Not a customer but...
Not a customer, but had to pick up UPS parcel (which is very handy, instead of schlepping out to some industrial estate). Staff were very friendly and helpful, despite me having been let down by UPS's service. A nice bunch! :-)

Purchased a pair of merrell walking…
Purchased a pair of merrell walking shoes and brasher walking trousers. Abby was helpful with having to go upstairs to the stockroom to get several pairs in 2 sizes. Had visited with a friend at the weekend, where a friend bought a jacket, served by the manager. He was at the till today and his advice taken re the trousers. Really helpful and knowledgeable staff certainly helps. Plus I got a generous discount, so even happier days. Well done Salisbury branch

The manager was superb
The manager was superb. I had a pair of walking shoes that were faulty she was able to do a refund without any problems. Normally you expect difficulties with taking something back like this, I explained what was wrong she listened and was very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. I chose a different pair of walking shoes and paid the difference between the two. I also bought a new pair of walking boots based on her knowledge. I am very happy that all this was done so smoothly. My thanks to her and her team.

Excellent service
Excellent service. Had multiple walking shoes in size 13. Staff very patient and helpful in letting me try some of the walking shoes on. Will definitely be looking for next walking boots and shoes from Blacks in the future.

Terrific service
Buying walking boots is not something I usually look forward to. Today in Black's though Steve made it an enjoyable experience. He was courteous, patient and offered sound advice when I asked for it. He let me try and retry a full range of boots until I found the ones for me. Thank you, Steve!

Stress-free refund
Had to return some Peter Storm sunglasses which had broken just a week after purchase. A good service from Sarah-Jane, who processed the refund quickly and efficiently. Thanks to her for making this right with no stress. Shame the sunglasses themselves were such poor quality.
