We bought a Veloe Multi cargo bike from the Bike Shed and the experience was great. Really friendly and helpful service, including organising courier delivery across the country for what is quite a hefty bike. Couldn't be happier with the bike or the help received.

Martin, the mechanic goes above and beyond to find good solutions to any problems or faults with your bike. He has recently repaired and rejuvenated two very different bikes of mine and i have been very pleased with the result!

Purchased a Qube road bike from the Honiton road branch in Exeter, customer service was first class, all questions answered and my purchase was ready for collection in 20 minutes.
The sales assistant was superb and all in all a good all round experience.
